Nula La nail studio was the spot we decided to step into before heading off to Costa Rica for our anniversary. Looking for a pedi mani I found this spot. You can find NuLa nestled in off the main busy strip of North Water, which is a perfect little hideaway for this nail studio. We walked in and were ushered in immediately to sit down and relax! Kara is one fun young lady. Her spunky attitude and knack for humor with a bit of sarcasm made this visit a treat. She is really a hoot to be around! Between the humor and the hot towels plus the relaxing atmosphere, it was a great way to start our vacation. We had top-notch service and enjoyed the experience overall. We reserved the entire studio so my wife and I could get the royal treatment. Gentle massages and hot water on the feet and lots of wonderful oils and lotions to make the hands and feet feel wonderful Overall, nothing to complain about because we left the studio feeling like a million bucks! I also think NuLa's pricing is very reasonable in comparison to other studios. Such a cool spot to be in just before heading to vacation! One of the best nail salons I've ever been too! Was in town for a wedding Memorial Day weekend & was able to get a reservation for the Friday of Memorial Day location week of, when most places were booked. The two people working the salon were super nice & friendly and the salon was very clean & had great decor. The prices were super reasonable & they had a decent color/ selection for gel & regular for the salon size. I got white regular manicure and it didn't chip for over a week and didn't turn yellow. Stayed at Kimpton Journeyman hotel and walked to Nula La. The salon is on the 2nd floor and extremely inviting. Kara is owner and very friendly. Anne is the one that I got my shellac manicure with and did a fabulous job! She is also a lovely lady. They are both very meticulous and go above and beyond. This place was fantastic! I was visiting from LA to attend a wedding and realized if I would be wearing sandals I probably needed a pedicure. Managed to get in the same day and was thrilled. The space was fabulous and way more comfy than any other nail place I have been. The owner did my toes herself and what great conversation. Due to some last minute cancellations, I was in need of a pedicure before a bachelorette weekend in Milwaukee. Being unfamiliar with the area, I turned to Yelp! and found this salon owned by a fabulous woman named Kara. I booked my appointment via Yelp and it was so easy. Kara got back to me so quickly and confirmed my appointment via email. During my appointment, Kara was so accommodating and made me feel like a queen when getting my toes done. Its not a huge surprise because Kara is a perfectionist who never lets me leave without perfect nails.
