It was fast, friendly, and no complaints about the quality of my nails! They even offered my friend and I some water/soda. My friend and I took a while to pick our colors and did not feel rushed. I opted for color changing gel polish and it looks great! Price was a bit cheaper than other shops in West Allis/Milwaukee area. I am planning to go back for a pedicure because the chairs looked clean and comfortable, and I liked that there was a lot of room rather than feeling crowded. Overall an entirely positive experience! Update---- Three weeks later and my nails have not chipped! This is the longest lasting manicure I have ever had! Definitely coming back for the color changing gel again- I received many compliments and I love how long it has lasted! The only reason I need to get them redone in a week or so is due tot the nails growing. Highly recommend! read more

Went here on a weekday late afternoon and was seen right away, but I'd expect that considering the time. What I really liked was that they offered my friend and I a glass of wine! (who are we to say "no"?) It was the Boone's Farm of wine (White Zin) but it taught me that there is a time when I'll drink white zin... when it's FREE! The chairs weren't the most comfortable, they kind of hurt at times as if the padding was worn down and the moving parts were too prominently prodding at my bones. BUT! The man doing my nails did say that they were getting new chairs (hopefully a truth!). They didn't have blowers, but just the UV lights which don't dry as well. We had to be VERY careful. My friend actually screwed her toe polish up while "testing" the dryness, but they fixed it (as they should). The services offer 2 versions... a standard and a step up which is a bit more expensive. I tried the standard to start, it will be interesting to see what the level above is and what added value the customer receives, if any. Overall... it was alright. I liked the wine offering. Chairs kinda hurt but better than no massager at all. Prices reasonable (for the standard service). Might need a second visit to more strongly commit to my rating. read more

I have stopped here a few times now for an acrylic fill & have been very pleased with their services! I was greeted by a knowledgeable & friendly reception guy, & received very neat & clean fills with gel polish. Both gentlemen that did my nails did a nice job and were both efficient. The salon is clean & quiet, but I wish maybe they would have some spa-type music on instead of soap operas on TV. Will definitely stop in again when I'm in the area. read more

If I could give this place less than one star I would. A few instances I questioned what was being done because it seemed rushed, he told me that's just the way he does it. During my pedi, my water was ice cold, and he seemed unphased when I said it was. He started to pick at my cuticles with his finger nails and then started to paint. I asked if he was going to do my cuticles and all I got was a short response of no. As he went on I stated that I didnt like how far down he started. He ignored me and kept going. He then started filing down the nail polish and he kept getting too close to the edge and making contact with skin. The last time he did burn me and he didn't flinch, another woman working there instead asked if I was okay. I said i would be fine. Upon finishing I asked him what he thought, he said they were fine. I asked him if was proud of the work he did. My nails look like they were done a week ago and have grown out even though they were done moments ago. The man who works the front desk came over and told me that I was just stressed. I asked if o could step outside to get some air because I could see myself losing it and just reacting. I came back in and said I hated my nails and was told I would have to come back and get then fixed because there was nothing that could be done about it now. Aside from not having the time nor living in the area I would never go back. I should mention that I was there with my mom and sisters getting our nails done for my sister wedding in 4 days, and this ruined that experience for us. My mom stated that she would never be coming back and the man said "I get she had a bad experience but your nails are fine" my mom stated "yes I like my nails but the handling of this situation is what turns me off" Throughout all of this, not one apology was ever given. I'm a picky client when it comes to my nails and get nervous at the thought of trying a new nail salon. However, Q Nail met and exceeded all of my expectations. Right when I walked in I was warmly greeted, immediately shown the polish choices, and offered a drink. I had a pedicure which was great and the dip powder manicure was the best I've ever had because it was thin, last over 4 weeks and lifting never occur once!! Highly recommend this place! read more

Worst experience ever at a salon. I had a pedi and then Acrylics. My pedi was done by a female and she did fine. She turned me over to an older male and he was awful! First of all he smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. He then was so rough with me and I sat there miserable and almost got up in the middle and left. He told me many, many times to relax! He poked and pushed and I came home irritated and sore. The next day and my nails are still sore. Also a younger male was watching the whole time learning from this man. So sad that he's going to learn from the rudest, roughest nail person I've ever been to! My nails turned out pretty but not worth the money and pain! I will never go back to this salon again, ever! read more

This place is a hidden gem it's VERY clean that's what I look for in a salon. The staff is nice and they are always up on trends.

I went here last week, and the place was very clean and service was excellent. I got a gel manicure for $35, which is cheaper than other places around. The people who do your nails aren't super talkative, which I prefer. I'd rather zone out while getting my nails done. The gentleman doing my nails did a really nice job. I plan on going back to get my manicure redone and also get a pedicure. read more

Stopped in on a rainy Wednesday night and found no one there but the employees. It was great. My mom and I got our pedicures done right away. It was nice and quiet, could chat with each other and the employees. I opted for a manicure and that was done quickly as well. This was my second visit and I have no complaints. The employees are very nice, friendly and professional. Services are reasonably priced. I also like that I can see them cleaning the tools they use for the nail services they are providing. I got a manicure today and there was an older man who did it. I did not get what I asked for, he kept grunting at me like I was inconveniencing him, the polish is uneven and my nails are different lengths. Just a waste of $35. I felt like there was an inordinate amount of oil left on my hands at the end. No lotion was used. The manicure was rushed and sloppy. read more

I got a pedicure and gel manicure here while on vacation in Milwaukee visiting friends. My husband and I were on a road trip and camped for weeks after the manicure, and my gel manicure still stayed flawless after preparing countless campfires and setting up our tent, etc. The staff was very professional and organized. My grandmother and I stopped in for pedicures on a Saturday morning and were told there was only one person available for pedicures and they could take us one after the other. We decided to come back another day. Months later my grandmother decided she wanted to give it another try so she called to make an appointment. She was told that they do not take appointments and to just come in. We arrived at 10:00 on a Saturday morning and were told there is a 45 minute wait. Frustrated, I inquired as to why they do not take appointments and was told that they do, but only at 10:00. The only time they accept appointments is at 10:00! There were 10 nail stations and 8 pedicure chairs and there were only 4 people working. Again, this is on a Saturday morning. My grandmother had a gift card that was going to expire so we decided to wait. While we were waiting, 2 other customers came in for services and left after being told there was a 45 minute wait. How a salon can only accept appointments for the first hour of the day and stay in business is beyond me. The girl at the front desk, Samantha, got the brunt of my anger and I apologized for taking it out on her because she obviously does not make the rules. She was very polite and apologized for the inconvenience. I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone who does not have all day to wait. read more
