I've been here a couple times, I like the nails like 50/50. Service is LACKING and not to mention the lady I had my last visit with claimed I rubbed my nail on the led lamp when my finger hit after not curing all the way bc she was rushing. Made a whole scene and I wasn't about to argue in front of everyone, you should never try and embarrass your customers (especially if I didn't do anything wrong). They take people who walk in immediately vs customers who have been waiting already. NOT ON TIME FOR APPOINTMENTS - don't go if you're in a rush. read more

My GO-TO place! We all know how hard it is to find our forever nail place/guy/gal. But once you find the one, it's your forever diamond in the rock! That's how I feel about this place. They never fail or miss when it comes to my nails. I have been going to them for a year now and they have "nailed" almost every look I've ever requested or wanted. I absolutely love coming here! Staff is super friendly (especially Kim she's one of my favorites) and they prioritize quality and customer satisfaction. I recently went in for a mani pedi and they were so understanding when I couldn't make up my mind about what color I wanted and they helped me figure out what neutral color would look best on me! If I could give 0 stars I would. Upon visiting from another state, I searched for nail spas in the area and picked this one. Upon walking in I was asked "What would you like done?" I said polish change and fill. The man says we cant do it today we are busy. I said ok that's fine how long is the wait? He said come back next week--which is crazy because you just asked what I needed. I really hate to say this but clearly racism was a factor and I did not feel welcomed at all. Today I called for an appointment because I had a minor health emergency yesterday & wanted to give myself something to feel good about today. I'm typically satisfied with my nails but often feel like the staff is rude and gets mad if I ask them to do something differently. They'll take anyone that comes in, regardless of how many people they already have in there; so be prepared to wait even if you have an appointment. This last few times I've gone I've gotten one certain nail tech that I wasn't very fond of. He's rough and simply doesn't do a good job. I've spoken with friends that go to CQ and they've shared similar stories. The last time I went, I got a dip manicure which typically lasts me 5-6 weeks. However, 3 of my nails were chipping before the end of the next day and I noticed they just looked messy. I went back and asked them to fix it and the nail tech said he forgot to file my nails at the end and that's why they were chipping, kind of seemed to me like a silly mistake to make as a nail tech. But he filed my nails and they looked better, and he then started to use the drill to clean it up. On the last nail, he cut me and I started bleeding, so much that it was filling my nail. He looked at me and coldly said "ok, wash your hands and you're done. " It's very hard for me to believe that this wasn't intentional, as if he was mad that I came back to get my nails fixed. It's now been three days since I went back to get them fixed and two of my nails have considerably chipped already. Feels like a lost cause to go back again to have them fixed. I will not be returning to this location. read more

My friend and I have been on the hunt for a nail salon that can deliver quality artwork and meet our high expectations. We were headed to the Walker Stalker convention and wanted appropriately themed nails. Tommy and Trina are both so talented, creative, accommodating, and friendly. We LOVE our nails, as does everyone who sees them. AVOID AVOID!! I would like to give ZERO stars if I could. My daughter needed her dip nails removed unfortunately they did a really bad job. They just ripped her nail extensions off with out using acetone to soften it. She was in pain. When I called them to complain about it , the guy John got very defensive and rude. He then hung up on me. This is the absolute worst service that I have ever experienced. It is ok to make mistakes but not ok to refuse to fix it and be defensive and extra rude. Tommy the nail guy dose do awesome art work however if your nails keep breaking that's not very good nail work. The first time I went to him one of my nails broke the next week. When I went in for him to fix it another lady filed it down and said tommy was to busy so I had to go with a broken nail until my next nail appointment. When I talked to tommy he Insinuated that I needed a new set So I did just that My ring finger broke while I was taking my clothes out the dryer I guess I didn't even feel it break I just seen the broken nail in my clothes as I was folding them I reached out to him and he agreed to fix it When I went in for him to fix it he had the biggest attitude Argued with me that it's no way I didn't feel my nail break. The following week my thumb nail broke without force. I reached out him he ignored me so I went somewhere else to get it fixed Then I reached out to him for a new set and he informed me that he isn't my nail guy any more. I've been getting my nails done for years I've never had this problem the only reason I was even seeking a new nail artist is because my last one moved out the state. read more

I only keep coming here because they are nearby and actually do a really good job for me, which is the point. I'm a stickler for all the nails being the same length and shape and durable, and they do pretty well for me in this department. But, their customer service and communication leaves a LOT to be desired. You can expect to walk out looking good for whatever you went in for in my experience, but don't be surprised if you don't feel particularly good or welcome after you spend the entire time listening to them talk amongst themselves and not you, giving you thinly veiled attitude for not paying in cash and basically rushing you out the door. I should not feel like crap after spending $90 (fill, deluxe pedi and tip). At least my nails look good. Meh. I almost don't care now. Don't bother making an appointment. They'll take anyone at any time, no matter who called ahead and didn't. I have waited numerous times despite always calling ahead. Their quality of work is definitely worth the higher price they're asking compared to other places, but when you take into account the entire experience, which is largely irritating, I can't help but be glad I only get a fill every 3 weeks. I am on the lookout for a different place that does as good a job but is much more customer-oriented. read more

I am so glad I randomly stopped in here once again in August and discovered that some new owners had just taken over. I have natural nails and am just a simple mani/pedi type of girl. Well somehow Bella convinced me to try the "Dip" nail, and I can honestly say my nails have NEVER been so healthy or looked so fantastic ever in the few months I have now been coming here. Bella and Tom are very personable and know a lot about which product is right for you and the healthiness of your nails. Went here for a pedicure on very short notice. They took ya in right away! The color choices for just nail polish was slim to none. Both of us mentioned to eachother how it smelt like rotten eggs in there. Went with my friend and she got the whole deal and loved every second of it. On my hand, mine was very very rushed the polish looks not good the service was crap and probably the FASTEST pedicure I've ever gotten maybe 20 min and that was the whole thing. Do not go to CQ nails in Pewaukee. I had the worst experience with them. Not only was the experience horrific, the nails were poorly done as you can see, the nails were different shapes and lengths, and they fell off 4 days later. They would not refund my money. I have text messages with the owner admitting they were not done properly. The lady who started my nails was on her first day and in a rush to leave. When the owner took over I kept pointing out what was incorrect and instead of fixing them immediately she told me to come back. I understand that shit happens, but to not fully refund me when she admitted it was rushed and done incorrectly totally reflects what kind of business this is. The physical nail job was good. The shape was clean, and they have a lot of color and design options. But, some of the nail techs are RUDE! The man I had yelled at me after I removed my hands from acetone because it was burning me, and then yelled at me again after I questioned him as to why my simple color was the same price as my friend who received a design. I had no problem paying the full amount, but I was look for clarification. I assured him that I also worked hard for my money so I cared about where it was going, and he simply told me to "worry about myself". I've gone to CQ Nails twice before to get full acrylics and they turned out fine. HOWEVER, this last time, I brought two friends and we all had a bad experience. Normally I'm in and out of a nail salon within 45 min with a full set of acrylics, but this time I sat there and had my nails filed for AN HOUR. My nails aren't even that long, so it doesn't take a lot of time to reshape. Regarding the shape, I told them and showed them an image of what I wanted and they turned an almond-shaped nail into a point-- and since I had asked for a shorter nail, they ended up looking like demon claws (NOT CUTE). I was also passed along from my initial nail technician to another and I don't think anything was conveyed as to what she was doing for him to continue. By the time I was done, it had been 90 minutes with the end result of demon claws. I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible, so I paid and then left to refile my nails (so they looked natural) at home. I found out from my friends that they also had a less-than-fabulous time there, as their nails were mucked up (acrylic) and already chipping the next day (regular manicure). I was very disappointed with the service and will NOT be going back again. read more

When I got to the salon none of the workers said anything just pointed to a chair to sit down on. Eventually a girl told me to pick my nail color and go to station 5. I sat down a with one of the ladies working there and she didn't say a word just sort of smiled when i said hello. She asked if i wanted rounded or square nails and i told her rounded. She then proceeded to place the nail clipper on my nail and asked if this is how i wanted it cut i said NO and she still proceeded to cut it making it SQUARE. I walked in for an appointment and was sat right away. It must have been her break because she gave a loud sigh as I sat down in her section because she had to leave her laptop. She cut my entire finger while removing gel and it bled so bad she put super glue on my cut. She then proceeded to do her job while occasionally stopping to check out her video or movie on her laptop. My french manicure turned into a job a 12 year old could do. I didn't bring cash to tip her either and I got a loud mumble. Will never go back. not worth the money or hospitality. read more

I only went here the one time because it was on my way home and I can say I did not enjoy the experience. There were 2 ladies working and they had just opened so it was slow and quiet except for the one employee that was on her phone the whole time... She was loud and obnoxious at times, especially when she'd start arguing on the phone with whomever she was talking to while doing another customer's nails. All I could think of was GET OFF THE PHONE! If this is how you make your money, then why not show your customer some respect by concentrating on the work you're doing instead of your silly conversation... My nail tech was better as she was not on her phone but she totally had a hard time filing my nails. I mean, filing nails is not that hard but she was having the hardest time getting them all round and at the same length...
