I never knew there was a location in Arcadia and I'm so glad I discovered it! The hainan chicken rice here is always a hit and this location is very consistent with the Rowland Heights location. I walked in to order and the food still came out very fast (less than 5 minute wait). Staff is very friendly and is very quick. The shop itself is small and only has two tables for dine in but they're mostly known for their "2go" hence their name. There is a parking lot with quite a few parking spaces so if you're just picking up, it should be no problem. read more

Delicious Hainanese Chicken! Got all dark meat option! I love that Cluck2Go does not charge extra for dark meat only like many other places. This is one of those no BS chinese places that wants to get back to what they are doing! I placed a phone order and they kept the phone manners at a minimum. Order, gave you order number, and hang up. It felt rushed and a bit rude, but it was fine. The chicken was soft and smooth. The rice, IMO, could've used a little bit more flavor, but use their broth our ginger scallion with it - it is good! Thanks for opening in Arcadia! Not a fan of the hainan chicken location at the Arcadia mall and am sick of driving to Savoy in Alhambra (their portions have gotten so small too!) The chicken portion and quality is always consistent and I never get so thirsty due to the excess msg some other restaurants put into their dishes. The chicken is not overly salted and always very tender (both dark meat and white meat). I enjoy their sauces too! It's not like Savoy but no one place is alike. The green garlic sauce is just as good. For a family of 4, we get combo A which comes with 2 portions of chicken + rice, 1 chicken broth, 1 roasted peanuts with rock sugar, and 1 cucumber dish. The bottom of the plastic bag has a pool of soup but it was not because of the soup containers leaks. It looks like they decided to pour some soup inside the plastic bag. They put 4 empty chopsticks sleeves in for the order. Why? If you don't want to give out any chopsticks than don't. Don't put empty ones in there. The chicken is great, smooth and tender, every bite is full of meat. The fried Hainanese chicken is also very good. The outer skin is crispy with the right tenderness of chicken meat, every bite of it is giving a rich layering. I love its rice very much, it is flavorful, and the texture of the rice is just right, I can eat 2 bowls of it. The fried little sweet buns are a great appetizer/dessert, the crispness of the little buns is right on the spot, can dip with the condensed milk for more sweetness, but I'm satisfied without it. It was our first time ever trying this and we ordered Combo A and the Fried Hainan Chicken and wow, it was a feast! Happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was good. The spicy cucumber salad was a tad too sweet for my liking but was inhaled. We ordered so much because I honestly thought the half chicken wouldn't be enough. We've ordered from places before where half chicken is of the smallest portions (like two pieces). We have enough leftovers for tomorrow. The chicken rice here was not bad, but not great. The good: Chicken was moist and portion was generous. The bad: Rice had a brown color and tasted like soy sauce which overpowered any chicken flavor in the rice. Next, the 2 sauces that it comes with are very meh. The red sauce was a little too sweet and the green sauce was average. I also got the spicy cucumber salad and it was not spicy at all. Actually, it was a little sweet which I found really odd and portion was small for the price. Definitely could change up the seasoning and let the cucumbers marinate longer to infuse the flavors. The Hainan chicken rice here is moist and poached perfectly. I prefer the dark and white meat mix. The portion of chicken is generous. The entrée comes with a cup of clear chicken broth and a small cup of sweet pickled veggies (predominantly cabbage mixed with a few strands of carrot and cucumber). The cashiers are friendly and greet any customer walking in. There are only two tables for four at the restaurant. The dining area is air conditioned. I also got the big size soup, it has small pieces of chicken. I wish they'd put some vegetables like carrots or celery in the soup & that will even taste better.
