Probably one of the worst pho places I have tried. The chicken pho they used chicken from drum sticks (legs) and didn't even clean it. There was yellow fat, grizzle and even bones. I also asked for no cilantro as I am allergic and the put cilantro in the soup. It's so frustrating I couldn't even eat it because of the cilantro. So I thought I would try the mango rice but it's like soup. I don't know if anything is good on the menu but it was a true disappointment. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I wouldn't even feed the chicken to my dog it was that nasty. Wonder if they would pass dirty dining. read more

Cloud 9 definitely delivered customer service. I ordered pho chicken and a pho brisket. Unfortunately I only got one broth. It was delivered by Door Dash so who knows if the drive forgot it in the car. I called Cloud 9 and the lady was soooo apologetic and asked me to text her my address she she will bring it. I have eaten at least 500 bowls of pho in my life. Maybe a thousand. This place has wonderfully good broth. Tasty without the tang of artificial ingredients. Great hard noodles. Served very hot. Spicy green chilies, juicy crunchy bean sprouts. Cool lady that runs the joint, very friendly. Very hard to beat this. Ask for some chili oil, really adds to the depth of the experience. read more

I was wary based on other reviews, but the Pho is SO GOOD. Warm, soothing, and full of sweet basil flavor. We were greeted with a plate of crisps, glasses of water, and a carafe upon sitting at a table. Very clean and well-lit, calm music at an acceptable volume. We split the spring rolls with peanut sauce. S/O got the Pho and I had honey walnut shrimp. Everything was delicious and the wait staff was pleasant but not intrusive. Of note, if you want something, go to the registers; they don't check on tables regularly like in formal restaurants. We'll definitely be coming here/ordering to go again! read more

The restaurant is extremely clean. The employees are very polite and quick to take your order! The food... yum yum yum.. i am ADDICTED to their beef salad roll. It's a real habit (4x this week) even my assistant who isn't a Asian food super fan like me was begging for them.. I've had several other items on the menu and they are lovely.. but I'm even a 12 step program for the salad beef roll . And the SAUCE!!! ADD THE MANGO IT IS.. and well that's just a perfect meal.. this restaurant is NOT near my office or my so i keep finding reasons to drive across town!! The atmosphere is warm and calming, and their take on Vietnamese is a bit different than others in this area. It was fabulous! I don't post many reviews, but I also don't find a lot of places that I like enough to look forward to trying everything on the menu. It will take a bit, but I want to try it all. My family and I went out for dinner and decided we'd try this spot. When you first walk in, you'll see that it looks like a tea/boba bar with a restaurant section to the right. We sat down and had ordered the chicken wings, fried wontons, Yangzhou fried rice, beef noodle soup(bun bo hue) the crispy chow mein, and some drinks. The drinks were pretty tasty, and seemed to be what they're known for. The food wasn't breathtaking, but it wasn't gross to where I'd spit it out. I'd say our meal was slightly satisfying, but pretty bland in taste. Somethings that did stand out to me were: the chili oil (it had nice flavor and kick to it), the crust of the chicken wings (crunchy and had a fun texture to it), the use of flat egg noodles for the chow mein (great texture), and the way they cut the charsiu in the fried rice (a nice chunky bite of pork each time). All in all, I could see myself coming back for drinks, but probably not for dinner. But who knows, maybe the calamari or the salmon is what they do best. read more

First time here today! I was quite impressed with their decor. The service is impeccable! The servers are very sweet and friendly! Food came out quickly! My friends and I ordered: fried tofu, egg rolls, salad rolls. Everything was delicious! I ordered their Bun Mang Vit (Duck Noodle Soup) absolutely amazing and big portions for the price! Duck was meaty and broth was perfectly seasoned. They're definitely not stingy on the noodles! By the end of our meal, there was no food left over on our bowls or plates! Walked in and there were 2 women sleeping. One was in a chair and the other one was in a hammock behind the register watching videos on her phone. No one greeted us when we walked in until about 15 minutes when someone walked out from the back and said there were customers in here. It's my first time here, there's other Vietnamese restaurants that have better customer service and better food without the sleeping women behind the counter. The food was gross. My chicken tastes like it was from a school cafeteria and me and my boyfriend both got sick after eating here. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

So sour and no peanut flavor at all just looks like it was so diluted and over salted I couldn't finish it. Good, quick and nice service. Restaurant decoration is also nice. I would give 3 stars for their noddles soups( bun mang vit and pho). I'm not a big fan of their broth. It was good but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again. My husband ordered noodle soup with duck and he said it was too sweet. I had the pad thai and it was really watery and also sweet. I prefer it to have more of a kick to it. My 5 year old daughter loved the panko shrimp. I would recommend this place to others even though it wasn't for us. The quality of food was good! read more

I'm sorry, wish I could've given this place a good review. The egg rolls and the server Cindy was good. But the pho- we couldn't eat it - the chicken was all dark meat with skin, fat and ligaments. The broth was taste-less and while the place looks clean and cute, the table actually overwhelmingly smelled of mildew/fish sauce. They were kind and gave us 50% off our bill for the bad pho, but we still have upset bellies and didn't get to eat much. So I know this place is new, it was previously a different Vietnamese pho restaurant but this new restaurant is sooooo gooood!!! I went for my birthday, I was so hungry and wanted pho so bad but everything else was closed. My husband and I got fried soft shelled crab and shrimp Rangoon for appetizers. Perfect! And he got the honey walnut shrimp, he ended up eating the whole plate!! I've never seen him do that. I got beef pho soup with tendon, tripe, rare flank, and meatballs, delicious! They remodeled the inside and it looks great! Personally my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in all of Vancouver! I got the dipping noodles and they were amazing, my partner loved his pho and the drinks were really good + very cool. I used to work near by and it was a great quick spot to pick up lunch. If you like keeping reusable Togo packaging this is also definitely the place to order from! I've kept the bowls for storing salads and the cups are good for storing drinks on the go. Loved this location for pho before it became Cloud 9. The new owners definitely need to learn how to make pad Thai because when I ordered it, it came out with so much watery sauce that was impossible to even eat due to it's super sour taste. The pasta itself was thick and over cooked. I couldn't take a second bite and told them to take it away and that I wasn't paying for it since it was impossible to eat. They argued that it's how it's made and still made me pay for something I only had one bite of and barely swallowed. Pho was super oily and didn't taste good on it's own. Super sad that the previous owners sold this place to people who have yet to learn how to cook. read more

Best Pho I've ever had. I'm hung up on the Beef Pho with Brisket. Some drops of Sriracha and some Hoisin sauce. Amazing!!
