This is what Chả Giò is supposed to look like
    Tripadvisor S.

Danglicious Vietnamese Kitchen - More Dang than Delicious I was excited to find a new Vietnamese spot in the neighborhood after returning home, so I stopped in to grab lunch, hopeful and hungry. That enthusiasm didn't last long. I asked the young man at the counter about Chả Giò--you know, the classic fried Vietnamese egg rolls served with lettuce wraps, herbs, and dipping sauce. He stared at me like I'd just recited the quadratic formula in ancient Sanskrit. Not exactly confidence-inspiring. I also inquired whether they offered any Vietnamese curries, another staple of the cuisine. "No," he said flatly. Well, so much for that. Still clinging to optimism, I ordered what they called Chả Giò ($9.95). What I received: four tiny rolls, a sad sliver of lettuce, and absolutely no dipping sauce. Maybe they thought blandness was a flavor profile? I also ordered a B2 - Bánh Mì Heo Nướng (grilled pork sandwich) for $9.95, but when I got home, I found a steaming bowl of P2 - Phở Tái (rare beef eye round steak) instead. Apparently, I had paid $18.95 for the honor. Now I know why my order rang up to well over $30... WHAT?! The phở was mediocre at best--bland broth, forgettable meat, and nowhere near worth twenty bucks. And to top it off, I never got the sandwich I actually wanted. So, to recap: no understanding of basic dishes, no curry, no dipping sauce, wrong order, and overpriced soup. CombatCritic gives Danglicious Vietnamese Kitchen 4 Bombs out of 10. Excellent experience. The pho broth was very tasty. The chicken wings were too sticky. The milk teas were very tasty. Would come back!

There are not many good food options in the Washougal/ camas area, so glad there is something new to try! It is a bit on the pricey side for pho. I am glad they have a more inclusive recipe for the Bún bò Huế since it doesn't have shrimp paste/ shellfish. However, it was lacking spiciness. They should consider adding some chili oil on the table or asking for spicy level. If you don't want spicy, the broth is rich and healing! Perfect comfort meal for the winter. The pork banh mi was good and the pate was flavorful, but I was not impressed with the pickled daikon & carrots. It felt shredded and not julienned. I like to bite into the sandwich and have a juicy, pickled crunch. I would like to come back and try their milk tea. I would be nice to have a place to hangout close by home instead of driving across the river to get good boba.

    Great green tea!

We hiked Cape Horn and were starving! Pulled off in Washougal and found this incredible place! Vegetarian Salad rolls and Banh Mi were outstanding! Service was professional and friendly. Please support this small business and enjoy your food!

We are daily visitors here at this establishment. Hospitality is excellent and the ambiance is great with the food, in fact it's excellent with the brown sugar milk boba tea! Service is fantastic!

    Kid-approved! :)

Our party of 8 tried several things on the menu and we all enjoyed it and had a great experience! I ordered the special combination pho and also tried the house special rice noodles and both were delicious. The staff offered chili crisp oil which I gladly accepted because I like all things spicy. My brother-in-law ordered banhmi and the spring rolls which were larger than expected and he said was very yummy. I ordered dry vermicelli noodles for the kiddos and we ended up trading because they also like my soup noodles. The place had an inviting casual ambience and seated our group comfortably. There's a bookshelf with many books and toys/Rubik's cube for kids which is a thoughtful touch! Friendly staff and super nice owners. It was also easy to find parking for us. So glad to see a Vietnamese cuisine addition to downtown Washougal. Definitely coming back!

Finally, we have Vietnamese restaurant near us. They have the best banh mi, baguette was so crispy and freshly grilled pork inside. I loved the Bun bo hue (spicy noodles)and the fresh rolls were great too. We will definitely go back.

I think he was one of the owners, he was such a kind gentleman! Food came out quickly , piping hot. My partner got the pho and I got the hu tieu bo kho. I'm going to be honest, this location under its different names has not done well in my opinion…read more It was previously under a different name (Pho 777) and had similar issues. Today my partner and I went in for lunch. There was a table ahead of of of four people who had not ordered or gotten drinks yet, and a table in the middle of eating, and us. It took 17 minutes before he took our order. To his credit, he was the only person working up front, but he seemed more focused on the kitchen and doing to go orders, which is okay, but still, not great. I've tried three times in the past 4-5 months to go in for a raw beef salad dish they have. EVERY time they tell me there is SOME reason they can't make it "this time" but that they "normally have it." Every time. So today yet again, I was told they "normally have it" but it "takes a while to make" and wouldn't have any today. Okay, bummer (btw, it doesn't take a significant amount of time to make, it's literally raw beef and veggies/herbs in a lime vinaigrette which "cooks" the beef. You can eat beef raw, so it's not like it has to cure for a number of hours like a ceviche, but okay, remove it from your menu if you can't reliably have it. We order our food. My partner orders a dish he has had at this location numerous times before. It is a dish of stir fried veggies and chicken on a bed of crunchy noodles (looks like a birds nest). He orders egg rolls as well. I order salad rolls and the P1 pho. My salad rolls come out first, maybe 10 minutes later. No worries, they were tasty and well made. And we wait. Another 15 minutes and both our entrees come out, and his egg rolls. His dish is on a bed of stir fried soft noodles, and they give me a refrigerated, plastic wrapped dish with a lemon, two slivers of jalapeno, bean sprouts, and Vietnamese coriander (rau răm). No basil. So I ask him for some basil since that is STANDARD with pho. He goes "Oh okay" and comes back HOLDING two sprigs of basil, and tells me how the flooding in Hawaii a few weeks back makes them unable to get thai basil, so all they have is Italian basil. Okay, interesting...but why wouldn't you tell someone, at a Pho place, that not only do you not have limes but you don't have basil. The pho with the basil we got was good. Good broth, nice amount of meat. But my partners egg rolls had some weird HARD thing in them that he spit out and we left on the plate, which the guy serving us had no idea. He said he'd check with who supplies them. All in all, it was disappointing. Given their menu consistently advertises things they don't really carry regularly, and they seem to just be fine swapping things out without even letting you know when you order, I don't think we will be back. We gave them a lot of chances, from when it was Pho 777 and even here, and given how much it costs to go out to eat, its not worth it. To the servers credit, he did comp my partners food but I insisted on paying for mine since I actually ate mine. My partner decided to eat elsewhere given how much he disliked his. I gave it a two stars instead of one because my pho was good and they did comp my partner, but I think this was our last time.

The staff is rude and respond with attitude any time you ask for something. What really upset me was watching one of the servers carry two large bowls of hot pho directly over my toddler's head.
