They were able to come out sane day, which was pretty impressive. We got a package that included pre-treat for stains and spills. I'm not certain the pre-treat made a difference as there were a couple spots the technician didn't get out. Funny enough I got them out after he left, so either he didn't give enough effort or my cleaning skills are better. Lol. I really don't know the deal with that, but thought it was worth mentioning. Overall we were satisfied with the job done. We had to leave fan on sectional all night to dry and it was still damp in places in the morning. In the past other companies seem to have dried faster but again no big deal.

I have never used a cleaning service before and wasn't sure what to expect. I generally deep clean my apartment by myself every few months and am pretty fastidious, so I was hesitant to use a service (thinking it wouldn't be as good me as trying to do it myself). I was so, so wrong. My apartment is actually spotless and immaculate, and they cleaned in spaces I wasn't even expecting. Like, they removed my dozens of magnets from the front of my refrigerator to clean it, and then put them all back up and arranged them so beautifully. I had also let them know in advance that they didn't need to worry about my master bedroom--I had piles of clothing everywhere and was so ashamed of it--and they cleaned it anyway, going so far as to even nicely fold all of my piled up clothing and arrange my shoes. It is literally so clean that I want to cry. And, all of this attention and care and cleanliness for an extremely reasonable price (I got different quotes from a few other places and this was by far the best). 100% would recommend Maids to Help if you're in Chicago and want to enjoy a clean home. Easily one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Even though both attendants were late, I'd say between the $180 price tag and thei overall attentiveness when i was unsatisfied, I'll probably give Morfin another call if I have similar needs in the future.

If we receive even a 1/4 inch, they are supposed to come and clear it. I'll add that we also upgraded to pet-friendly snow/ice melt, but that seems moot at this point because they have not shown up for a single snow/ice event this entire season. Have placed several calls to the owner (Jacqueline), and she continues to apologize and offer assurances, but they have not been to our property. Today we have had several inches of accumulation and they are nowhere to be found. Left a vm and no response. Strongly recommend against using them for snow/ice removal. Total SCAM.

When that little experiment clearly did not work out, we decided to sign back up with Gingerella since my previous experience was so great with them. I was afraid I had just got lucky with my cleaner the first time around, but that was definitely not the case. Our new cleaner Amy was so great and friendly. Easy to work with, and incredibly trustworthy. I absolutely hate having people in my home who I don't know, and I felt totally at ease with Amy. Sadly Amy recently left to pursue an opportunity, but the few times we had to re-schedule while Amy was our cleaner and we got someone else, they were also always super cool and did a great job.

We had a typical move out; sweep, mop, bathrooms, kitchen...inside cabinets, baseboards and fridge are additional costs?!?! Isn't that a full move out cleaning service? We ended up missing our appt and had to miss another day of work. Naomi mentioned "They never give us enough time based off estimates." We did a time check twice to see how much longer. In the future, I think it needs to be clearly communicated exactly how much longer and people can adjust their schedules.

Until I found bleach stains on my furniture. I came home after the cleaning and thought it was weird my house smelled like bleach. I even emailed the company to ask what they used to clean the floor since the place reeked. But they didn't say anything about bleach so I let it go. Then I found a smallish bleach stain on my bathroom rug. But it was a cheap rug I didn't like so I let that go too. However, I went to move my Lovsac (it's like a beanbag chair but it's huge and filled with memory foam) and there's a giant bleach stain on the bottom!!!! Saints. Sweethearts…read more Professionals. That is how I would describe the cleaning team I hired on Saturday night for what must have been one of the worst clean-ups they've ever had in their professional lives... So I just started seeing someone, and I like him a lot, but he would not invite me over to his place because he said it was "way too messy". I was thinking, you know, garden-variety-bachelor-pad kind of messy, but he assured me that no, it was really bad. After a few weeks of back and forth over whether he might hire a cleaning service to come help him out, he finally relented and let me call around to find someone. I told him that the cleaning would be my treat. Have you ever tried to find a service to do same-day apartment cleaning... on a Saturday? On the final weekend of the month, just when everybody is either moving out or moving in? Let me tell you, it is TOUGH. Everyone is either fully-booked, or won't answer their phones. I started on page 1 of Yelp, and kept dialing the numbers of every single service that had 4+ stars until I got to Immaculate Maid, my lucky #19. Breanna answered the phone - the office line was forwarded to her cell (what a novel idea, other cleaning service companies!). Not only did she have staff available to come clean that day, but she scheduled us for later in the day - 5pm. This was perfect. She offered to send either 2 or 3 people, and with my guy's foreboding tone ringing in my head ("you don't understand, it is really bad"), I quickly suggested she send 3 people, for sure. I also told her that he was just a little bit sensitive about having let his place go so badly, and could she please tell her girls to be extra nice to him, whatever it was they walked into? She was so understanding and reassuring - she said, "Of course." Well! He sent me "before pictures" just before the Immaculate Maids arrived, and WOW. It was literally kind of a den of filth. When I picked him up at 5:15 he told me that the girls had walked in with very large eyes as they surveyed the work, but they didn't say anything to him other than, "What is your cell phone number?" We were originally quoted 2.5 hours of work, but very very understandably, this got extended to 5.5 hours. Breanna was super responsive, very professional, and kept me up-to-date via text about how much time they would need to complete the cleaning. These poor girls spent ALL of their Saturday night in his place, until 10:30pm, hustling to squeeze 10-or-so years of catch-up cleaning into one session. Boyfriend was skeptical about how far they could actually get, but when we walked in he was immediately transfixed by how unbelievably clean and orderly everything was. He was literally overwhelmed with happiness! He just sat down, couldn't stop smiling, and kept saying, "You don't understand, it was BAD," and then would point out some amazing feat the girls had taken care of which he could not believe. I wasn't sure how much to tip for such an extensive and time-consuming undertaking, but I (hopefully) erred on the side of "way too much". I am hoping they will return to do touch-up service for him every few weeks, after all! I want to let Breanna, her cleaning staff, and all of you Yelpers know what an enormous psychological burden was lifted off of this man's shoulders when he came home to a clean house. His entire disposition shifted and it was almost like he was excited about life again. Seriously. I think sometimes you just get to a point where it's too overwhelming for you to even take the first few steps yourself, and you need someone to come in and wipe the slate clean for you. Immaculate Maids did that for him Saturday night. It was such a gift - it was priceless. Thank you, Breanna and staff!!
