I was looking for another Porsche 911 ( 996) and found the combination I wanted at Topsfield Motors... My salesman, Tim, was both knowledgable and transparent in our dealings throughout the transaction period...I would highly recommend him... Additionally, I had expressed interest in a independent, pre-sale inspection...Tim suggested Autobahn Performance, a reputable shop nearby that specializes in German cars...they were thorough and very informative...the car was given high marks! I reviewed the comprehensive multi-page document with Carmine, the GM at Autobahn...very helpful. My wife and I were shopping for a used vehicle for her use as our family's second car. From the moment we entered the lot we were happy we decided to make the visit, we were greeted by Jamie the lot's salesman who listened to what were shopping for and graciously showed us several vehicles. He patiently answered all of our questions, moved several vehicles so that we could view them better and take them for test drives and treated us with kindness and professionalism! While we spent a little over an hour and half test driving various vehicles we were introduced to the lot's manager Charlie who was equally gracious and patient with us, he told us a little about himself and the business and offered suggestions based upon our needs and truly made my wife feel at ease and confident that we came to the right place to shop for her next vehicle. We test drove several vehicles but finally chose a 2006 Jeep Liberty that my wife fell in love with! She loved the way the Jeep handled and she felt safe driving it and was very impressed with way Jamie & Charlie treated her by making her feel comfortable and not pressuring her to make any snap decisions. After a brief meeting in their office we discussed the cost of the Jeep and the fact that they offered an extended 12,000/12 month warranty on the vehicle but we had to decide if we could afford it. We left the dealership with the agreement that we would discuss it and get back to them with a decision soon. When I called back and told them we really liked the Jeep but needed help with the cost, Jamie & Charlie were able to get us into the Jeep at a price we could afford along with still providing us with the extended warranty!! These guys are GREAT and truly want to help their customers get a great vehicle for a great price with an extended warranty!! We are excited to pick up our Jeep and will definitely recommend North Shore Auto Gallery to all of our friends & family! Thanks again to Jamie & Charlie who are true professionals, go see them for your next used car purchase you won't be sorry!

At the time, the business manager was on the rude side, but I've come to expect that from the money guys. When I decided to lease a Jetta again in 2009, I went here first. I looked around for my salesman, but didn't see him and a younger guy approached me. After introducing himself and asking me what I wanted, his reply was, "Well, I haven't been here long and don't know much about Volkswagens, but we'll see what we can do." I was told that the car I wanted wasn't on the lot, and then my salesman and the business manager I'd worked with 5 years ago started to draw up numbers for a car they didn't have! They told me I wouldn't find one anywhere in Massachusetts or NH, which of course put me into "Oh yeah?" mode. I left. The guy called me back for several weeks and kept trying to make me feel bad for him over the phone because I was insisting on what I believed to be a reasonable price and he kept insisting that I would never find it. Well, I did find it, and I found it for a higher, more pimped out trim. So suck on that North Shore VW. If you read my review of Quirk VW, you'll know that I bought my car there, but there was a problem with the socket from day one. Since the service was warranty and Northshore VW is the closest dealership, I took it there to replace the fuse. When I picked up the car, the mechanic came right out to the crowded waiting room, spoke to me like I was 8 and informed me that I must have done something to break it, and to be careful when plugging in my charger. Excuse me? Excuse me? I managed to break a car that I had owned for less than a week by plugging in my GPS to charge? Get off your high horse. The car had a blown fuse from day one. Don't try to pawn that off on me. The 2 stars given here are purely for my salesman back in 2004. Nothing else.
