Amazing experience! Allen is the best! If you are looking for a place to get very nice used cars, this is your place! Allen was very professional and helpful throughout the entire process; he was very friendly and not pressuring at all. I've been to a few dealerships and car shops and Allen is the best person I have worked with. He truly wants to help and make sure you are getting the right car; I came all the way up from Dedham and I will be recommending Marshall Motors to anyone who needs a used car!!!!! read more

I had a wonderful experience here! Jenny is the BEST! She was extremely kind and knowledgeable during the whole experience! I highly recommend making an appointment with her if you are looking to get an excellent used car! This is a family owned business and though I didn't have had much interactions with her brothers Allan and AJ they were also professional and kind! I got a great deal and love my new car! read more

Terrible experience with Jack. I strongly recommend you do not waste your time here. I was there this morning after making an appointment by phone. Jack was dishonest and displayed all the characteristics you would want to avoid in a sales person. I was able to make a a purchase somewhere else, but I wished I hadn't wasted time dealing with him. read more

Alan Marshall the owner of the establishment is as dishonest as they come. He sold me a car that had a long history of accidents. At the time he said that this car had no accidents. When I showed him the Carfax he called me a liar and crazy and other not nice names relating to my race. I would stay away from this place at all costs. His unprofessionalism and lack of regard for his customers will leave you with an unpleasant feeling. Better off buying a car somewhere else. read more

Horrible experience. The shop owner, Allan, is a trained con artist and doesn't fully inspect his vehicles before selling them to his customers. I regret being a customer here. Do yourself a favor and shop for a car elsewhere!! read more

Bought a car from Alan at Marshall Motors. He was great to deal with from the get go. Not pushy at all. Used car dealers can all be trusted but I highly recommend Alan and Marshall Motors. Thanks for the great service. read more

Skip the misleading ads from private parties trying to flip their cars for a quick buck, because that's all I was experiencing before I saw Ken at Marshall Motors North. Sure they are in the business to make some money too (they operate a business after all), but these guys stand behind their product and are looking for return clients. You can't do that by ripping people off. Family owned business. You can tell they appreciate your time and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you get set-up properly. Ken and his son Alan made the whole process for me very simple and straightforward. I told Ken what I felt and what I needed and he accommodated me. Especially not being from the area (Watertown to Beverly is a bit of a drive) he made the process seamless and going from no car, no insurance, no idea of the entire MA. process (I'm from CA.) he explained everything clearly and I was up and running (driving) in less than a week. Probably would have been sooner too if I hadn't needed to wait until the end of my work week to make the trip again! He replaced or fixed every minor detail we covered in the walk around and test drive. True to his word, they delivered on every item. Did they quote an extortionately high price like most dealers? No. Did I practically steal the car from their lot? No. But I can tell you it was a very fair deal and I was happy to walk away knowing there was mutual trust and they would stand behind their product which to me was more important. I loved the whole experience and I love my Acura TL. Solid buy, clean history, good experience. I'm a happy client. read more

Advertise cars that are sold. Buyer beware! Female staff that works out front very unfriendly & not helpful at all.

I will go out of my way to recommend Marshall Motors North to anyone who asks, and to buy my next car. This Family Owned used car dealer is first rate. They depend on recommendations and integrity. I made 3 trips to the dealership from Hingham: 1) to test drive is; 2) to pick it up; 3) to get help with the sky light. Each time I felt my single purchase was important - . The car, BMW 3x (112K miles) is just what I wanted and it's in great shape. I'm owner #3. I'm ready to drive it to 200K and then give it to my son. It's a BMW after all. Thank you to Ken and Alan and Jack. Cheers. Ann from Hingham read more

I can't say enough good things about them I have been doing business with Alan for probably 4 or 5 years now and he literally goes above and beyond. Total peace of mind and satisfied every time that I've had to deal with them. They're also honest which is hard to find! read more

I had a terrible experience with this business. Very pushy and aggressive sales person. The sales person was very unprofessional and disrespectful. He shouted that we wasted his time by offering $500 below the listed price because the tires needed replacement. Do not go here! read more

This dealer is not a 4 or 5 stars, they cheated me out of copy of my warranty, i have called got no where very rude, i bought a car off this lot and i have already put 5 grand in it !! He will not help me in anyway DON'T BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALDER read more

I will be writing a review when I find out facts. I went to Marshall motors to give bank check for my sons purchase of Ford Escape. Alan told my son it needed 2 front tires and some brake work. He ad he'd put tires in. When I was there he told me, yes, he was putting the front tires on yesterday afternoon. I felt as tho as soon as Alan had my bank check he had someplace else to be, I just looked at vehicle asked abt tires, shook his hand and left. He acted like it was a bother to show me the vehicle I just paid him for in full! My son had to get the tires because Alan told him they didn't have them in stock so he couldn't do it. I have bought 2 other used cars since this one for my other sons . I didn't even look at Marshall Motors North because of the experience I had . This suv I bought there has cost another 2000.00 in a year! I bought a used car since at a dealership and it's great, and a great car like new from auto plus in Amesbury and the guy did everything ! Never go to Marshall , never. read more

Do not go here. The sales people are rude and sexist, will not take you seriously if you are a woman who can buy a car on their own without a husband. I was told I was a bad customer for wanting to take a car for a test drive that I was planning on buying. They're pigs. read more

AJ was very insulting and unwilling to negotiate around my price point. Once he became frustrated, he then became insulting! Bunch of snakes at this business, do not purchase from here! read more

Unfriendly and rude. Besides the guy (alan) having an attitude and giving me to his "sister", who walked me down the street to show me the car and in her words "let me turn it over but not drive it". I said I want to drive it not sit in it and turn on the key. She then told me in order to drive it I need to fill out all the paperwork and tell them how I would be paying for it (only a $4500 car not like a super fancy one) . I explained that I was just shopping around for a car and had no time to do all that. Just wanted to take it for a quick test drive to see if i wanted it. Well they wouldnt let me! What!? So i left. read more

In March of 2019 I purchased a 2002 Toyota Highlander with almost 145K for my son. The family were very easy to work with and handled the sales transaction smoothly. They gave me a good price on the trade in and found outstanding financing for me. I brought the car to the Toyota dealer for servicing for a check engine light, inspection and regular service. They also replaced the value cover gasket. The dealer service technician mentioned several time how great condition the car is in. That was very encouraging to hear. I expected some work on such an old car but now I have a good safe vehicle for my son at a great price including the servicing. read more

Never in life have I experienced such a horrible salesman in history. After being a victim of the massive pileup of accidents in Massachusetts due to the road conditions being covered with ice however, my car was declared a total loss. Upon arrival at Marshals Motor North I was greeted by a not so friendly salesman his first question "what are your intentions for today" I assumed because I was at the car lot I wanted to purchase a car. The next question was "do you know what your FICO score is" which I felt was premature considering I hadn't even looked at the car nor had I test drove the car. I asked him if I could test drive the car and again he asked "what my intentions are" at this point my boyfriend tells him we already answered that question the salesman dismissed my boyfriend and came to me and asked the same questions needless to say he denied my request to test drive the car while getting angry stating that "it's my car I can ask whatever questions I want." "I was told I couldn't test drive the car because people come here all the time and test drive cars and never buy anything." Hmmmm I wonder why!!! Bottom line horrible place of business and I took my business somewhere else to Auto house USA on rt1 Saugus for excellent service I love my new truck!!! read more

~Trust this dealership~ Having a few bad experiences from private sales and used car lots in the past, I was a bit skeptical going to a small dealership without any prior references. Allan and the team of Marshall Motors North was top notch, providing straight forward and honest evaluation of the vehicle we were looking at. This was a refreshing approach seeing that I rate used car salesmen, politicians and lawyers at about the same level of distrust. The car seemed too good to be true, low miles and priced under book value. Not wanting to loose out on a good deal we just went for it. We had a fair negotiation and even saved 7% off the original asking price. We gave them a check and a few days to prep the car. Marshall motors took care of all the registration and insurance details which was a great time saver. During the prep of the vehicle the mechanic noticed a bad tie rod end and thought the battery was substandard so they replaced both at no extra charge. Nice first impression. My wife drove the car for a week,, but one morning noticed one of the tires was low on air, and didn't want to chance driving on it. The tires looked fine when we purchased the car,, all good deep tread and solid. I removed the suspect tire and brought it in for repair. I was contacted the next day by the repair shop and they alerted me that the tire was substandard on the inside with some of the steel belt showing, and they would not repair it. I called Marshall motors and they advised me to just bring the car back and the mechanic would take a look, most importantly making sure the rim is not compromised and will hold air. In the back of my cynical mind, I assumed they would just clean the rim up and try and slap the same bad tire back on the car. I guess I kind of viewed this as a test of 'ethics' of sorts,, for this dealership. I was actually all prepared to tell them how unacceptable that would be to sacrifice the safety of the vehicle for a compromised tire, and just take the car back and go get new tires. I was very pleasantly surprised when the owner told me that they not only replaced the bad tire, but didn't advise having mismatched tires on an all wheel drive vehicle, so they replaced all four! I want to thank Marshall Motors North for restoring my faith in human kind, for doing the right thing for safeties sake and not having the dollar or profit margin make the decisions that are truly important. Plz dont expect new tires for your vehicle but do expect an honest, straight forward transaction and follow through on a good purchase experience. I will be referring friends & family to this dealership read more
