Secondly the tires had dry rot. they didn't care. thirdly the car needed both shocks and struts. Had to replace those. Now the exhaust system needs to be replaced because some moron welded the pipes to the chassie of the car. I am paying for a warranty that covers nothing. This is how they treat recurring customer. I have put more repairs into this car then the car is worth. The mechanic who did look at the car initially told me that they just wanted an oil change and a battery check. If this place had done their due diligence, they would have seen all the issues. Or maybe they did and didn't care. I believe the latter to be true. They are scammers.

My wife and I were shopping for a used vehicle for her use as our family's second car. From the moment we entered the lot we were happy we decided to make the visit, we were greeted by Jamie the lot's salesman who listened to what were shopping for and graciously showed us several vehicles. He patiently answered all of our questions, moved several vehicles so that we could view them better and take them for test drives and treated us with kindness and professionalism! While we spent a little over an hour and half test driving various vehicles we were introduced to the lot's manager Charlie who was equally gracious and patient with us, he told us a little about himself and the business and offered suggestions based upon our needs and truly made my wife feel at ease and confident that we came to the right place to shop for her next vehicle. We test drove several vehicles but finally chose a 2006 Jeep Liberty that my wife fell in love with! She loved the way the Jeep handled and she felt safe driving it and was very impressed with way Jamie & Charlie treated her by making her feel comfortable and not pressuring her to make any snap decisions. After a brief meeting in their office we discussed the cost of the Jeep and the fact that they offered an extended 12,000/12 month warranty on the vehicle but we had to decide if we could afford it. We left the dealership with the agreement that we would discuss it and get back to them with a decision soon. When I called back and told them we really liked the Jeep but needed help with the cost, Jamie & Charlie were able to get us into the Jeep at a price we could afford along with still providing us with the extended warranty!! These guys are GREAT and truly want to help their customers get a great vehicle for a great price with an extended warranty!! We are excited to pick up our Jeep and will definitely recommend North Shore Auto Gallery to all of our friends & family! Kudos to Mike, the owner of Bridge Street Auto. My mother got an oil change there and within days,…read moreoil was leaking. Since Bridge Street Auto was closed on the weekend I had to bring the car to another service station where they discovered that when the oil change was done, the mechanic accidentally (hey we're all human and we all make mistakes) did not tighten the filter inside the housing unit which caused the oil to leak . The service station cleaned up the oil, replaced the filter and oil. The charge including the labor was $250. I contacted Mike on Monday so that he was aware of what happened and how it cost us $250. Without any hesitation at all, his response was "bring me the receipt and I will take care of it". He reimbursed my mother the $250 and was so apologetic and kind. This is how a true business man should be. Thank you for stepping up and taking responsibility. Very professional guy.
