Brought it to my mechanic and paid $150 to find out : rear brakes backing plates not in good shape, 1 missing, rusted transmission pan, needs new rear rotors and a broken exhaust manifold stud. I called Dave back and shock! And surprise! He had no idea but he would fix everything!! About $2000 worth of work quoted by my mechanic. Don't waste your time with these guys. He was not only being rude but also not social distancing or even wearing a mask! The asking price was at least 5k ower the market value. The car had large scuff marks. He claimed that someone did it right the same day on his lot! All the wheels on the nearly 50K luxury car were severely curbed. He said the buyer has to pay for fixing the wheels!!! He was rude the whole time. He refused to say how many previous owners the car has and acted like "it doesn't matter how many previous owners a car has!" Seriously?! Despite being very interested in the make and the model of the car, we ended up not even test driving it because we didn't want to deal with such an arrogant person. I find this used car owner/salesperson (no professional salesperson works for him!) very unprofessional and disrespectful. There are many better dealers within less than 5 to 10 min drive. Avoid this place. After my personal experience, I think the 5-star reviews on google are not real in my opinion. They have just a few cars which are all overpriced (they have been there for a long time!) and they got no respect or manners when dealing with customers.

On 8/24 we inquired about a used Honda posted through AutoTrader whose pictures had not yet been released. The salesperson was nice enough to send a few pictures. It had just been received as a trade & needed to be checked mechanically & prepared. After checks & changes the car was "ready" so we set aside 8/30 to drive the 162 miles round trip to see/test drive. We could only drive around the lot b/c of additional needs & it still hadn't been detailed. After many more texts & phone calls the car was completely ready on 9/3. We returned, another 162 miles, drove & agreed to purchase. Had gotten approved financing at a rate Salem said they could match or better, but they could not confirm on 9/3 b/c bank was closed. Agreed to check next morning while we continued to submit our paperwork w/our lending institution (purchase & sale w/our credit union as lienholder, verification of insurance w/lienholder, car title, etc.). Dealership would not verify they would not sell this car out from under us while we were actively processing all paperwork. We asked what could be done and they said "nothing." We asked if we could monetarily hold the car, even for the $5,000 we were going to put down anyway, no. We asked if we could have our credit union wire payment & they said ok as long as it was before someone else bought it. Why were we coming up w/potential options & not them? Called back Friday to see if they received response on matching rates, "no but what's the big deal paying .8% more?" Given it was the Friday before Labor Day & all party's not returning phone calls & texts in a timely manner, our efforts to have check in hand was unsuccessful. Apparently the GM refused to allow anything to ensure us we could process the sale on Tuesday. First thing Tuesday morning we resumed our calls. The credit union was now becoming leery of providing their agreed upon sum given the dealership's questionable sales practices. I called our salesperson to ensure our Tuesday efforts were still worthwhile & they said the car was already sold. In the meantime credit was run by them & our lending institution for not, raising questions on that end for when we actually purchasing a car and They didn't have the decency to let us know even 2 days later. This happened during the sales cycle, cannot imagine how we'd be treated if we needed something post sales. Also, just FYI, if you buy a used car here, you have 3 days, INCLUDING weekends, to change your mind but only for an exchange no money back. They did us a favor, blessing in disguise! Buyer beware!

When I got there they were swapping off different parts from the same make and model but different year truck. The check engine light was on and all they did was clear it. They couldn't get their story straight on what the check engine light was for. They said it was on for the mirror which makes so sense at all. It was missing the windshield washer cap under the hood. They sprayed an oil undercoat to cover all the rust and rot. The truck bed had several rot holes straight through it. The brake light was on but the parking brake was not engaged. They were rudely trying to haggle after I already said I was going to pass, and even offered to switch parts back and forth between the two trucks. The salesman Connor said the check engine light was on but he didn't know what for then when we looked at the truck it was cleared and he said "Oh! They must've fixed the problem." And then after someone else came out he magically knew what it was for. When I took the truck for a test drive in had an exhaust manifold tick as well. I'm upset I even wasted my time with this dealership.
