    Still in their "soft opening" stage I believe because things are still a bit new. Parking garage is right around the corner so convenient : checked! Decor was beautiful, they had a hard time finding our reservations so it took 2 person but was able to seat us after! Menu was carefully explained, we chose the silver menu which is about $99 per person! The meat kept coming constantly which is a good thing, and servers are sweet but they talk a bit fast! My fav was the duck breast, it was cook to perfection! They also have a sushi bar and dessert. While it was pretty, I did not love most of the items on the sushi bar as the food was a bit dry! Overall, I would not go again! The esperience was nice to try but I would prefer the food to be a bit better and steaks to be less cooked and more on the medium rare side!

    Still in their "soft opening" stage but I have been here three times in the past month! They offer $5 valet but there's also a garage around the corner--it's closed but a sensor will open the gate when you pull up (first two hours are free). Decor inside the restaurant is gorgeous--has a fancy feel, energetic vibe with lots of bright & colorful lights and cute Japanese theme decorations. Dennis & Corey were both great servers--friendly and attentive! Managers on duty came around to check up as well. During my first visit, service was a bit slow, but it has much improved. Food was delicious! They offer different experiences but I have only ordered off the à la carte menu. Would recommend the Karaage do Brazil, Beef Gyoza, Osaka Oyster Rockefeller, Wagyu Prosciutto Skewer, Lobster Tempura, Wagyu Fried Rice, Bone Marrow Pasta and Uni Pasta. Everything is well flavored, but portions are on the smaller side. If you are a meat lover, I also recommend The Churasuko Tasting Experience ($125) which offers six different Wagyu cuts and lamb chop--each meat was 2 oz. and was shared among four people in addition to several à la carte dishes and was plenty of food. Cocktails/shots were tasty, the bartenders definitely hit the mark on them! They have three desserts--all pretty good but my favorite is the Amazon Four Milk Cake. We celebrated a birthday and they brought out lit sparklers which was super cool and great for pics! Once the restaurant has its grand opening and finalizes more food & cocktails options, I'm sure this place will do well--will have to come back again soon!

    We went for dinner at Churasuko - a Brazilian Japanese restaurant that opened some time last month. We had a reservation but when we arrived, we were told that we either had to wait or sit at the bar until a table becomes available, so we sat at the bar. Well, it took over 45 minutes for that said table to be available (again, we had a reservation). We were supposedly seated at a VIP table - that VIP table is a high top with uncomfortable chairs and a table that could barely fit the serving plates. For food, we ordered the Churasuko Experience Menu - a big, large, expensive mistake. The Half Moon Canoe was great. The foam on the Oyster Tsunami was unnecessary. The sashimi was okay but definitely not the best cuts. The chawanmushi was overwhelming and not the comforting dish I'm used to having. The miso lobster bisque was good but took too long to arrive. The wagyu cuts - I honestly couldn't tell them apart. They all tasted the same to me and most of it were overcooked - a waste of wagyu (if the meat was even authentic wagyu). The lamb was the only item that tasted differently. Oh, the entrees come with a salt and sauce container that was the weirdest container I have ever seen. A simple salt cellar would have been fine. The chimichurri tasted like it came out of a jar. The service was mixed. We had two servers wearing Japanese robes. One server, Victoria, seems to know the food well. The ambiance was probably perfect for a bar but not for a steakhouse. The place is definitely Instagrammable. Whoever planned this place prioritized aesthetics over food quality but unfortunately I don't like spending for appearances. I am usually very considerate when reviewing restaurants that just opened but I need to warn future diners - go some place else with a Michelin star if you have $200 to spend.

    TL;DR - overcooked meat, inconsistent staff knowledge, awkward/mumbling servers, wobbly tables, impractical offerings; absolutely not reflective of nor worth the price point and will not come back. Kinda upset we actually spent so much on a mid experience. But the staff are super kind. -- Highly disappointed after looking forward to this. It's clear that the restaurant favors aesthetics and gimmicks over actual quality, food and service. Note also that a good portion of the 5 star reviews here are either for the express takeout or are from dummy accounts with only one review. Food: the meat was overcooked! See my attached pictures. All well-done and tough with the exception of two of the cuts. The menu also doesn't describe any of the items, so good luck finding out what a "half moon canoe" is or what's in a "Rio trio tartlet" without making your server tell you. Nothing in the online menus either. Service: while kind, the servers didn't seem to know their own menu. Everyone also weirdly mumbled and it was difficult to understand them. One of the people who brought the meats to our table dropped the meat on my (dirty!) napkin and just picked it up and put I on my plate lol. Overall quality: our table was wobbly, which proved difficult when we were cutting our meats. The water was lukewarm/room temperature for some reason. The hostess failed to mention that being seated at the high top tables means you can't get AYCE. Or so our server said. But then I overheard another high top table ordering AYCE. There are inconsistencies in staff knowledge. The salt tower/tray thing was also cute but impractical; you can't actually dip your meat in it. The chimichurri also tasted like pickled celery or something that honestly didn't go well with the meat. The good things: The aesthetics, from the interior decor to the plateware, are vibe-y and instagrammable. The complimentary Brazilian cheese bread starter with 3 different butters was cute. Ample free parking is available in the garage for Lumen apartments. Soda refills are free as opposed to per bottle/can (except for the Brazilian soda). The miso lobster bisque and the half moon canoe were pretty good. A single order of the $125 churasuko tasting experience is plenty for two people alongside some side orders. The meat comes with pickled vegetables, which cleansed the palate. People will fall for the Instagrammable gimmick but the quality is not it for the price point.

    We had the gold tier buffet with Wagyu upstairs. The sashimi and salad bar was pleasing to the eye but the quality was lacking. Desserts such as ube cake and raspberry mousse did not live up to our expectations. Wagyu cuts were good but we felt it didn't come around as often although manger asked us if there's any particular cut we wanted so service was pretty good. However because it was buffet, our server was not as attentive to us, our water was never filled unless we asked twice. Wagyu and butter mochi bread was pretty good but for the price I would just go to fogo or chima tbh. I did hear good reviews for platinum course meal downstairs but I am not too enticed to come back from this first experience.

    Churasuko is a Brazillian-Japanese restaurant located near Tysons corner. I was excited to try their soft opening during their first weekend opening but unfortunately had to reschedule to a future date. Dined in with a party of 4 for dinner. We were seated right away and the server and the host both explained the menu to us. They have two menu options. 1. A la carte option where you just order individual items off the menu. For this, if you want meat, you have to order the $125 tasting experience. For the tasting experience, they serve 7 cuts of wagyu 2 oz each. It is good for two people to share. 2. The Churasuko Experience: it is a prix fixe but the meats are unlimited. Everyone has to get one or the other. We went for the a la carte option. They start you off with a Brazilian cheese bread with 3 types of butter. Gochujang, miso and black sesame. I ordered a Hojicha tea and it came in a hot kettle with a little espresso cup. It was nice to sip on the tea without it going cold. I don't think the server knew what Hojicha was since I repeated myself a few times just to get a blank stare. We ordered the chawanmushi, uni and bone marrow pasta, wagyu fried rice, chicken karaage, and omakase baller. The omakase baller had to be my least favorite. The rice was undercooked and hard. I could taste the plastic wrap used to make these into balls. The chawanmushi had a soft egg with strong umami flavors, but it was seasoned a bit too heavily. The chicken karaage was tender and came with a sweet sauce. It was garnished with a fried enoki mushroom. The end part of the mushroom with the dirt was still on it. The bone marrow pasta came in a stone bowl and they scraped the marrow off the bone at the table and squeezed the lemon for us too. The pasta has a lot of nori on it almost like a nori pasta. A bit of lemon juice got on a jacket which we just brushed off. The uni pasta looked identical to the bone marrow pasta, but just had uni on it. I think with all the wagyu and bone marrow flavors along with the rest of the meal, the uni flavor was too weak. The nori overpowered the dish. Wagyu fried rice had a good flavor with a lot of flavors of mushroom and wagyu. The rice was cooked well in this dish. Getting to the meats. We ordered two of the tasting experience. The meats came out in random order. They were all cooked really well. As you would expect from wagyu, everything was very rich. You get a mouthful of meaty, fatty flavor that dissolves in your mouth. Some cuts were meatier, some were very fatty and rich. I wish there was something to cut through all the fat content. Kimchi maybe? or something spicy. Ginger ale? Overall, I don't think we got anything that was refreshing and bright to compliment all the rich wagyu and fat. A salad or something citrus would have helped compliment the meats. I used the wasabi to eat with the wagyu. From reading other reviews of the soft opening, there seemed to be a positive experience. Some things that were off putting. The bench style seats made of leather made our butts stick to them. There was absolutely no sliding around and it was hard to maneuver in and out of those seats. The tables could have used much more space. The tabletop itself gets very cluttered quickly when you have too many plates and cups. The space in between tables for a different group was very tight. Churasuko is a newly opened business with a lot of new servers so a bit of patience is necessary. Overall, there is an excessive luxury feel, without the service and attention to detail to match. There is a parking garage shared with an apartment complex (Lumen) but free for two hours for retail. $8 if you go over 2 hours. They also have a valet parking for $5 for beyond 2 hours with tip.

    I dined at Churasuko last night at 6pm, on April 5, 2026. I picked the "Platinum" experience and dined downstairs with one guest for her birthday. They seated us at a table where the sun was right in my face through the clear glass windows above, for about the first hour of our dining visit. The loud bass thumping nightclub style music starting as early as the 6 o'clock range really drowned out our attempts at talking and was off-putting for what was supposed to be an upscale dining experience. For one, the seafood tower, billed as The Best of Both Worlds" did not include the grilled lobster and tiger shrimp, as specified in the menu. They were just not there. We had two, what appeared to be scallops on the top level, each resting on a lemon slice. I made special attention to notate "birthday" under the "occasion" in the Resy app, but no special accommodations were made or anything done out of the ordinary regarding this birthday. I figured maybe a complementary dessert or a birthday cocktail or something would be on its way. I was very disappointed that the staff was not forthcoming with the fact that they do offer to-go boxes; they were simply in a hurry to take away from the table, every single thing that you didn't finish eating, when it was time to transition to the next course. They would often remove items from the table without even asking. This is an immense amount of food, and I wanted to enjoy everything, while also not wasting food that would've been perfect to take home and reheat tomorrow. Some dishes where barely a single bite had been taken, should have seemed the most obvious and we were not even offered the opportunity "would you like to take this home/would you like a box?" By the time we got to the main meat course, both of us barely had any room to eat another bite. At this point I had to speak up and insist that we be given boxes to take home the steak from the main course. I was also disappointed that there didn't appear to be any real logistics to how the table dining was set up. There was no disposal plate for us to place our used oyster shells, and similar items. Our option was to either load up our small saucer-sized dining plate or put it back on the seafood tower plate with all of the fresh untouched food, which I wasn't about to do. We had to ask for an extra plate so it seemed odd that something like this wasn't planned very well for a $200 per person experience. This brings me to the $200 "Platinum Experience." It was very difficult to get anyone to articulate just what exactly this experience got you, over the other tiers. The other tiers were practically unlimited, tableside, as described, and buffet style of every meat cut on the menu and many of the other items. I'm just not sure what exactly I got for $200/person x 2. I was brought a check with over $50 in taxes, totaling over $450, and then a receipt asking for an $88 gratuity of 20%. With the aforementioned service, a tip that large at that level and price point was very difficult to justify. There's no question that a lot of the food on this menu was of absolute superb quality, but there was a serious lack of organization or strategic thinking to our experience, and they probably have a few logistical issues that I would recommend they get straight, before heavily pushing dining plans like a $200 per person, with difficult to articulate benefits.

    Opened in January at the base of the Lumen apartment building. Free garage parking for up to 2 hours around the backside. Take elevator to 1* to street level and walk around to the left to the front door beyond the ramp leading to the takeout counter. Decor is really nice. Service is friendly. Food is okay. For those working in the office buildings surrounding the Tysons BORO area, this is in the opposite direction than we would normally go and feels secluded from the BORO area. I came mid-day for lunch, but I got the impression that the decor and lighting would be much more appealing for an evening experience here, plus, this is a Japanese and Brazilian steakhouse so come hungry and ready to try it all. For reservations you notice they having a particular naming convention established at varying price points, best to review those on their website before making the reservation online. If you call, the hostess will gladly provide you all the details. Again, friendly service here. Bottom line: If you're craving a Brazilian steakhouse, but not their usual buffet of salads and sides, come here for the steak AND the buffet of Sushi beautifully displayed instead. I'll be back in a couple of months for dinner and provide an update.

    Soft opening and only serving food for carryout, I used the kiosk and I ordered the 13 sashimi platter ($39) and steak pad thai ($26) to go. I was able to watch them prepare the pad thai as they used all fresh ingredients minus the sauce concentrate that used which was a bit too salty. The sashimi was fresh and thick slices, I really enjoyed the portions. Overall the food was great. The interior looks nice but was not available to sit down yet

    Nebi was absolutely amazing. We sat on the second floor and did the gold experience. It was fantastic. We have very discerning taste when it comes to meat and it was very high quality. Recommendation , don't fill up on the sushi bar. Not worth it. Overall great experience! Would do it again

    Not even sure where to start on how bad this dining experience was. The dinner was mostly chaos. We went for a birthday dinner on a Friday night and elected for the upstairs AYCE experience. Service: we were only table #3 seated upstairs upon our arrival, yet our server took forever to come and greet our table. To the point where one of the gauchos came to the table to offer meat but we couldn't start our meal yet. During all this, a man who looked like a manager stopped by our table and asked "everything going all right girls?" When do you ever call a table of grown women girls? We told him we needed a server and instead of promptly addressing, he looked irritated. After a server finally came by and took our drink orders, we were advised to head to the buffet bar. When we came back, we still had no waters/no tongs and still could not start our churrasco experience. He struggled to set up our table properly between the different utensils, water, etc. Our server was very nice but incredibly undertrained. It took significant time whenever we needed service (i.e., new plates). The server who brought our drinks over spilled them as he set them down. Our main server also decided to hover while we signed our checks at the end - very uncomfortable. You cannot have service like this at a restaurant where the base price is $100/person. Service is entirely uncorrelated to the price point. The gauchos were the most trained and professional in the restaurant. Food: the cold/raw bar was basically inedible. Every piece of fish we picked up was overly fishy/not fresh. For the pieces of sushi, the rice was severely undercooked. The hand rolls, the seaweed paper was tough to bite into/chew. It was clear all of the food had been sitting out for too long and had gone awry. Same situation for the 3 dessert options, which also sit out on the bar - the cakes were dry on the outside. The "lobster" soup tasted like straight up creme fraiche with a drop of lobster flavoring. The meats were ok but nothing outstanding - mostly chewy and also seemed not fresh considering not enough tables. Ultimately, the restaurant is built stunning from the bar to the decor to even the carpet. However, the food/service left much to be desired. The "Japanese Brazilian" influence needs a lot of work/thought. The concept we experienced felt thrown together and unintentional.

    If you like Brazilian Steak House, this will be very familiar. We went with the Silver and it doesn't disappoint. You won't find the meats much different than Fogo De Chao or Chima. Yes different names, different cuts but not really different taste. I read some of the reviews and hey, they are typical of soft opening or maybe the time of dining. We went for lunch on a Sunday and it was pretty empty and chill. Let me get the negative out of the way, the reservation online sucks, they sort of push you to premium which is really expensive for a party of 6. There was really nothing available in Silver/Gold. For us to get that, we just called so make a call or @Churasuko make more available online. Next was the Japanese fare. It was nothing special from many of the other places you might get Sushi. It will not be as good as somewhere that specializes like Sushi Cho. It was slightly better than Chinese Buffet sushi, just a lot better presentation. If you're going for the Japanese aspect, it will be a bit disappointing. Finally the buffet bar is not going to be like you see at Fogo or Chima, there is a limited selection and its small. So for the good and why I would go back. Yes it is more expensive than Fogo or Chima for essentially same tasting meats and very similar quality. What shines is the service. I FELT LIKE I WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT CUSTOMER THERE. That sort of service is NOT what you'll get at Fogo or Chima. Next the service for meats came fast and furious and you make a request, it comes. It was phenomenal and when they noticed we really liked something we didn't have to ask they just came and brought it. The whole staff was highly attentive and that is what you pay for and its WELL WORTH IT. The ambiance was fantastic it definitely felt far more upscale and modern than Fogo or Chima. Look I would spend as much for 4 people at the Palm than I do for 6 People here so relatively speaking, its more affordable and well I would go to Charusuko over the Palm anyday. So to wrap it up 1. Yes it's more expensive than other Brazilian Steak House 2. The meats will generally be the same and taste the same as other Brazilian Steakhouses 3. The Japanese fare is rather disappointing 4. You pay for the outstanding service and the ambiance which makes for a great eating for which I will return.

    For a what's suppose to be a high end restaurant, food fell extremely flat. The steak is supposedly A5 wagyu, but did not taste like it at all. And it was cold. All portions were extremely small. Just a really overpriced place. And the drinks we ordered took quite sometime to arrive even after we were started serving food. If you are looking for a Brazilian steak house experience, places like Chima and fogo de chao have much better food and it AYCE.

No high end meat cuts or fish. The meats were salty with dull flavor. A glass of wine was skimpy. Mixed drinks - a full glass of ice to cut down on actual volume and we suspect house alcohol was watered down. No lobster bisque soup -which my favorite staple. .

I really liked the plantains, but the cheese rice was not was I expected. It was more like grits than cheesy rice. The meats were cooked to how we requested it, and of course tastes especially good with the sauces. My favorite cuts were the strip steak, beef rib, and picanha. I didn't really care for the sweet breads, but that is a personal preference. Value wise, the Parrillada platters could easily feed 4 - 5 people, so we had plenty of leftovers. The restaurant is nicely decorated, music is playing, and there is a bar. It would be a great hang-out spot.

When the check finally arrived, we had to send it back (probably should have done that with much of what had been brought to our table during the meal) because they wanted to charge us for the appetizers that the manager said were "on him." (OK, you can let go of the second thought now.) To me, it's never worth paying for bad food. Being expected to pay a premium for it makes it an even worse value. The bartender appeared overwhelmed even though the restaurant was not busy, and another patron at the bar shared that she disliked her drink and that she and her husband also had to get their own silverware. When we were finally given the bill, we placed our credit card in the folio and waited approximately 12 minutes while Carly stood directly in front of us without acknowledging that we were trying to pay and leave. When a restaurant is quiet with only five patrons during happy hour, you expect service to feel attentive and relaxed -- not slow and disorganized. At a premium Tyson's Corner location, expectations are understandably even higher. Valentine's Day is a special occasion, and this visit felt anything but special. We've always associated Ruth's Chris with a polished, high-quality dining experience, so this was especially disappointing. We hope this was an off night and that service improves moving forward.

The same server opens the refrigerator and pulls out the Mochi with his Bare Hands that I witnessed him use to eat his food and wipe his face before I walked into that door. I actually live in Japan and eat mochi regularly. There was nothing special about that Mochi in taste being 5 dollars. The entire strip where this is located is amazing, every establishment treats neighboring staff kindly, EXCEPT for this place. I've been to other Kusshi's and this is by far my least favorite one. I don't like to give out low reviews as this is my first ever one. But this is just improper etiquette.
