Cowboy Eggs Benedict
Melvin R.

Came to Chuck Wagon on a packed Sunday morning with a group of five, and despite how busy it was, the hosts were super attentive and had us seated within about 15 minutes much appreciated! The theme of the restaurant is fun and full of Southern Western cowboy charm, which really adds to the whole brunch experience. I ordered the Cowboy Eggs Benedict, and my family enjoyed the Cuban omelet. The food came out surprisingly fast considering the crowd, and everything was fresh and satisfying. Their café con leche was decent not overly strong, but still a nice touch to the meal. Even with the rush, the staff worked like a well-oiled machine friendly, efficient, and very coordinated. It's clear they know how to handle the weekend brunch crowd. I'd definitely come back again to try more dishes!

We were in the area so we stopped by for a late breakfast. The place is spacious and clean...ish. the thinks hanging on the walls need a bit of dusting but that's about it. They must have had a a huge breakfast crowd because they had a lot of staff hanging around. Looking at the reviews this place did not sound promising. I ordered the slam with biscuits and gravy, eggs scrambled soft and an ice tea half sweet half unsweetened. The tea arrived and it was unsweetened. Not a big deal, the universe must have thought with all the calories I was about to consume I didn't need the added sugar. I always ask for my eggs to scrambled soft just to get hard rubbery eggs every single time when we eat breakast out but this time they were absolutely perfect! They definitely knew the assignment! The potatoes were just ok. The biscuit and gravy....delish! The biscuits were warm and fluffy and the sausage gravy had a little kick to it. It was so good! As for the service, you would think that with all the staff they had hanging around it would be a non issue but not one person came by to refill my BF coffee cup. With that said, I would come back again!

I finally got to eat here after thinking this business was closed, down just by driving through the lot the first time. The food was just OK. I really got a microwavable feeling from this place. Although my meal was simple enough, I just wasn't too enthused by it. Something was off. I think it was the meat itself. The inside look just as I thought it would judging by the outside, a bit run down. The staff was nice, this place just needs a makeover haul I'm sure I would never revisit in the near future. I did have great service though. I thought the waitress was pretty ok. She did get busy waiting all those tables by herself and I did have to help myself to a check out requesting my tab more than once, she just shan't spend too much time talking to one customer when there are others waiting for service, perhaps.

Two eggs over easy with home fries, turkey bacon and coffee.

Since Broadway Bagel is no longer around. This is my new favorite place for biscuits and country food. Breakfast is delicious. But their coffee is amazing. Turns out they get it from a roasters company. So I can't buy it a store. Ambiance is laid back. Bring the kids. You'll leave full and happy. There's room for my wheelchair without having to worry about anyone bumping into me. There's plenty of parking. If you have to wait for a table, you can stroll around the strip mall. The service is friendly. I found out one of the sweet servers has been working here for 16 years. That's always a good sign.

I wanted to try a new place besides our usual Denny's so was told that this place was "Great". We were planning to go to the one on Sunset because we were told that the service was impeccable but they are closed on Tuesday. So we decided to drive further to this one. I walked in and the lady screamed from across the room "sit anywhere" ok that's a first. The place looked clean and the ambiance was quiet. We ordered our food and noticed that another table for his food and you could see the steam coming out of his eggs. I told my mom Ok so far so good I could tell the food was coming out Hot. A server came over introduce herself and gave us the menu. I told her it was our first time and she welcomed us. I thought she was going to be our server but NOPE. The next Server came and didn't introduce herself and I told her let's start with coffee. She brings the coffee and it's super watered down and my mom says to me not her it's not strong. Server says, " can't expect much is a nasty coffee" inside I said to myself WOW! I ordered the food. Great presentation but SUPER COLD, bacon extremely salty, tasteless grits and had to add enough ketchup to the eggs. By the way she didn't even give us Water nor offered to bring us. My mom requested a container to take the rest and her reply was "ya- pero que comieron con los ojos" seriously my mother felt she had to tell her she had gastric bypass and eats a little at a time. She was super inappropriate but it gets better. I noticed that the first server brings out the check to the person behind my mom, she takes his credit card and proceeds with the payment. My server comes to my table with my check and tells me you could go to the front and pay. Absolutely NOT! The first server came and took my payment and I did not have to get up. Unbelievable! Never again! Gave it a 2 because of the ambiance not the service.

On the outside it's a little unassuming even though the plaza itself is nice, but the decor inside was elegant. Our server was really friendly. Unfortunately, she di forget to bring into our appetizer. But we even forgot until after we were eating dinner so we didn't say anything (and it turns out it wasn't on the check either). We went at around 8:30 pm on a Friday night and there were only a few other tables, it they're open until 3am so we assume it is more of a late night spot. We both thought the food was incredible though. I had salmon (which was cooked to perfection) and cilantro rice. I ordered vegetables (zucchini, tomatoes, and broccolini) which were also surprisingly tasty. My husband had the mofongo. It was just different from the typical Puerto Rican mofongo in that didn't come with sauce other than some garlic sauce, but the taste was still great. He also liked the chicken that came with it. We will def be returning here in the future!

Looked on yelp for a nearby place to get Ramen and saw wonderful reviews for KOW. And so I ventured over. Looking unassuming from the outside in a strip mall, this is a really nice place for a quiet and wonderful meal. I was struck how it was not just Ramen, but a variety of different cuisines on one menu. I really wanted to try them all, but stuck with Ramen as that is what I was looking for on that particular evening. It did not disappoint. People have described it as the best Ramen in the area and I will not argue that point. I will, however, say that the portion was on a small side and I was still hungry afterwards. This is the only reason for the missing star. The flavor was excellent. The protein and added dumplings were all perfect. The broth was delicious. The servive was outstanding. The ambience was comfortable and truly enjoyable to have a nice conversation with my dining companion. I found the menu a bit overwhelming, but I will go back to try some of the other things as I looked around the table and people are eating a variety of different foods and by foods I mean food types as the offerings are so diverse. Prices are a bit on the high side, but my first impression is that the value is there to command those prices because the food is superb. Potentially a five star restaurant...stay tuned.

We still had a wonderful time. The food was all delicious from the appetizers to the entrees. I really enjoyed the gyozas, they were crunchy on the outside but so savory on the inside. The soup dumplings literally burst in your mouth. They were so yummy. The fried milk bun felt like I was eating a Thai donut, I expected something different but it was good. As an entree I enjoyed the Tonkatsu hot pot, presentation was 10/10. The broth tastes so good, I couldn't get enough, they use rice noodles for this dish specifically which I love. Everyone was great service wise, very kind and accommodating. The only thing I will say is that 2 dishes took longer than expected to arrive so some of the people in our party had to wait a bit longer to eat their food. Other than that, we enjoyed the food very much. The boba tea was also so good! They have a good variety of flavors to choose from, my cousins got a rainbow one and it looked so appealing to the eye. I had the green tea lemonade and added boba, it was very refreshing.

Visited with a dinning buddy on December 30th last year. I can't recall if the restaurant is part…read moreof some dining program or if it was because he had a Groupon, or something of the sort. It's a South American version of Italian cuisine. Let's start with how the place looks: on looks alone, it'd be the type of place that had it not been because my friend wanted to go there, I would have walked out immediately upon getting the first glimpse inside. While there's nothing terrible about how the place looks, it screams: we are not a total success and esthetics is not top of mind for us; with odd pieces of equipment, furniture and decor. It looked like a bit of a 90's 'time warp'. The place was small, and it was packed on a Tuesday night - I guess that means something. We had to wait for a table where some poor guy with a backpack was sitting awaiting his carry out pizza. After a few minutes he was 'oddly' relocated to a beat-up pleather armchair-stool (where top layer had peeled off) at the 'bar' (literally a view of the pizza oven) - the 'seat' came from somewhere in the back of the restaurant to make due for the poor guy (it was freezing outside that night) - needless to say, it was an odd scene (seemed like he was being evicted to the bar); and that set the tone for what about to go down for us that night. The table he was in before he was evicted from in order to give it to us (without them changing any of the tableware [glasses, silverware, napkins] that was already laid out on top of it) was what I like to call, a 'divorcee' table. It was a foot away from entrance door, and it was about 2 feet wide and 4 feet long, and it was butted long-side against the glass storefront, so we almost had to shout at each other from 4' away. The server seemed like a friend of the owner or family member, and behaved a bit odd. He advised about a special where we'd get a free bottle of red wine if we ordered two entrees, which was our case; however, given neither of us drinks, much less red wine, I asked if they had white instead, to which he swiftly replied 'no' as in: it is what it is. He asked if we wanted to take the bottle home and we declined since we wouldn't use it. Instead, we asked if we could swap it for free garlic rolls (3 pieces for $2.95), and just as swiftly he shut that down , so we forwent our more costly wine and paid for the garlic rolls - they were average (rate 3 out of 5). There was a dish that I believe was Alfredo with ham - now, that's a first for me in an Italian restaurant. I told my friend, I've never seen ham as a protein for an Alfredo unless they meant pancetta, but no, they meant cubed deli ham. So I opted to change the dish at a premium. Since I'm a fan of a good Alfredo, against my best judgement, I asked for the 'Alfredo' with chicken instead ($24 with chicken here). It was VERY HEAVY as if they had made it largely with oil and heavy cream. Thankfully, the Parmesan cheese and charred chicken helped make it acceptable. However, something was amiss with that dish as it sent me straight to the bathroom upon arriving home - and that extended until the next day, and maybe day after that. It could have been the included small side salad - who knows. My friend ordered the Ravioli Di Portobello at $29 - not an adequate price for this place. My Alfredo should have been more like $20 based on quality and locale state. For dessert, we tried the limoncello cake ($9.95; 4 out of 5) - the waiter read the dessert from memory and recommended that one. It wasn't bad except for the fact that it was drizzled in bitter dark chocolate topping. Not something I'd personally expect on a limoncello cake. When we brought that up to waiter as something he should have warned us about, he's attitude was like: that's how we do it, which it's fine, 'as long as you warn the customer' - it's like asking for tiramisu and finding out that restaurant makes it with nuts - if it's not the norm, and customer is not looking at the menu, common sense should kick in and customer should be warned. Anywho, suffice it to say, this is not a place I'd ever return to. Bouna fortuna for the thrill seekers.
