This place is nostalgic for me, this was the Chuck e cheese i used to go to when i was a little kid. With that being said, I do love to bring my kids here. They don't have animatronics they have the 2.0 remodel. Pizza is okay. Salad bar is mid. But my kids love it and I love the memories it brings back. Game selection is pretty good, but tickets are so hard to win ahah. Staff is really chill, friendly but they do seem understaffed a lot of the time. We also have the fun pass so it makes it worth it. Even though it seems like they are under staffed a lot of the time the workers are VERY friendly, attentive and nice to my kids and other kids(ive witnesses). So we were invited to a little girl's Birthday party! I thought to myself this Is going to be great. Strongly prefer this location to the other nearby one in eagle rock. The game selection feels nicer and a bit cleaner to me in Pasadena. Even though it can get busy we've always enjoyed coming here as a family and have rarely had any issues with broken games. If there was we just let someone know and they helped us. The food here was just very overpriced and not even that good. I feel like the food back then during pre-Covid was good and delicious. But now, it's not even worth it coming here for Pizza because it's just too overpriced and not that good. My bill was over $40 for two pizzas and cheesy bread. The service here was quick and efficient, and they were very welcoming to their customers walking through the doors. The ambience here was nice and a little bit noisy because it is a kids place and I don't mind that at all. It's really just the food, that it's just a little overpriced. The pizza is going to take long so plan for it. I would avoid the French fries tho as you don't get a good amount and my fries were undercooked. Overall this location is clean and staffed well. We have the monthly pass that allows our kid to play 40 games a day so whenever we're near a new Chuck E Cheese, we try and go if we do t have too much else to do. We've been to this location around 5 times now and I think it's one of the bigger Chuck E Cheeses we've been to. It can get crowded and on weekends there are always lots of birthdays happening but since it's so large, it doesn't feel as packed as other ones we've been to. My sister and I brought our kids to this Chuck E. Cheese's since we were in the area, and my sister had visited this location before and loved it. It's really spacious with many more games than the one in our city. We ordered a large pizza for the kids and salad for us and fountain drinks for everyone. The food looked fine, the salad was pretty much the same as the salad in other Chuck E. Cheese's. Everything was good except for a weird smell that bothered me the entire time we were there. I am very easy going person and I always let things go .. but he was being extremely rude to a pregnant women and was not accommodating her at all and the sad part was she was telling him all you had to do was apologize. like I said this is prob my second review ever leaving for a place , but I wanted to advise customers and HR that this is not okay , customers are always right because they are the ones generating the money. after confronting him , he told us if we don't like it we can leave and there for I am leaving this review so the compnay can get rid of him and not paying customers. read more

This place is very fun for my kids and their go to spot when I ask what they want to do? They have a bouncing play pen for them as well. But my kids do it all there! The price on the pizza is a bit over priced in my opinion but I get it, food does taste flavorful and because no parent wants a hangry childrens lol so you get what you pay for. This Chuck E. Cheese location can be found in the same plaza as Whole Foods and Vroman's Bookstore, but behind both of these businesses with plenty of parking available. I recently came to this location this past Sunday for my nephew's 4th birthday celebration (I was also here this past February for my other nephew's 6th birthday party. Funny thing is I also had a birthday party at this exact location when I turned either 7 or 8 years old... I suppose it's a family tradition). My sister in law had made a reservation a few weeks prior for a party package. The minimum amount of children that each party package (there are 3 to choose from) is charged is 5 children (even if you have less than that. So for this celebration, we had 5 reusable kid cups (with lid and swirly straws) and 5 unlimited play cards/ wristbands (I believe we had 2 wristbands, both of which my nephews wore). Each party package comes with a table reservation for up to 2 hours, with plastic table covering, paper plates, plastic utensils, napkins paper cups, etc. Each birthday party package also comes with pizza but I believe you can add additional items to your package or upgrade to get salad, appetizers, etc. You also have a pitcher of water and beverage of your choice (my sister in law chose lemonade on this previous celebration). We had 3 pizzas (pepperoni, supreme and veggie), appetizer tray (cheesy bread, french fries, chicken wings) and assorted vegetable tray (cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, baby carrots). There was also dipping sauce served with each tray. Having had the pizza here a handful of times now (my 6 year old nephew has celebrated his birthday twice at Chuck E Cheese now and have a feeling the new 4 year old birthday boy will want to have another celebration here again next year), I think their pizza is actually good. The appetizers are standard but also not bad. The hostess we had assigned to our group was David. He was wonderful (and much better than the employee we had for my other nephew's celebration back in February). David was genuinely kind and enthusiastic. He was really great with our nephews and got them really into the celebration (as there is a song and dance you can do to "wake up Chucky" so that he will come out and greet you for your birthday. David was also excellent at checking up with us, taking away dirty plates, trays, etc. Part of the birthday package is that you get to sit in the special birthday seating area and also the birthday child (and adult, if they are very young) gets a chance to catch as many tickets as they can in the ticket blaster (this is available for all the birthday packages). My 4 year old nephew definitely had a hard time catching the tickets (honestly it was hilarious watching him and replaying the video I recorded of him). When the 30 seconds were up, David let out both my brother and nephew. Unfortunately the birthday boy didn't get any tickets and even said that to David when he opened the door (it was a little sad to see how defeated and disappointed my nephew was). David said that was okay and that he would give my nephew 1000 tickets for trying (later on, David ended up giving him 2000 tickets to really try to cheer him up). As mentioned earlier, you are only allowed to sit in this special section for 2 hours. The employees will kick you out but offer to reserve a small table for you if you still want to keep on celebrating and will also help move your items to the new table. My nephews and some of the adults (including my husband) had a great time playing the games and trying to help the birthday boy win tickets (there are no more physical tickets dispensed from each machine but are kept track on the game cards or wristbands). Upon this visit, there was only 2 games that were working. There is plenty of variety of games to play, including a claw game to win small plastic balls (which we ended up winning a few for the birthday boy and for ourselves). I think Chuck E Cheese is a great place for a kid's birthday and much more affordable than other places. If you have David as your hostess for your kid's birthday, you and your birthday child will have a wonderful experience. read more

I can tell corporate wants them to do well, with all the specials and everything but the space is poorly managed. I don't know if this due to shortage in workers or just not wanting to pay people. My kids did their thing after we waited in a long line to order food, where they gave me no plates or cups, I had to ask for them once my food was ready. Then at the end there is no but one to help at the ticket counter, so we asked what would happen and we're basically told to get back in the long line only for people to be helped in the counter we were waiting forever at. I'm still currently in line so hoping we are actually helped in this line but now I'm not sure. This place was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I had booked a birthday party 9/20 for my son's 3rd birthday to show up and find out there wasnt a birthday booked. So the sassy guy with the glasses and hair clips cliamed he found nothing under my name. Mind you I received a phone call on Thursday to verify the birthday package from the size of my pizza flavors wings drinks how many guests. I was told I can arrive 15min earlier to decorate they will store your cake till its time. They will sing happy birthday. He will go into a ticket blaster with one guest. So im thinking Im just going to arrive give my name ready to pay im 15min early. The deposit is already given. Nope hair clips was already giving sass since the moment we arrived so I gave him the same energy. He proceeded to tell me give me five minutes to figure this out or order your food. I waited and at this point its 10min into the party time. My husband went over to hair clips gave him aditude just by asking him what's the update. I went over he said nothing was charged. I know that but my deposit was. I do understand the whole package wasnt charged but I had already done my order over the phone to redo it off the top of my head really?! It was done over the phone. I thought just show up verify the order ring me up and pay. Then he said the table is there I told him you could've of told us it was ready he said I dont remember your face theres 1000s of ppl I see. My older son is 6'2 holding birthday balloons next to me your meaning to tell me you couldn't call me up and let us know. We were less than 6ft away. I also told him since my time started at 530 and its 540 do I get those extra 10min he said no thats not how it works. My brother came back with a form he saw on the table with the party details. Hair clips took it from me and said its something they place on the table. I thought there was no party reserved. The whole time he gave me so much sass to have the info on the table. He had so much aditude even taking the food order. He also made it a point it was the basic package I had. It still cost me close to $500 basic or not it was money spent. We got our table. Time went by it was time to bring out the cakes everyone got theirs and we didn't. My husband had to ask about ours for them to bring out. The mouse came out sang happy birthday to each party table. The mouse left skipped our table never returned he took the suit off. It wasnt his fault because theres was staff guiding him but how do you skip a birthday table with a big board on the table. My husband talked to an employee there. They made the employee put back on the suit and came back out. At this point I was done. She asked if we wanted pictures with him I said no. The vibe was off since we arrived. He also didnt get to do the ticket blaster. It was the worst experience. My son turned 3 I was expecting him to get what was included in my "Basic Package." I wasnt the only one complaining about the hair clips employee. Another customer confronted him about the way he spoke to her kids. All in all worst experience never again. I wouldn't recommend this place. Booking seemed easy but doesn't seem like their organized and having rude customer service was the downfall. We chose to host my son's birthday here expecting a structured, special experience for him, but what we got was an overcrowded, rushed, and impersonal event that felt completely misaligned with the cost and expectations. I want to be very clear that my frustration is not with the individual employees, but with how this location runs and stacks birthday parties in a way that makes an expensive "hosted" party feel chaotic and mass-produced. There was no meaningful focus on my child's actual birthday. We hosted my son's birthday party here from 11-1 on a Sunday. We booked it two months in advance, the day booking became available. We overestimated on the number of people attending to ensure space. All was confirmed via a phone call two days before the party. When we showed up 15 minutes before start time as instructed, there were 6 or 7 parties set up, none of which were ours. They told us that they had another party currently going on at the tables they were going to give us and their party ends right at 11, so they "can't just kick them out" and saying "that sucks." They said they should have booked a buffer time between the parties for setup but didn't. The other group left around 11, but nobody cleaned their extremely messy tables until 11:15, after we asked several times. My mom was stepping in trying to do it because our guests were arriving an we were trying to set up. Note- the manager did comp one appetizer for us due to this and was nice about it, but it was just a mess and a very stressful start. Our party host didn't come over to talk and go over the party until the party start time when guests were already there, then she left to put in the pizza order, saying she had to do that before getting the rest of the party started. I had to ask multiple times for the play cards so the kids could get started with games at least, which we also got around 15 minutes late. What upset me the most though was that we paid over $800 to host this party and it was an absolute mess! There were I believe 8 parties going on at the same time, squished in the shared party area. They had Chuck E come out for the birthday dance party only once, calling the kids from all parties over together. It was so loud that you could not hear anything the employees were saying. My son was lost in the crowd of people and they just called out each birthday kid's name once for a shoutout, didn't call them to the front or for any special recognition. Then they sent everyone away and since it was too loud to give announcements, all the kids ran off to play games and the employees rushed Chuck E over to our table to sing happy birthday for my son's cake, but there were only 3 of his 14 friends there. I was running around trying to find the kids and give instructions or announcements to the parents, but it was so overcrowded and loud and rushed that it was impossible to do so. The whole thing felt very impersonal and like they were just trying to cram all bunch of parties together to make it easier. They couldn't even stagger the times but made it like a big batch mass produced event, so he basically just had to share his birthday party with a few hundred strangers and a handful of other birthday kids. I get that this was not a private party venue, but it felt like nothing was geared to him at ALL and it would have been the same as if he was another kid who showed up to play on a random Sunday. When it was time for the ticket blaster, several big kids were crowding it when it was my son's turn. I asked the employees a few times if those kids should just go first since they were in the way, but they said no and put my son in. They didn't push the other kids away, so they were all taking up all our space so none of my son's friends could see or be around him. Also, when we went to get prizes at the end, the line took FIFTY minutes to get to the front. I tried to keep it together for my son to have a good time and to be polite to those working there because I'm sure none of this was their fault and I'm totally non-confrontational, but I left with a huge sense of regret for spending all that money for a party that felt the literal exact opposite of special. I just don't want other moms to feel this way without knowing what to expect. It was wildly impersonal and there was no birthday magic for my son. I decided to splurge for my kid since it was his first year at school with a whole class of friends to invite, but PLEASE save your money. Service was absolutely amazing! Kayla was so patient, helpful, and genuine. She noticed I had over ordered on pizza and actually told me how to balance my order. With the line growing behind us she didn't rush me and politely let the other patrons behind us know she will be with them. When I went for round 2 at the salad bar while taking orders for other guest she even noticed to give me a new plate. We enjoyed the cheese crust pizza while it was hot. I took my toddler nephew to Chuck E. Cheese in Pasadena during the week to burn off his excess energy, and it worked haha. Indoor play area, jumper, trampoline, plus games? Sold. Food is expensive but Chuck's pizza is fire. It's so good he had 2.5 slices. I highly recommend their cheese and pepperoni. The staff was incredibly friendly, super patient, and I appreciated every single one of them. I know it can't be easy. Me and my nephew had a blast and the staff made a difference. The restaurant arcade play area was very well maintained and clean. Location is in a plaza with ample parking. For reference, I came in during the week and the crowd was perfect. Pro tip: consider monthly unlimited memberships especially if you're local. An hour or two is so worth it. Little man was so exhausted when we got home. I can only speak as a guest but this is a kids'/birthday party paradise. Easy, free parking since this location is inside a strip mall. There are booths by the doors if your family wants to drop by for a fun few hours. There's a food counter with pizzas, salad and drink fountains to keep the energy up during play! Bathrooms are decent and clean. For a birthday party, there is a designated area with long, tables for each family. Staff is attentive and will call out the Birthday child's name when the pizza is ready. Dippin' Dots are also available. It seems however, families need to provide their own balloons, decorations and cake. Parties are done in four-hour increments before Staff gets in the loud speaker asking them to collect personal belongings and leave! Otherwise, this is a kids' paradise and play, jump and go crazy to their hearts' content! Characters in costume come out and wave at the kids Erich they love! Note, it is LOUD! There are lots of flashing lights so if anyone in your party has sensory issues, this is not the place. Even as an adult, I had difficulty with the amount of noise. Celebrated my son's 5th at Chuck E's last night (01/09) felt compelled to write a review since our experience was marvelous. Weekday bdays is the way to go here at Chuck E's. We had the whole party room to ourselves and we had the best service from all the employees. Our party host SOPHIA was amazing, the way she made this party the best can't even thank her. She was so pleasant and even something so simple as her voice and the way she animated her words when talking to the kids was perfection. The food was delicious, perfect temperature, right on time. Amanda is a Good Samaritan. As my husband and I walked in with our 8 years old grandson today, April 11/ 2025, he lowered himself to the floor and said "I feel like passing out. The games are still fun but it is quite difficult to get any prize that doesn't immediately end up in the trash after the car ride home. Standing in line for the cashier or service at the front is unreasonably slow. I timed the 5-6 times I had to do it and on average it took 10+ minutes each time to queue. After spending $100+ on the visit, queuing in line for 60 minutes isn't a great experience. Also they didn't run the AC, so it got pretty hot inside after chasing kids around for over an hour.
