    Service: Neil was an absolute professional and very helpful. Food: Great quality. 4th time coming to Cerritos location despite living near the Rowland Heights location. Ambiance: Space is a bit tight which you can hear other patrons conversations.

    Less than two weeks ago, my wife and I were here and had an amazing time with Charlie's excellent service. This time we are here for my son's birthday and him being a club member, he got his silver tier on the house. Knowing that, I've really gotten my monies worth for my membership and with my own birthday coming up in a couple of months, I will definitely get more than my monies worth so that has solidified my decision to continue to keep my club membership. This visit we got Moses as our server who was as good of a server as Charlie. I think we need to learn to cook and eat faster so we don't run short of our 70 minutes, but when you have so much to choose from, 70 minutes is just not enough, but I truly understand it because of how well received Chubby Cattle is to the city of Cerritos. I understand the cost of even the silver tier being higher than most Korean BBQ restaurants, but the quality of the Wagyu beef served here at chubby cattle makes the difference in price of other AYCE Bbq restaurants.

    First time at a Chubby Cattle. Staff are friendly and very attentive. Great place to gather and have good food. However, the AYCE experience is way different IMO. The meats, shrimp, sushi, and specialties are ordered through a computer program. Very forward thinking. The Curry Wagyu mixed with rice was simply tantalizingly delicious. The Wagyu Steak is 1/4" thick cooking pretty quickly. The pork belly was fantastic along with the large shrimp . Hint: the large shrimp? Suck the head like a crawfish. The smorgasbord bars are set up differently. Sauces, vegetables, fruits and desserts along with 3-4 hot food areas. Inside is very tight but walkable. Just be cognizant when walking around bcz the kitchen does have very hot foods coming out through the walk paths. For the initial price of $58, enjoy the experience and as much Wagyu and large shrimp as possible. For this price up to Premium, I can find better but it's worth a try at least once. Highly recommend, It's expensive IMO but one must try at least once to see and feel it.

    Steak was so buttery I couldn't get enough! This spot is my #1 kbbq everything is soooo worth it. Came here and left with a membership. I enjoyed the whole experience. From the premium steaks to their sushi's! Soooooo worth it !

    Highly recommend coming here for their amazing meat quality. Hands down the best brisket and pretty much any meat selection they have! You can even see the marbling on the meat, once it is cooked, it literally melts in your mouth. I wish there was a location closer to the westside, hope to be back soon!

    4/11/26 First time here to celebrate my anniversary dinner. I have heard a lot of good things about chubby cattle but never experienced it. We joined the waitlist two hours prior to dining and the time frame worked out. After checking in, we waited another 5 mins before getting seated. Our server Moses was friendly and informative of how the whole dining experience goes. The limited dining time definitely creates some anxiety but it did not affect the amount of food we could devour. Touchscreen ordering was responsive and the left hand corner timer was helpful to check when we could order and how much time we had left. I was impressed by their selection of drinks: hot teas, milk teas, slushies and soda bar. The condiment bar was small but had all the pertinent ingredients. Nice selection of fruits and a great hot food bar area and lastly desserts. Again, I missed out on more than a few things because I enjoyed the A5 meat way too much. We got the gold tier and it was phenomenal. The server cooks the fancy meat and we cook the rest. A5 was just melt in your mouth delicious. Loved the grill grates but must keep a close eye to prevent over cooking the meat. My husband also loved the plate meat. He said it was also super tender and flavorful. The dipping sauce is the bomb. Salmon sashimi fresh. wagyu foi gras. I like my meat a bit more cooked so I put it on the grill for a few seconds and greatly enjoyed it. The hand rolls were good too. Tom yum soup was nice and spicy. Loved it. The overall meat delivery and server check in was very good. Moses also came over to cook for us a few times which was nice. Before we visited, we told ourselves there is absolutely no need to join the chubby club. Well, one meal in, we felt very different and decided to join. Looks like we will be coming back to enjoy this very, very soon. Thank you, Moses for a great dining service! Cheers to the founder David! You really brought the amazing high end Asian buffet concept to the states. Your group truly put in a lot of research into an easy to navigate ordering platform, the selection of food and beverages to the top tier quality of meats and seafood!     Came here to try the Chubby Cattle BBQ Cerritos location after visiting a few of their other spots, and I was curious how this one would be. From what I've noticed, most locations in this chain are pretty consistent when it comes to quality and service. The food here is really fresh. The meats were good quality, and I also really liked the hot and kitchen items. There's a good variety, so it doesn't feel repetitive even if you come back. The vibe is fun and casual, and the space feels cozy even though it's not too big. Staff were friendly and attentive, and big thanks to our server, Ranier , he made the whole experience more fun and memorable. I could even call him right from my table, which was super convenient. One thing I really like about this location is how convenient it is. You can join the Yelp waitlist when you're still about 2-3 miles away, which gives you more flexibility and saves time. I haven't really seen that at other locations, so it's a nice plus here. Also, there were plenty of parking spots right in front when I came I'd come back again when I'm in the area.

    First time trying out this location. This location is smaller than the Rowland Height location. The self service bar is also a lot smaller. We got the silver tier to try. The meat selection is the same as the other locations but I have to say the meat tasted a lot better at this location. The meat plates are more flavorful and tender. I am glad this location is closer for us to come back again. Service was excellent. Neil served us tonight and he was attentive. He made sure we received all of our dishes thru out the night. The milk tea here is better too. Not as water down like the one at the RH location. Super easy to find parking here. Definitely will come back again.

    I'm a member of the chubby group and have tried a few of their restaurants. Came here with the hubby for a late lunch early dinner and we were both left unimpressed. Service was efficient and attentive. All the servers were friendly and approachable. The Chubby group has their formula down. Almost Starbucks like, the put enough design effort to elevate the interiors to enhance the dining experience. Asian enough without being gaudy. We've tried all three tiers of their meat levels and this time we settled for the silver as we didn't silver and gold when we've visited their shabu places. Perhaps we should have stuck to the highest level of meat. Earlier in the year we went to the little Tokyo location and truly loved it. Don't get me wrong ñ, everything was good and delicious, just not as delicious as the little Tokyo location. I'll definitely keep in mind that the higher level of meat does make a difference. The Argentinian red shrimp were massive and delicious and unfortunately decided to try it out towards the end. Theres a whole drink station with milk teas, slushes and sodas. Another station with some desserts and veggies. It's worth the price, more so if you are a member.

    Second time in this month, all my feeling are the same as the first visit Except Moses was our sever today. He was excellent and made time to cook the specialty meat as well as a few other items for us when time allowed. His attitude made our visit that much better and made us feel good about being part of the chubby club

    Great quality meat even better service. We came right at opening on a Sunday and there was already a line 20 people deep. Our server was Daryl and he was super on top of our table. He would notice when we were struggling to cook the meat and jump in and help us out. The salmon and yellowtail carpaccio ... probably the best quality fish I've ever had at an AYCE restaurant. The brisket... melts in your mouth. It's pre marinated or seasoned so while you have the options for sauces I don't think it's necessary. This place always hits and I'm always surprised at how amazing the quality is every time

    Took my best friend out to Chubby Cattle for the first time, and we had a blast. Charlie took great care of us! I've been coming here for almost a year now, and I have to say Charlie is one of the fastest servers when it comes to cooking the speciality meats. He explained the menu really well, and even pre-bussed our tables a bunch of times. Our table was always picture ready! Definitely loved the music today. Lots of Sabrina Carpenter!

    How much is for 4 people?

    It would be nice if people actually look at the menu photos, otherwise, what is the point of everyone taking photos of the menu?

    Are 1-year olds free?

    It goes by height, 100cm and under is free, 101-130cm is 50%, 131cm+ is full price.

    Solo dining allow?

    Absolutely!

    Is Chubby Tea Cerritos open yet?

    Yes.

    Can you make a reservation?

    They currently do not take reservations unless you own the Chubby Club NFT (24 hours advanced notice).

    Do you have to cook your own food?

    If you select a menu tier with specialty meat options, your server will cook those for you (usually 1-2 pieces per person), but otherwise, yes, you cook you own meat.

    The three tiers are approximately $55/$65/$75 without the member discount.

    Do you have an option for introverted people who would rather grill their own meats?

    You grill your own meats for the most part. The only meats the server grills for you are the 1-2 pieces of premium meat that you might get depending on what menu tier you choose.

    You have to join the waitlist in person, or you can place reservations (24+ hours in advance) if you own a Chubby Club NFT.

    What time do they REALLY open on Saturdays?

    5 pm. Suggest to arrive between 4-4:30 pm to get in early cause the line is out the door...

    Can we make a reservation?

    They do not take reservations. You will have to show up on the spot and wait list yourself.

    Are there a la carte options? Or do I have to get one of the tiered options even though I'm not into beef? (The rest of my family is)

    I'm not completely sure if there are, but if you're not into beef there's plenty of sushi options and chicken.

    Is there reservations?

    When you walk to the entrance you have to sign in and its usually a very long wait but i think its worth it. I dont think you can do reservations at the cerritos location.

Though there's seating inside, all orders are packed in to-go foam boxes. I'm a bit environmentally conscious so I hope they change this for dine-in customers. Use simple plates, trays, and utensils that you can easily clean in a dishwasher. My favorite items I would order again are the lomi, beef ribs, and fried tuna collard greens. My least favorite was the pork bbq. It was chewy. They should use a more tender part of the meat The java rice that comes with all combos was tasty; however when I eat something saucy bbq, I prefer plain white rice to balance out the thick sweet flavors. To the miserable server there, you should QUIT because your crappy attitude is stinking up the reviews of this place!
