So yummy!! if you get a chance to sit in Tri's area you will be happily pleased with the service and attentiveness he showed. Super energetic and super nice. Thank you Tri for making this experience fun The meat selection was good. get the beef tongue cuz they goes fast!! lol

This place is going to replace all Kbbq places in the future. The only things I would add would be a larger dessert menu but this place was awesome!! You go up and grab what you want both hot and raw items. The cooler the meats are kept in are super chilled. Hot section: Big udon noodles, fried rice, tempura shrimp French fries There's a dim sum and dumpling section There's Japanese curry if you want curry There's a sushi and sashimi section There's a soda station There's a section that had wagyu burgers There's a sauce and condiments station The sauce for the bbq at the table is delicious!! Member pricing vs non member pricing - at this specific location if you're a member you can get non member discount pricing for up to 4 other people - so $34.99 after member discount for lunch pricing Definitely come hungry!! Our server was really nice, the location isn't that large so I assume it gets busy for dinner. When we went it wasn't too busy, more of a casual setting. And they sing for birthdays so it may get loud at times. Parking: There's a small lot directly behind the building and then a medium sized lot adjacent to the building and then there's a parking structure near by as well so plenty of parking options if one or both of the lots are full.

We came here for lunch. First off our host Cici was very kind and helpful. Stanley our server was also very friendly and quick too. We have been to multiple chubby group spots, most notably chubby cattle. Given the lunch discount and the format, we like this one the most. At 34.99 it was reasonable and we enjoyed being able to choose our meat selection and portion. Being that it's not that expensive we're not pressured to eat as much as we can either. Overall 5/5 and this is probably our favorite chubby club spot. *note that the lobster roll and galbi is not available during lunch.

I've tried majority of the Chubby Group restaurants and had tried the Wagyu Factory in Tustin for the hot pot, so I was really curious how the bbq version would be. I love Chubby Cattle but the price point is a bit steep so hearing that this was a more affordable option, I was ready to try it! What's great about this location is that everything is self serve. No waiting on your servers or flagging them down to bring your meats, it's all at the self serve stations! They have a variety of hot foods, fried foods, sushi, desserts, soft drinks and of course the meat station. The meat were lower quality than Chubby, but I already expected that, so it wasn't a surprise to me. We went on a Saturday night around 5pm and only had to wait for about 10 minutes. It was a good time because everything at the self serve stations were pretty well replenished at all times. We loved the vegetables, especially the zucchini and the mushrooms. Not sure how it's marinated but it tastes so delicious on the grill. Be careful to not burn them though! My friends loved the wagyu burger and I thought it was decent, a little dry for me though. I liked the lobster roll though, good amounts of lobster! Tri was our server, and he was absolutely fantastic! Not only did he give us the pro tip of using wasabi on the wagyu with the salt (try it, it's sooo good!!) but he was very efficient in cleaning up the empty plates and changing our grill! The only con was really the sushi bar which I was really looking forward to. The rice on the salmon nigiri was unfortunately not cooked all the way. Other than that, we had a great experience and luckily with the Chubby Plus discount, cost-wise, it wasn't too bad! Would come back again when I'm in the area!

All you can eat heaven! Variety of wagyu meats, pork belly, seafood, sushi, hot pot, and hot food selections. Everything was so good! We enjoyed so much meat, I was happy to see how much different selections they offer. They also offer unique items such as wagyu burgers, lobster rolls, and corned cheese to grill. Not to mention a selection of fried foods, noodles, curry, and dumplings! The place gets busy! We came at 6 on a Saturday night, and there was already a lengthy waitlist. It went by quicker than expected. They have a 90 minute policy, so the wait goes pretty quick. We came to celebrate a friend's birthday and they really delivered on serenading her! We will never forget the great experience here. I wish we caught our server's name, but he is the one leading the song on the video. Thank you for a memorable celebration!

Had an awesome experience at Wagyu Factory today during late lunch. The wait was super reasonable, about 15 minutes as a walk up, and I liked how easy it was to check in on Yelp ahead of time. The food selection is really solid across the board. From veggies and meats to snacks and soups and stews, everything was fresh and hit the spot. If you're looking for something similar to Chubby Cattle but without the chaos and at a great price for Wagyu, this is definitely the move. I also want to give a huge shoutout to our server Tri. Even though it's a self serve style restaurant, he stayed on top of everything, constantly changing out our grill and making sure we were good the entire time. He even made a custom spicy sauce for me that took everything to the next level. It's his own secret recipe, so I guess we've got a great reason to come back. I'd also recommend joining their club membership too. After just a couple visits, the amount we've saved already paid for it. Definitely coming back.

My bf and I saw the sign that they were going to open something that looked like kbbq and have been anxiously waiting for it to open since we miss Gyu kaku being here. They have a very modern and unique ambiance which is family friendly but also like a bar vibe. It is loud and it can be crowded as most kbbqs. For the food, let me start by saying that it is not the best meat quality, for sure not Wagyu. Some meats were gamey specially the Australian lean meat there meats were on the tougher side. We definitely didn't like the soup dumplings. I only ate one. They were just not what i expected and the flavour not my type. On the flip side, the hot bar was really good! Takoyaki, lobster dumpling, fried rice, the sushi was good with seared salmon, and the veggie shumai were some of our favorites. For the meats they did have some that were ok, but wouldn't come back just for the meats. I think this is a fun place that has a wide variety of food options. For the price, it is ok but if you want better kbbq you can find in that same price range.

Had dinner with my girlfriend at the newly opened wagyu factory in downtown brea. Wagyu factory is part of the chubby group of restaurants which have various menu options at different locations. Walk in only for the time being. The wait was expected to be 44 to 59 minutes when we arrived just before 6 on a Friday evening. We were seated in under half an hour. Elvis was our server, he was terrific, guiding us through the experience and even cooked the first round for us. Elvis was attentive without being intrusive. He took excellent care of us throughout dinner. Encouraged my girlfriend to download the chubby app to start earning points on tonight's dinner. Lots of wagyu meat offerings, sushi rolls and nigiri. shrimp, chicken, pork, and veggies as well. It's AYCE so go back as many times as you want within the 90 minutes. We'll definitely return, good food fantastic service from Elvis, and reasonable prices.

Came to Wagyu Factory to try the Chubby Groups more affordable restaurant. For lunch it is $40 but $35 if you are a member. Everything here is self service so once you sit down you can go check out their hot bar, meats, sushi, dessert and drink selections. They had about 10 options for the hot bar, 20 yakiniku options and 10 options for their sushi. I mainly tried their different cuts of beef. I did prefer their thinner cuts such as the beef tongue and short ribs. They were tender if you don't grill them for too long. The thicker and bigger pieces of meat were on the chewier side. But this isn't Chubby Cattle and you get what you paid for. It is still good but I also can't compare it to their big brother. The sushi here was good. They were constantly making new rolls and nigiri because people kept on getting plates of sushi. The salmon was fresh and buttery. The tofu pocket sushi had lots of tuna on top and was my favorite out of everything. The wagyu burger was another on my favorite. The patty was juicy and the spread inside was oozing out. They had the same burger at Wagyu Master that I enjoyed last time as well. Our server came around every so often to change the wired grill and pull the plates. They have a 100 minute dining experience so it was just the right amount of time. They are located in downtown Brea so if you cross the street there is a nice area to walk around after your meal.

I am happy that there is a chubby cattle co establishment near me now! If I had to describe it, Wagyu factory is kind of the faster, more casual and less fancy version of chubby cattle restaurants. The wait wasn't too bad at 5:30 on a weekend (less than an hour) for our group of 5. We were immediately greeted by a friendly server. I forgot his name but he was very cheerful and explained the process well. Throughout our meal he was very attentive and was proactive about picking up the plates. I like that the place is no fuss and you basically grab whatever meats you'd like and as much as you like without waiting for it to arrive. I kind of prefer this option because you get to eat right away instead of waiting for them to bring the meats to you. It was protein heaven! They had a variety of side dishes and even curry, tacos, sushi, etc. There was a lot of options for kids as well. The space itself is a bit tight and claustrophobic so keep that in mind if you have a larger party. There is limited parking in the back. Best advice is to park across the street at the structure.

I truly enjoyed celebrating my early birthday dinner with my boyfriend at the Wagyu Factory! It was a fun dining experience - all thanks to our server, Tri. The cuts of wagyu were so rich and tender, we loved dipping it in the fresh wasabi (new food hack unlocked!) At the Wagyu Factory, it's mainly self-serve. You can grab all the meat you like from one side of the restaurant. I enjoyed the variety of appetizers and side dishes that were available, I especially loved the sushi! I always love ending my meal with some soft serve ice cream, we were able to make ourselves some floats from their soda machine. The egg tarts were also super crispy and buttery! My experience here did not disappoint, and I would love to continue trying other chain restaurants under the Chubby Cattle group!

Went for early dinner tonight (Thursday) around 545 and luckily there wasn't a big wait. Wish I could've written a better review for this place as social media had boasted about it but it didn't quite live up to standards. Although our server Thomas was super friendly, attentive and informative the food was not so "Wagyu" level. For $49.50 pp, I was expecting the meat quality to live up to its name. I'd say it was a little overpriced for what was offered. Most of the meats were kind of tough. Of all the beef we got, there was only about 2 of them that were tender, which was more of a brisket type of cut. The thicker meats were not so much. The veggie bar was good, a variety of veggies you can dip in the sauces. The hot foods I didn't bother to get but I'm sure it's great for little kids. Other than that, hope they do well as it looks as though they're getting busier each time I drive by.

Awesome server! Friendly, helpful and attentive!

My family and friends had a nice experience at this restaurant, largely thanks to our server Thomas. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, attentive, and friendly -- checking in at just the right moments without ever feeling intrusive. He gave helpful tips to achieve certain tastes in foods. The ambiance was a highlight in itself. The décor was tasteful and immersive, creating an inviting atmosphere that really set the mood for the meal. Definitely made my daughter intrigued to come here in the first place. As for the food, it was quite decent -- most of the meats were enjoyable like the beef cubes except the gamey tasting ones like the top blade cut. Nothing that blew us away, but solid and enjoyable overall. Just wished most of the food were all prepared when we sat down and the timer started. Some items we still had to wait for like the rice, dumplings, and the beef cubes took awhile to replenish. The beef stew and egg tarts were good though. Curry was okay. Cheese corn was okay as well, on the sweet side but not bad. They had kid friendly items such as fries, shrimp tempura, fried rice and udon noodles. However, I wish they had better drink options, like milk tea or other tea/fruity drinks. All in all, a good dining experience. Thomas truly elevated the visit with his hospitality, and we'd happily return.

I am a little confused on children's pricing and would love clarification. Do children only qualify based on certain height requirements? That seems unfair and discriminatory towards taller children.

How is the king crab cooked? Also, is it on the buffet area or you order in the ipad? And is it extra charge?

You cook everything at your table grill like a kbbq. The sushi, rice, noodles and burgers are cooked as part of the buffet. Everything else is cooked by you at the table

How is parking?

There's limited parking behind the restaurant but there's free public parking garage across the street

Is the menu here the same as the Lake Forest/ El Toro Rd one's?

I think it's different, this is an entirely self service location unless you pay for a5 Wagyu brisket (order from server). But it is an ayce bbq experience.

One of my favorite ways to order it is the Austin Midnight brisket sandwich, which is absolutely incredible. My personal go-to though is the Carolina Sandwich -- pulled pork, topped with homemade coleslaw on a brioche bun. Every Bite is amazing! The coleslaw is outstanding and balances the pulled pork perfectly. Honestly, all of the meats here are fantastic. The chicken is juicy and flavorful, and the house links have such a great balance of flavor with a little bit of heat. The sides are just as memorable. The mac and cheese is as creamy as it gets, the beans have incredible flavor, and the cornbread with green chiles is so delicious. But the potato salad is a must. They all decided that we're taking Lucille's out of our family dinner list. We usually frequent Lucille's since my son loves bbq ribs and we'd come here for a celebration. Like for this Tuesday evening we came to celebrate my bro in law n my son's bday. Duo celebration. If you look at my review from 4 years ago, 5 stars and i haven't updated since because it's usually been pretty good each time returning that there was no need to update it. But this experience we had this past week was really bad that we've decided that we likely will be stop coming to our local Lucille's. Read other reviews on here that aren't left a while back and looks like they've also mention how Lucille's quality along as service has gone down tremendously a lot. When we were seated, we didn't get any assistance from a server til 10 mins plus. We had to ask the associate that was wiping down tables if he was covering our area to get some assistance. He informed us that our server should be right over. Our fountain drinks that we ordered Sprite, Dr Pepper and sweet tea tasted off. There was barely any carbonation nor did the sweet tea had any sweetening to the tea we loved here. We informed our server and she told the manager gal. The manager came and spoke to us 5 mins later and confirmed to us she noticed the fountain drinks were off and was having an associate replace the fountain drinks machine but meanwhile offered if we can get another drink in the time being without no charge so we may enjoy something with our meals. We took the offer n got a strawberry lemonade along w a peach lemonade also while waiting for the replacement soda. My kids weren't too much of a fan of lemonade but tried their best to enjoy the lemonade. About 20 mins to half n hour later. The manager did see us and came back to ask how our replacement soda tasted and we informed her we never got our replacement soda. She let an associate know and we finally got our replacement soda. But by then, we were about done w our meals and was pretty full. Ask an associate that is now no longer our original server but a server that was just bringing our food and drinks to us. A to go cup so we can just take our replacement soda to go. We never got out to go cup. Either they were short staffed that evening or associates just wasn't happy being there. Because when we asked for Togo containers too. It took some time to get it. Please Lucille's management, if you see this review. Look into your staffs. The restaurant is clean it's just there are some etiquettes that need to be going over. A BIG HUGE READ FLAG. Why would an associate be SWEEPING RIGHT NEXT TO A TABLE THAT IS CURRENTLY TRYING TO ENJOY THEIR DINNER. Where do you think sweeping the floor. The dust particles up in the air would go to. It'll be flying around where we are digesting our food. This is something no one would enjoy seeing when eating. Not sure if the associate didn't have a clue regards to this. ITS POOR HYGIENE for a restaurant industry. I was feeling under the weather along there was no upper management nor much associate to even let them know what we were dealing with. With all of the ordeal and mishap. If you look at my review b4 this. We've got a complimentary bday celebration dessert but this time. We just wanted to be done. Didn't even bother doing our annual bday celebration there that my son enjoys with his uncle for their bday celebration tradition. We still left a 16% tip because we know how things are with possibly server just being low staffed. Because we saw our original server Alyssa at the end b4 leaving the restaurant. She was able to give us a set of Togo boxes. Told us she apologized she couldn't continue serving us because she had a bigger party of 15 to attend to. That would've been great to know b4 she left our table to serve the other table so we weren't turning our head constantly trying to find any service from anyone. We just decided to pay on the tablet. By than didn't want to deal with anyone and wanted to leave asap. Since that was the only service that can help us pay for our bill. Please LUCILLES...DO BETTER!

It turned out to be a great choice. The prices are very reasonable and food was excellent. The brisket was extremely tender and the tangy bbq sauce on the side was great. The Texas Toast was buttery and just the right thickness. Their brisket quesadilla was also quite appetizing and the portion was generous. We'll definitely consider coming back the next time we have another optometrist appointment in the area. The restaurant is located in a large strip mall that's quite busy but there is a lot of parking so no problems there. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself was very clean. They have a patio area next door if you want to take advantage of a sunny day. A good choice if you're in the area.

I'm surprised that this place specializes in brisket but does not have a basic brisket sandwich on the menu. They do have a brisket grilled cheese but that wasn't what we were going for. I even asked if we could get the brisket grilled cheese without the cheese, but apparently they don't do that.... Make it make sense... Why do you care if I have the cheese on it or not. I don't understand how you have brisket tacos, brisket quesadilla but don't have a basic brisket sandwich? Seems odd. In the end it didn't really matter because the brisket was terrible anyways. It was definitely not fresh (a dead giveaway was it was about 50% cold and 50% lightly warmed) pretty good indication that it came out of the refrigerator. It was also very dry and when I say "fell apart" it was more like crumbled apart. The one positive though was the mac & cheese! It was out of this world delicious, over the top amazing probably the best mac & cheese I've ever had. It was piping hot and cooked perfectly! I feel like it must've been a very off night for this restaurant, based on the majority of their reviews, I had very high expectations that it would be amazing. I was kind of bummed that it fell very short of amazing.
