We came here because we had time to kill before the Nats vs Phillies afternoon game! Seems more like a tourist trap, but it's definitely waaay healthier than ballpark food for sure!!! You pick your choice of salads and they mix it up and chop it up right in front of you!!! Fun, right!! But the price isn't so much because anything on top of what the salad comes with will cost you extra!!! Two salads (Kale Caesar, and the American Road Trip Destination Salad Of Cape Cod Shrimp Roll, $22 in damage, and with full bellies, we ventured to the baseball game, water bottles we brought from homehand, and all is well!!! read more

Ugh, I came here because it was getting too haute outside...I initially went to Shake Shack on M St, across from my office but doors were closed. Realized now after google search SS moved to the other side of the Nats stadium, ugh, and no one bothered to tell me. Lol, to be fair, I'm not the super fan of SS, hubby is so when I was on the phone with him just before lunch- he declared if he worked in my area héd go to SS. So, I thought, sure i'd get a single...now, i feel like a dummy. And because temp was not as agreeable and after going around a couple of blocks I end up here where it is lined up with bars & restaurant...in conclusion, I stopped in at this Chop't and I actually liked my salad today plus good staff compelled me to fork out 4 stars! It's not Seattlés Evergreens but hey...close. Besides, Clean seating area was a nice refuge from edging sweltering heat!!! Still would appreciate fountain drinks cups vs bottled or cartoned juices so of course, a 4! read more

This is supposed to be the seasonal Summer Corn Caesar salad with heavy dressing... where are the toppings? I had to dig through the entire bowl to find the few chunks of chicken I received. No corn, jalapeño, or croutons to be found. I probably won't be back. read more

This company has changed a lot in the past 10-15 years. They used to have healthy portions and focuses on quality salad ingredients. They have changed to a more inclusive menu of a lot of things. Now I don't feel like the quality is there. Employees were very bland and didn't seem to want to be there. Grab and go kinda place, no real seating. Plenty of other healthy fast places to eat at. read more

On my recent visit, I decided to try their Mexican Caesar salad. Following Estrella's recommendation, I added fresh cucumber and avocado. They have an impressive variety of toppings. I placed a delivery order. This was my first time having Chopt. Being as though all they do is salad and I looooove a good Cobb salad. My expectations were high. The salad is nice in size. The price is good for the amount you get. Delivery service was fine. What I didn't like was the fact my salad had avocado inside! I hate avocado and it didn't specify this item was in the salad when I was ordering online. (Or maybe I looked too fast??) and I like to add my own fessing in my salad, sometimes people can be too heavy on the dressing. However the dressing ration was fine. I think you might can tell them to add the dressing in the side? Next time I know. I will def order again read more

Completely wrong salad. Livid! I just knew they wasn't going to mess it up as I have ordered in person a few times. Do not order via app because the amount of care going into the salad is not the same. Missing most of the ingredients that I paid for and the salad is completely soggy. I asked for the dressing on the side. Nope. read more

Edit: I knocked this down a star. The DM from the company mentioned the layers of management that would be looking into why their high quality standards weren't upheld. MONEY. IT'S MONEY. People don't come to work at a fast casual salad restaurant for the love of salad. They work there because it's easy or convenient or they couldn't find better work. Pay them more money and watch your quality standards get upheld every time because no one wants to lose a good paying job over a few apple slices. Like I said in my DM response: do better. Is this a joke? I ordered a Sweet Apple Orchard Salad. What I got was a bowl of 95% lettuce, 0% apples, a pinch of cheese and about half filled shot glass container of dressing. This came at the price of $13. I am also a sucker for paying $3 for a single chocolate chip cookie. Silly me. I thought I'd get a decent sized cookie. Nope. What really upsets me is that I was charged a $2.41 service fee for this on top of the tip I left and a delivery fee. Hey, Chopt. How about you pay your employees appropriately instead of making your customers cover the difference? Maybe if you paid them better they'd care enough not to leave the main ingredient out of the dish. I won't be back. read more

I come here once a week or at LEAST 4-5 times a month on average and they are always consistent. I might add that all of my orders are in person and the only time my order isn't perfect is when I send someone else to pick up or place my order so there's that. The customer service is always welcoming and the food is consistently fresh. I really can't tell the difference in the quality between this and other CHOPTs. The ONLYYYYYY thing I don't like about this location is that their water/drink fountain has been broke for MONTHS if not the last 2 years or at least for me. It's always either "out of order" or just not working. For that they get 4 stars. read more

I don't think I've ever been disappointed in a SALAD! My first time going and I got the Kale Caesar salad. No extras, I'm good on what it comes with. EXCEPT! I asked the lady if I could have "warm chicken", she said yes!! So when it was time to pay she said $13.50, I looked at the menu, and stated that the price says $8.99, she said "well you got roasted chicken". I'm like, huh, I asked for warm chicken. She just stared at me, Smh! Now, the salad had no taste!! This 'roasted chicken" that I paid for taste like bland chicken and the dressing didn't have a Caesar taste at all. Not to mention, for $13 y'all should have filled that container up!!! read more

I have constantly been disappointed by this place. Two times I have used the app to order a salad and both times they failed to give me all of the ingredients in my order. Today I ordered the crispy chicken ranch salad with avocado and several other additions to which I paid extra for (you can see in the image) and they ignored my order and gave me the basic salad. Chopt is a good choice for fast salad, but sometimes it's not fast enough. I think the staff here struggles because they don't have enough people to handle the orders. The volume of customers is lighter, so that may be why. Still, if you're near Nats Park, this is a good salad choice with menu items that are seasonal and classic, as well as make your own bowls for a decent price. They mark if items are vegan. The dressings are alright, but the Mexican Goddess is the best and makes it all worth it. There is not as much seating as one might think for this location, but you can still find a seat if you come at the right time. Also, I felt the items here are not kept as tidy in their independent containers on the bar. It looks it, but also, this untidy nature unfolded as true when some vegetable items I didn't order showed up in my salad. For those with serious allergies, definitely avoid this place. Admittedly, if I were right by Nats Park and was hungry, I'd still go here. The food is fresh but standard salad. read more

I came here shortly before closing one night and got the Texas Po' Boy, which I would relabel the Blandest Salad in All the Land. It was just lacking flavor in most any regard. I've been wanting to try Chopt for awhile but because I live in Maryland, the opportunity rarely presents itself. However, today I had an appointment within one block of Chopt so I decided to give it a try. I'd like to note that this location was clean and the bathroom was in great shape. They didn't have an issue with my service dog and they treated us fairly. The salad I got was the Classic Cobb and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was flavorful and I appreciated the fact that I could change anything on the menu with ease. I recommend Chopt. read more

I've been to a couple other Chopt locations, but this one is my favorite by far! The location is relatively new, had enough seating, looks nice inside, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. When they stopped carrying my favorite dressing, the staff made a suggestion based on what they thought I would like that would still have a bit of a kick, while blending nicely with the salad. I've been happy all of the salads I've had here, but my go-to is the Mediterranean Falafel. The blend of veggies, falafel, and cheese with their spicy tahini dressing provides a flavorful lunch or dinner. The celery in the salad as a more in depth flavor, which I appreciate - and I don't usually like celery. The modern look and design make me feel comfortable and add to the welcoming and clean feel! I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention asking for bread with your salad! It's a nice complement to the greens and veggies. read more

I wasn't overly impressed here...I really wanted a salad before the Nationals game and this place is right outside the park. It was clean, the staff friendly, I viewed the menu scurried to the restroom and then made my order. The menu isn't self explanatory in my opinion. They have several salad/wrap choices but they don't make it evident that you can add to those. I ordered the Palm Beach w/shrimp ($12), usually comes with chicken and a hot spicy vinaigrette but opted for the traditional crispy or ceasar. If I had known I could add to things, I'd have added croutons for a little crunch. Took out the tomatoes (although they were delicious) and maybe changed the cheese. The avocado was creamy and the cucumbers were crispy. Clearly fresh ingredients just not clear ordering instructions. The creamy caesar dressing wasn't anything to write home about. As I said my total was about $12 and that's rounding to the nearest dollar. I sat at the bartop in the window and watched the patrons go by. I give it three stars because the menu was unclear and the service was slow but only because of the efficiency they provide but for someone in a hurry, you may want to call your order in. BTW this is my 200th review!! Heyyyy read more

I am utterly disgusted with today's order. My COBB salad sans the bacon came WILTED!!! (always get your dressing on the side) The container was not full (3/4), the avocado was halved & HARD.. Like What the what!?! You didn't know when you were preparing the salad that the lettuce should've been discarded!? Or that the cherry tomatoes were mushy? One look at the salad and my stomach dropped!!! Like, really!? I don't know who you all have working their but for the love of all things considered First World Problems- RETRAIN THEM!!! Have you all not read the reviews!? C'mon.. Luckily, DoorDash gave me a full refund. I thought to myself, it's Sunday and today's morning devotional came from Proverbs 15:1 KJV (A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. Which is why I was extremely nice to the DD customer service agent. Moral: Always trust your GUT! Isn't that what Olivia Pope says? And my gut emptied at the sight of the salad. Which is why I went with my first GUT instinct and purchased Ramen from another place. I am eating it I as I type the review. IT IS DELICIOUS!!! This place needs to sell franchises because I would love to open one up in Tennessee. They have a small menu but it is loaded with flavor. I hate to write this review, but I owe it to fellow Yelpers. Really nothing but terrible experiences at this shop. Understaffed, poorly managed, poorly stocked, tired "fresh" under stocked, sometimes nasty-looking ingredients, and really usually quite filthy. If you time it right, you might luck out and end up with an OK meal, but as a regular I've become ill after several meals here. You would have thought I would have learned my lesson, but carbs are the enemy and salads are our miserable friends . . . However, after tonight's attempt to get a salad made the way I ordered it with Jade, Destiny, . . . I've had enough. it's just not worth the risk or headache. I honestly was a little fussy that the Hampton Inn and Suites next door didn't have a restaurant open on a rainy day. The front desk staff said to walk next door to this new Chopt. I am SO GLAD. The interior is bright and clean. I ordered the Mexican chicken soup-which was to DIE for-full of tomatillo and just the right amount of heat. Should have ordered a bowl.
