I met a work colleague here for lunch on a sunny Friday afternoon. The restaurant itself was beautiful and spacious inside, with many options to sit inside or on the enclosed patio. Then he disappeared. This would have been a 5-star experience if we had a better waiter. The steak was really good. I asked for it medium and it was half medium well, but it was still good. Came here on a Sunday for brunch. We were the only ones in there for a while, but by the time we left, it started to pick up. Ana and Evan took care of us and they were both super friendly. There are some good options on the menu and the prices are fair. You can choose the food buffet option for $38 which comes with a full entree as well. For about $20 more, you can add unlimited mimosas. For the Wharf, you can't really beat those prices. The buffet is pretty standard...eggs, grits, potatoes, bacon and turkey sausage. The fact that you can choose a full entree as well makes it more than worth the price. But, if you're not super hungry, a regular entree is more than enough. To note, If one person orders the buffet, the whole table must get it as well. I ordered the shrimp and grits and they were pretty good. Easy Company Brunch Review: For $36 you can enjoy their bottomless brunch, which also comes with an entrée from the brunch menu! This is such a great deal for a DC brunch at the Warf. I thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and grits (delicious) and having access to the buffet was a nice bonus. The items on the buffet were OK... They had fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon (not crispy enough for my liking) biscuits (too dry) French toast, sausage etc... They also have a bottomless drink deal for those that want a boozy brunch experience. ( $34 ). They gave us cute little glasses of warm cider at the end of our meal and our server was pretty nice. I've heard great things about the brunch at Easy Company so I was happy to finally go. I dined in the patio area and the view was beautiful but the stools at the tall tables were uncomfortable. For the brunch, you get to order one entree then have unlimited access to the buffet area where there's pastries, eggs, potatoes, bagels, bacon, sausage, and more. For and additional fee, you can also get bottomless mimosas in orange, cranberry, and pineapple flavors. I ordered the shrimp and grits as my entree and it was really good. Some of my buffet favorites were the potatoes, bacon, and blueberry muffin. The mimosas were great too and had a good juice to champagne ratio. I also tried one of their flight options but I wasn't really a fan of any of them. Brunch was supposed to be over at 2:30 pm but it went on longer and we weren't rushed to leave. Stopped by easy company for a cold glass of wine and nice bathroom on the wharf. We were two of six people at the. We sat st 2pm Saturday and it still took almost 10 minutes for someone to take our order. Wine was $12-15 for average wine and $16 for sangria. The sangria tasted like it was made with the bulk gallons of OJ they were using for bottomless brunch mixed with cheap wine. It looked like they were using ocean spray for the other brunch cocktails. It would be okay with better judgement and better customer service. I came in today, March 9 (great weather day) and am local to the wharf. I asked "if you have anything outside, that would be great". Key word was "if". There were so many open tables at the opening to the patio and I said that's fine. I suggested the seat near the opening to the outside was okay I told the server (her English wasn't the best). Instead of providing service, the bartender (who seemed to have some authority over the server), chimed in to add no value -- only confusion in a less than friendly way. His voice wasn't necessary (in my opinion and certainly not needed in that tone). Today the patio was fuller than it has been lately (I am local) but the place was empty on the inside (even by those patio doors). I've eaten there before (the food is average so keep that in mind). I was only going for happy hour that goes until 6 and visit all these restaurants at the wharf often. One or two visits in my life time are plenty at this restaurant I now believe. I can move onward. Needless to say I left today without spending any money and happy to take my dollars elsewhere. This was likely a miscommunication but it left a sour taste and there are too many options to go anywhere at the wharf that doesn't try to do better. read more

I went with the frozen margarita and my friend had the frosé. Both were refreshing and well made, perfect for a warm day by the water. The service was solid. Our waiter was patient and attentive even though we didn't order food. He still brought out their complimentary popsicles which was a nice and unexpected touch to finish our visit. We sat at a high top table outside with a view of the water. The location is great for people watching and relaxing near the wharf. One thing I want to note is that the chairs at the high top felt a little flimsy to me as a plus size person. It didn't ruin the experience but it's something I would keep in mind for future visits. I am not sure if the lower tables use the same chairs or not. I noticed they offer a buffet for brunch which might be worth checking out next time. I have mixed feelings about this place. The first time we came, we were in a large group and the hostess and server were all really lovely. I had a really filling pasta and their spritz was really good. However, the second time I came, my friends and I were popping in for a quick drink at the bar. We ended up all going to the bathroom first and since one of my friends had a date coming up, we were debating if we stay (e.g., and ask her date to come meet us), if we just stay for a quick drink ourselves, or if we leave. The hostess came up to us while we were waiting for the bathroom and I felt that she was being rude, in a way that felt like she publicly berating us when saying there was no public bathroom. I tried to calmly respond saying we were planning to get a drink at the bar after. We took some shots at the bar after and did end up meeting our friend's date for a little there but the whole experience left a terrible taste in my mouth. It's completely valid for an establishment to say there are no public bathrooms but not only did we not see a sign stating that (if there was one, we weren't notified when we entered), but we also genuinely were planning on a drink at the bar and debating our next steps for the day. Fabulous place for brunch and I can't wait to come back! They do a bottomless option for just food, just drinks, or both. My table did both and think their bottomless food option is a great deal. You get one entree and included is the buffet which is eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fruit, and biscuits. The buffet is a full meal in itself and is delicious! They technically have al la carte brunch options but the plates on their own are pricey so it's a better deal to do the bottomless food option. The a la carte options also seemed to only be for lunch entrees which was a little confusing. Bottomless mimosas on their own are about $30 which seems to be the standard price now. You only need 3 to make it worth the cost but honestly it wasn't worth it for me. Skip the bottomless drinks and do one cocktail instead. For my brunch entree I had pancakes which were no lie some of the best pancakes I've had!! They are thiner and denser like a crepe but still super spongy and decadent -- a great classic girddle pancake like you'd get at a diner. Loved them! Our server was lovely and aestetic of the place is super cute and not too loud, plus a great music soundtrack. Service all around was great and friendly and attentive. The only negative is that for whatever reason they had their windows open in February so it was freezing!!! Many had their winters coats on. I'm going to assume it's not usually like that. If you're looking for a cute brunch spot with a view with a lot of variety, this may be your spot. Booked reservations for noon on a Saturday because we were afraid they'd be packed, but they definitely had enough seats/tables to accommodate walkups. Now that I remember, I've actually stopped by this stop after a concert at the Anthem and enjoyed late-night bites with friends. Most of this review will focus on my most recent brunch experience. Ambiance: This restaurant is expansive, but not overwhelming. It's situated right on the Potomac, so you get really nice views of the water and foliage. I will say, depending on your sit, the sun may be beaming on you because of the floor-to-ceiling windows. There's faux greenery throughout the restaurant, so it's great for photos and videos if that's what you're into. Service: Our server was fantastic; I wished I remembered her name. I asked a handful of questions about the menu and wanted to make modifications to my order. Rather than immediately saying no, she went back to the kitchen to confirm the mod could be made. Turns out I didn't need to do it, because she was able to clarify the ingredients list for me. Also, I always appreciate when management checks in on tables, which their manager did. I even saw him bussing a few tables, which is great to see. Food: This restaurant has a ton of different directions you can take your afternoon if you're here for brunch. The have bottomless food from a buffet-- think American breakfast with biscuits, eggs, breakfast meats, etc. They also have bottomless mimosas or you can get the full bottomless experience and both both bottomless food and mimosas. The also have a full menu with other brunch entrees and non-brunch food. My friend and I opted for a round of apps, non-brunch entrees and bottomless mimosas. We got the crispy Brussel sprouts with bacon jam. The jam was interesting, definitely worth trying but be sure to request it on the side like we did. We also got the calamari, which was good. For entrees, I got the crab cake sandwich with a side of fries. The fries are truly ADDICTIVE and the crab cake was good, especially with the old bay aioli. The crab cake had medium amount of filler and I noticed whole grain mustard in the blend. I didn't hate it, but fit you're looking for a true Maryland crab cake, you'll have to look elsewhere. The star of the show were the mimosas. They were mixed prior to being brought to the table, but were strong-- mostly Prosecco with a healthy splash of mixer. You're also allowed to switch between flavors after each carafe. We stayed for hours and never felt rushed or uncomfortable.
