The Warf is a bustling place with many places to eat however, I'm super glad we stopped in at the Easy Company! This trendy wine bar and brunch spot also serves an amazing dinner service. The interior of the restaurant was cool with open air to the patio which outside was in view of the water from the table. The host and the servers were all incredibly helpful, and very friendly. We were quickly seated without a reservation despite being packed. Our waiter was an amazing resource and helped us navigate the menu. I took full advantage of my final dinner here in DC to make sure that I had a dish with seafood, and enjoyed the Tagliatelle Pasta with Creamy Vodka Sauce. The dish was perfect, the pasta was al dente, the vodka sauce was the right consistency, and the shrimp were tasty and well made. I really enjoyed the meal as well as the atmosphere. At the end of the meal they brought us really cute little popsicles, which I forgot to get a picture of. Overall, the experience was great, the food was quick to come out and despite being very busy, they kept everything moving. Would definitely recommend checking this out and wish I was staying longer so I could check out the brunch. read more

I visited your restaurant yesterday at 6:30 pm. I walked in to use the restroom and was aggressively approached by a young white male employee. The employee asked me if I was a patron and I responded by saying not yet. He said you must be a patron before using the restroom. At that point, I asked to speak to a manager. A black male employee approached me and also aggressively asked me if I were a patron. My response was that you and your staff have not even given me an opportunity to be a patron. I then left the restaurant. Moments later I observed a white male with a yellow shirt walk in the restaurant and headed directly to the restroom without being questioned by your staff. I then returned inside to have a conversation with the manager about this practice of racism. The black male quickly went into a room marked private and slammed the door. He then called the property security. He told the security officer that I was stumbling and going in and out of the restaurant. I approached the security to defend my position. The security issue was resolved and I left the restaurant. On 9.4.25 I contacted the store manager, Matt and he said he was aware of the incident but did not have a comment about it Clear racism at its best. read more

The Easy Company experience was a great experience. The ambiance was very charming and sophisticated. The staff was accommodating. Happy Hour on a Saturday at the Wharf is always a win! A great selection to choose from as well. Food options were fitting for the atmosphere but I would not go here if I was really hungry. Cute ambiance with indoor sitting on a patio with wide open windows on an 77 degree day was perfect! I ordered the seasonal sangria since our server said the frosé machine was broken. It was delicious! Not too sweet! My friend and I split the Caesar salad which was good, but the star of the evening was our prosciutto fig sandwich-- great blend of salty and sweet! We changed our order to come the truffle fries as well-- they were fine. It was super busy last night, so we waited a while for a server as well as our drinks, but the food came out super fast! Stumbled upon this place by walking on the Wharf looking for a lunch spot. It was empty which worked out for my girlfriend and I. The waitress informed us about their menu and really didn't bother us that much after we ordered! We got the brussel sprouts (SUPER GOOD) and fries. Then to our entree their burger and their spicy honey pepperoni pizza (SUPER GOOD) for drinks we ordered a sangria and prosecco rosé! Never heard of prosecco rosé but it was delicious. I went with some work friends for brunch and we loved this place. The food was fresh, healthy and exactly what we needed after eating conference food all week. I had the pancakes with a side of fruit. The ambience of the restaurant is nice with breezes from the wharf and it's decorated in a way that reminds me of the tropics. We stopped in for happy hour, which is M-F from 3-6. Drinks are $10 each during happy hour. We also got the Nutella dip. It's an interesting consistency, as someone who loves Nutella. This is just a tourist trap. We had reservations on a chilly, rainy night so the restaurant was busy but not packed. We were sat at a table way in the back , cramped between 2 other tables. I ask the host if we could get a better table and he ask if we would like the enclosed patio. It was nice so I said yes. He, very rudely said, well you ask for inside on your reservations. Clearly there is a difference from outside, which they do have, and enclosed patio. Then our waiter, an older gentleman, was terrible. The drinks were not good and the food was mediocre. Everyone in my party agreed. I don't mind paying good money for a good meal, but not for bad service and a mediocre meal!!' They were accommodating and had our fried egg fried hard rather than runny so that was great. The fries were really crispy! I take a while to eat and even after they cooled down they were still crispy and really good. I wouldn't recommend the orange mimosa bc we personally felt like it lacked orange juice taste but the pineapple and cranberry flavors were good! I really liked the pineapple! After seeing someone get the pepperoni flatbread we decided to get one to go lol We opted not to do bottomless food bc we weren't in the mood for scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes but a lot of people around us utilized that option. Have been here for both happy hour and dinner and never been disappointed. Better Hospitality group continuously brings top notch product and service , particularly for larger groups. Recently organized a 25 person group on short notice and was able to get an exceptionally nice and private outdoor area (before it got too hot for the summer !) , with fast service and regular menus (other places were forcing us to go with watered down prix fixe). Burgers and rotisserie chicken are my favorites but really can't go wrong with anything, hence the suitability for groups ... This is a really cool wine bar in the Wharf that may be worth the trip! I dislike most of the places in the area because they feel very tourist-centric, but I really liked Easy Company - they have a great happy hour deal with delicious wine-based cocktails, wine, and frose. However, I will warn that you should not come here for a cheap beer- you won't find it (even Miller Light is $9). The restaurant is super cute and has a nice indoor outdoor set up that would be perfect for nice weather! A few downsides make this not a five star experience. First, I wanted to try some of their food but unfortunately my order was never entered into the system. So after waiting a while, we got the bill and left. Second, the wait staff was very strange - the bartender offered my husband a free cocktail that we had seen somebody a couple of seats over drink and then send back (ew!). The food menu has plenty of people-pleasing options, and they have several vegetarian smalls/shares and entrees. We started with the Blistered Shishito Peppers and the Spicy Whipped Hummus - both were delicious and honestly exceeded our expectations for this place. For our entrees, I ordered the San Marzano Tomato Flatbread, which was basically a standard pizza-type flatbread, and my husband ordered the BHG Burger, which he said was solid. I don't typically leave reviews but I went here with a friend to have some drinks and something to eat. We were the only two people at the bar and there were only two other people in the entire restaurant. The bartender served us two glasses of wine when we first sat down, but from then on we kept having to flag people down to order food or another round of drinks. We were rarely checked on and saw the bartender on their phone multiple times while waiting to order more drinks. Our last two glasses of wine were served to us in a measurer and we were told to "fight amongst ourselves" and left it there to pour for ourselves. I went to brunch at Easy Company on a Sunday at 1pm. My best friend and I were lucky enough to find street parking close by so we arrived a few minutes early. Upon arrival we were greeted by the host and seated in the patio immediately. The patio is bright with floor to tall windows, heat lamps and lovely decor, we sat at a table along the interior and had a view of the buffet which wasn't the best but hear a heat lamp. We looked over the menu and opted not to do the bottomless option because we wanted to try their brunch cocktails and didn't see the value in paying more for biscuits and bacon. We both ordered the brunch burger (sub salad for my friend). The burgers came out wrong for the first iteration which was disappointing because we were starving but the corrected order came out about 10 minutes later. The manager came around to check in with each table and she was friendly and attentive. I tried their take on an aeperol spritz but the orange liquor was overbearing and too th I'm so I asked to change it to a rosé Prosecco. My friend had two cocktails that were refreshing, crisp and light. Overall we liked Easy Company but I think I expected a more creative take on drinks, cocktails and food since this is a wine bar.
