I have been going here for around 8 years and they give constant good service for me. The workers are friendly and ready to help.

Greens and grains bowl is the way to go! Really love cava for a to-go lunch spot. The portion size is so large, it can be split between two meals. The regular chicken is very delicious, and pairs well with the regular hummus and red pepper hummus. We always ask for a pita on the side for the dips at the end! Service is so quick and I love how you can customize your order so easily. Parking is street parking here. read more

I did an uber eats delivery because I needed something healthy fast... I was skeptical as to the level of freshness or quantity or quality ... but I was very pleasantly surprised. At first glance it looked scant and the side dip mountain my salad bowl were quite small- but the amount of freshness veggies and chicken was really nice. I also asked for two other toppings they left off so wasn't sure if they were out of it ? Was just glad to get a fresh salad that was gluten free dairy free and healthy and flavorful! read more

Rice was hard and not fully cooked. Food was not fresh at all. Tastes like they mixed last night's food with today's. Someone should look into that. Service was amazing which is why I'm just going to just let it go. Not going back to this location. read more

PLEASE BRING CAVA TO THE BAY AREA! 5++ stars! After years of hearing the rave I finally got to try Cava while on a work trip. I ordered in a greens and rice bowl to go - and I was shocked to find out you can get 15+ toppings on it. It exceeded expectations and the veggies taste fresh. The only con was the falafel... it wasn't very good, but every other ingredient blew my mind. I'm on the Cava bandwagon for sure. I will def be ordering another bowl in the near future. No pic because I ate it up so quickly! read more

I ordered a create your own bowl and as my protein chose to get spicy lamb meatballs and chicken. Not only were they both flavorful but the slight spice from the lamb paired with the crazy feta and garlic dressing was magnificent! Great service! The line moved quickly and the lady that took my order was super fast and efficient! She got me through quickly and got me rung up asap! The food was soooo yummy, i wish the portions were bigger but i definitely could have asked for more chicken so that may be a me problem. Cava always hits, so no complaints from me!! We really need a Cava in the Seattle area. I mean, really. So every time I visit the DC area, I gotta get my Cava on and this location at the Navy Yard is a solid one. It curbed that Cava craving. I visited Cava during the lunch hour and it was busy, with a line that basically curved around the room. I will say though that this location is not the largest in the Navy Yard neighborhood. But most people were getting takeout here versus dining in, so at least there were tables available despite how busy it gets during the lunch hour. I created my own bowl of Mediterranean goodies, and it was tasty. There's a lot to choose from in making your own Mediterranean bowl, with different proteins, sauces, veggies, etc. I also advise trying one of their housemade fruit beverages. I've tried all of them and love them all. Glad to know that there's a Cava in the Navy Yard neighborhood, right next to the metro and baseball field. read more

Negative stars for me. I'm a CAVA girl. I've never ordered Cava online and I've never used DoorDash. I'm never doing it ever again. I placed an order for 15 meals for my monthly team meeting. I placed the order through Door Dash yesterday, 11/7/23, approximately 3:30pm. The payment went through successfully, and received the confirmation email. I scheduled the delivery for Wednesday, 11/8/23 between 11:30 - 11:50. The confirmation email said the dasher would meet me in the lobby on 11/8/23 approximately 11:40. On the morning of 11/8/23, approximately 8am, I added one more bowl to our order. It was charged separately. 10:45am I received a cancellation email from Door Dash saying the order couldn't be processed and to expect a refund. I called CAVA as soon as they opened, no answer. I called Cava again at 11:40, no answer. I called CAVA again 11:46, no answer. I called door dash customer service for help. No help ... they said CAVA never confirmed the big order. They only confirmed the 1 added bowl. I called CAVA back at 3:06pm and finally spoke with a manager. I don't remember her name. She blamed in back on Door Dash, said they didn't receive it. I'm not sure where the problem lies but neither CAVA or Door Dash offered any compensation for the huge, corporate ($200+) lunch mess up. I deleted my Door Dash account - don't need that kind of stress in my life. I'll continue to frequent CAVA just not THIS location and I'll never order online from any CAVA going forward. read more

Cava's basically mediterranean food Chipotle style and I'm all about it. My DC coworkers highly recommended it, saying it was a must-try for people visiting DC. And I get why! I personally like healthy foods in a bowl. Large portions at an affordable price. I came with a coworker and I chose the create your own grain bowl option. They've got all varieties of rice/grain and hummus/dips. I was pretty excited to see the eggplant dip/baba ghanoush. Except it was definitely more eggplant-y than a true baba ghanoush. Not smooth, kind of like they just blended roasted eggplants with spices and was like, there you go. It's good but I would love to see a baba ghanoush dip option too. I got a jasmine tea too. Not very jasmine-y, tasted more like a regular green tea. This Cava is pretty spacious and staff was nice and efficient. read more

I work too hard for my money to receive a messy unfinished order. I ordered and paid for a long list of extras for s chicken bowl. It was a carry out order and my first time using this location. I did not receive half of what I paid for then there was feta cheese sprinkled on top like it was a damn masterpiece. What if I was allergic. Really?@#¥?!!! Do better #ZERO STARS read more

The food was fresh and great, and the juices too. TJ was very helpful with ordering and was so nice-great customer service.

This is a good Cava location, I come here pretty often for bowls and I've yet to be disappointed. I'm a lady that pays attention to cleanliness of a restaurant, and this one passes all my internal critiques. The service is always fast and friendly and the food is fresh and tasty. I went yesterday morning and the store was unsanitary. Food spilled, trash, gnats, and rude service. The manager was very unprofessional with a police officer who was only buying food. I live right down the street, love going here. The food is always great and the staff is always very nice. I have to be honest here, I've tried this Cava a couple times trying to give it the benefit of a doubt. They under serve like none other and do it every time. I added extra roasted vegetable to my bowl to find almost zero vegetables in it along with the other added ingredients. My current bowl is 1/4 full, the other 3/4 missing. Last time I wasted $15 on a bowl here. Staff is hit or miss too, they sometimes ignore a customer until the customer readily gets their attention. Overall, I would go to another Cava establishment over this one. read more

Hands down, this is my favorite CAVA to go to in DC. Not only because it's the closest one to my home, but also because the food is always fresh, the service is always exceptional, and the wait is never too long! Parking in this area can be a bit of a disaster at times, especially when there's a Nat's game so I'm always sure to check their schedule before I head there just so I know what to expect or if I should just wait and go at a later time. Other than parking being an issue, I literally have no other complaints! read more

Earlier today I went to this cava at navy yard. I was already overstimulated and exhausted and all I was craving was a cava bowl. When I tell you this cava brought my happiness back I'm not even exaggerating. Not only did my food hit the spot. I had great very short convo with one of the managers, I think her name was Heidi? She was so sweet and made feel important. She saw how upset I was and decided to lift my spirits. She didn't ask why I was upset. All she said was " I see you're upset, and I want you to leave this place with greatness. Don't forget that no matter what you're beautiful and you shouldn't worry about things that would take your beauty away. Some times smiling can make your world brighter." Since then I realized I've been smiling while enjoying my food. I'm writing this review because you can never find places that always care about their customers like that. I hope it continues to grow. I'm definitely making this cava my new cava place. read more

Love Cava and love this location. Service is always prompt and the food is always fresh. Friendly staff 9/10 times.

Came here last night for a quick grab and go dinner after work. Service was fast and friendly. Great place for a quick and filling meal!

Food was okay and about what you'd come to expect from cava, a fast casual Mediterranean concept. For those of you who have not had it before, think chipotle but Mediterranean flavors and choices. Docking points mostly because the service felt subpar. There were a couple mistakes in my order that took some work to fix - however could have been a one off. Probably worth it if you are in the mood for Mediterranean, and other options if you are looking for nice food or fast casual read more

Ordered a steak and harissa bowl but did not receive any steak. Very expensive bowl to not get the most important ingredient.

Humongous portions, super fresh ingredients, & a streamline fast casual experience. I got the sweet & spicy pita and it is more than enough to share between two people, or to eat half and save the rest for later. The workers were really nice! I opted for take out this time, but they have have ample seating here for booths or window view. read more

I'm a fan of Cava if you know what to order. I used to go with the half rice and half salad bowl, but now I go with the pita every time with braised beef. It's perfect. This location of Cava is close to the Nationals Park and beautiful inside. It's spacious and designed really well. The only complaint is that Verizon doesn't have good reception so I can never get the app to work missing out on redeeming rewards or getting credit. It's so annoying! read more

I order takeout from this CAVA at least twice a week... whether it's a curbside pickup or delivery, I am always pleased with my bowls. The food is well-portioned and fresh, the staff pays attention to all of the details included in what I'd like on my bowl, and it is always ready right on time. They're offering curbside pickup for those who are not willing to go into a store- visit their website or app and place an order, call when there and someone will bring your food out! You can also go in and build your bowl if you are uncertain of what you want. They're also now on Uber eats (hurray!). This is a great healthy option for anyone who's in a slump after making meals so often! read more

I love CAVA!!!!!! Cava is like a Mediterranean Chipotle by 100 times better. It's the ultimate build-a-bowl place specializing in the freshest ingredients. The Base of the bowl is greens, grains pita or soup, next it's the Dips (a variety of) Hummus, Tzatziki, Feta Hummus, Protein consist of Meatballs (lamb or beef), beef, chicken, falafel or roasted veggies, the Toppings consist of a variety of fresh vegetables, and Finally. The dressings/sauces such as vinaigrettes, tahini and a few other varieties. I love CAVA, I could truly eat here every day and not get bored! I wish they had a loyalty card. Eat here and you will not be disappointed, if you are a fan of salads and veggies. read more
