I really appreciated the speed andG cleanliness. The concept of build-a-bowl, as popularized by Chipotle, really works with Mediterranean-style ingredients. I got the Harissa Avocado Bowl, which the menu describes as "a fiery summer bowl that includes SuperGreens, Basmati Rice, Crazy Feta, Hummus, Harissa Honey Chicken, Fire-Roasted Corn, Avocado, Pickled Onions, Cucumber, and Feta with Hot Harissa Vinaigrette." Great flavor, perfect amount of heat, and extremely fresh. I think people don't realize that cava is here and that it hasn't quite caught on just yet. *greens/grain bowl - it's pretty much all I ever get but I'm convinced that everything is good. There's so many sauces, veggies, and extra add-ins that it seems nearly impossible to screw anything up...it all taste good! Can't have too many lunch places in the neighborhood, even if this one is a little on the pricey side. If you haven't been to Cava it's a make-your-own-bowl Mediterranean type place. You select green, grains, protein, sauces, vegetables, etc. I haven't tried all the meats but everything I've had, from chicken to lamb to falafel, was solid. They have a nice selection of fresh beverages, and I don't mean your standard soda dispenser. The only thing I didn't care for is that one of the meats had so much garlic and spices on it that it gave me a little indigestion. Today I visited Cava near the yards & I am blown away by the customer service I received from Blanca. She was very patient with me and understanding with my order. I like my protein and rice separately so I can warm them before eating my bowl and in the past there have been workers giving me a hard time or smacking their teeth when I ask them to put it on the side. She was very responsive, respectful and helpful. I haven't ate Cava in months due to the customer service I received in the past. Blanca turned my experience around and made me feel appreciated and valued today. Horrible experience. I ordered through Uber and never received my food. The CAVA restaurant turned away three different drivers for the order saying they there was no order. I was never contacted and Uber App showed food was delivered I waited 1.5hrs for an order that never came. I now have to wait 3 days for a refund. This CAVA location and Uber isn't very reliable. I'm NOT happy with the service AT ALL! I don't recommend eating with them EVER. read more

Yes, I am uppity when it comes to fast food. Cava gets the A+ because they are vegetarian and vegan friendly. They also allow you to get the kids menu too. Their portions are HUGE and everything has been fresh upon any location that I have visited. If you like Mediterranean food this is the place to be. The falafels are the BEST and are so flavor and filling. Just the selection alone of veggies is making my mouth water as I write this review. This is what fast food should be like. The staff was slammed with large and many orders and there was a steady stream of customers ordering in person. A couple of the staff members were really hustling to fill the orders, especially for those of us who were already there waiting. They went out of their way to provide the best customer service possible and had great attitudes despite the situation. I was very impressed and received my orders ahead of schedule. I had been starving all day and finally got a CAVA bowl to go. It's pretty much like a Mediterranean version of Chipotle just with a lot of more options. And feels a lot healthier too. I went with a super greens bowl with eggplant and red pepper dip, hummus, and roasted red pepper hummus. For the protein I chose to get the roasted seasonal vegetables- tomatoes, green peppers, mushrooms, and sweet potatoes (the sweet potatoes were the perfect balance to the salty and savory) and the works for toppings- hey I was hungry! For my dressing I got the lemon pepper tahini but to be honest, I probably won't get a dressing for the next time. The hummus has so much flavor that an additional dressing sort of muddies the flavor. The bowl was pretty delicious and I just scarfed that thing down. I really liked how fresh everything seemed. I look at the receipt thinking I didn't order the pita chips but I did, which I had to then ask for. Been a fan of CAVA for a few years and visited this new location which is close to my office. Got my food quick, was happy with the quality. I will keep going here for sure. The food is normally fresh and tasty. I was very disappointed yesterday the salad was fresh however the chicken was tasteless and hard.

Food is good, but....we fought terrible construction and traffic to do a drive by pick up. Got back to the office and noticed my pita chips were missing. I called right away and the manager Michelle offered to replace them on my next visit. I said I wasn't sure when I would venture that way again and asked for a refund. She said ok but it would take awhile because I paid with the app. A few weeks later still not there so I called again and Michelle said she had submitted it. Well as of today still nothing. The $1.50 ain't reducing my standard of living but it's about the customer service. And I was really sad because I love the pita chips. Update: I love Cava so much I can't stay away. I still won't order if I can't go it and watch them make my order. The line service is very polite, but I swear they must get fired if they fill any of their scoops over 3/4 full. This was a nice lunch alternative to the usual salad and sandwich. The portion sizes were large which was good considering the price - just over $10 with tax - not expensive but not a cheap lunch. My bowl was quite filling allowing for two meals, if you can stomach leftovers which I admit I'm not a big fan of. Love that you can get the dips and pita to go. Love the harissa and tzatziki.
