We were starving after the ill-fated attempt to Beat the Bomb (See review). Too tired to walk the mile or more for full restaurant fare that didn't require reservations, all the places nearby were just bar food. And though i don't mind bar food...we wanted something else Honestly: didn't even know MoMs had eat-in-store options. I'd only been to the one in White Marsh, and it doesn't Cutting through the store headed to the elevator to the parking garage, we saw "this": the Naked Lunch And thought. Hmmm. Quick. Healthy. Non-bar. Why not? All vegetarian, vegan, lots of raw, veggies,and legumes, grains, and fruit and vegetable juices! Sooo glad we did! 2/4 of us frequent the establishment so we followed their lead I got the moolah bowl and a friend got a juice made of all kinds of fresh stuff. She said it was THE best fresh juices juice she'd ever had. Unfortunately they were out of both avocado and mushrooms, so I subbed brown rice and black beans. LOVED IT They roast the veggies, and just totally mix the greens and toppings n veggies altogether and dump it in a brown box! DELISH AND HUMONGOUS. I literally am on my 3rd meal of it, today! I'm gonna write to the moms in white marsh and ask why "we" don't have the ear in option? Staff: two VERY hard working folk going at it, being patient with us first timers and totally apologetic about the items they were out of (as though it were their fault). A short line started to form behind us and a lady appeared from the rear to help them out. Yal! I cannot even explain how deliciously delectable the food is here! Even if you, like me, are not a "foodie" and are not technically vegetarian or vegan, you will absolutely enjoy your meal. I usually get the Crowder Bowl (subbing out the tofu because well, yuck) and I'm always quite pleased with it. But on my last visit, I decided to take a chance on the featured buffalo cauliflower and chickpea tacos with kale slaw and vegan cream. Yal! YAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH. EMMMMM. GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I cannot even begin to explain to you how amazing this tasted. The pictures speak for themselves, but let's just say that this was one of the best vegan dishes I've ever had in this entire city. I'll start with the good things: 1. Free and easy parking. 2. Healthy fast food. 3. Healthy inexpensive food, which can be a tough thing to find! 4. Large portions And now the bad: 1. If you want anything to drink besides ginger kombucha or raw juice you will need to pay for your meal and find what you want in the store and get into the grocery line to for it. If you're on your lunch break and pressed for time as I was this can be a little nerve wracking. 2. Very limited menu options for food. I eat paleo and there was nothing on the menu that was paleo friendly, unless you just wanted to drink juice. Everything has grains and there is a lot of tofu. I wound up ordering the cauliflower steak with no rice and extra spinach but was sad when I saw it get covered in probably a solid cup of dressing. It would have been AWESOME if there were an option to simply build your own salad. It was a tasty dish though so I'll give it that. read more

This cafe attached to the MOM's Organic Market is delicious, affordable and all organic. Any of the bowls you order are $8.75, which is a steal for all organic! They have great choices with pre-made mixes that have flavors that are somewhat Asian, Mexican and the like. What's more fun is making your own bowl with choices like kale and spinach for your base, and toppings like green onions, avocado, tomatoes, bell peppers, raw cashews, cucumbers, celery, carrots, beets, cauliflower, sprouts, mushrooms, red onions, etc. So good! They have delicious juices that are also super affordable like Green Tea Glory and Pink Lady. Here, they also have specials like yams with toppings or roasted cauliflower 'steaks', etc. those depend on seasonal produce. They also have in-house made muffins, frozen yogurt and soups. Because it's all vegetarian, it's pretty easy to identify if you can or cannot eat it based on wheat or dairy restrictions. If you are not sure, just ask! The food is in compostable containers, and the forks and utensils are also compostable. If you eat it in the store, there is plenty of seating! read more

I love getting a fresh juice here. I always try different combinations and always end up loving it. If you want it less sweet, skip the apple juice and focus on veg. I'm always super pleased when I see how much organic fruit and veggies go into the juicer and into my belly. The prices are also super affordable and is what you would have spent buying all the same produce at the market and way than getting the prepackaged juices from some other companies. The bowls are also delicious and I always love taking them home to top off with my own protein.y favorite is the cauliflower steak that is full of flavor and super hearty. I can never get such a huge piece of cauliflower to taste so good in my own oven. The staff is always super pleasant here and I've always had a great experience here. There is also always available seating in front to enjoy watching all the card pass by New York Avenue. read more

I came here for lunch with a coworker! We were genuinely surprised by their variety of choices!!! I got the Lin bowl which was delicious. The seaweed and kimchi really added flavor to the whole meal. My colleague got Hannah Bowl which wasn't steamed but the corn and onion added really good sharp flavor to it too! We will be definitely coming back to try to juices. read more

I honestly used to love this place. It was clean and the staff behind the counter were very kind and friendly, great customer service. I went back today and the new girls preparing the food were rude and immature. They were making fun of one of the ladies running the checkout grocery line and you could tell she was new but she was trying. Not to mention they kept the food area very unclean and were more concerned with their gossip than actually working. I will be back to shop for groceries but not for the food behind the counter. Yo! I love this place. I am here at least once a week and I get the same thing over and over, the Moler Bowl. The portion sizes are big, the food is delicious and healthy and the staff is very efficient. There are not a lot of salad places in the area, but I think this place is as good or even better than one of my favorite salad places, Sweet Greens. read more

Yummy!!!! Stopped in on my way home and got a Kale Salad. It was so fresh and good that I wish I lived closer. Conveniently, located in MOM's Organic Market, Naked Lunch is the perfect spot for on the go eating. Of course you can eat in if you like as there is plenty of seating available. I was very indecisive and I really didn't know what I wanted but the employee that assisted me told me I could essential get anything I wanted made to order. They make the best salads in the Washington, D.C. area. They taste spectacular! They're organic, non gmo and excellent quality and taste. The portions are huge and they always taste fresh even when I've run in to get a salad right before closing. I've eaten at Chopt and Sweet Green and Naked Lunch blows them out of the water. My favorite salad is a variation of their "Confetti Bowl". I can never just order what's on the menu, I'm too particular. This salad is amazing, so here goes: pilaf, black beans, kale, jalapenos, mixed peppers, corn, black olives, cilantro, whole avocado, fresh lime juice and roasted garlic sauce and lime jalapeno sauce (on the side). One salad is at least two servings but sometimes I can get three servings out it. On the rare occasion I've sat in my car outside of MOM's and eaten the entire thing. It's my favorite salad. Best part about it: NO DAIRY AND NO ANIMAL PRODUCTS and it tastes absolutely amazing! read more

This is delicious food! The portion sizes are generous and the staff is incredibly friendly. They offered suggestions when one of the ingredients had run out and allowed me to make substitutions. Extremely slow to prepare the food, and asked again and again as to which sides and condiments I wanted.
