After reading all good google reviews, I wanted to give it a try this place. Tiny space with limited tables. We order bunch of Korean foods, everything taste good and authentic. But I don't know if this place is bar or the restaurant. The atmosphere here was very weird and confused me if I am here for dinner or drink. Customers there were mostly over 50-60's (no offense for sure) with background of 1980's Korean songs also with bright light.. I wish if they care about the place decorated or deem the light or something.

They cancelled my order with no courtesy contact or explanation. It would have been nice for a call or text.

Really good and authentic Sichuan food! I tried most of the classic dishes and I loved all of them…read more My only complaint is that everything was a bit too salty but I think that's inevitable since Sichuan food just has so many spices and is packed with flavor. The place looks small initially but is actually really long and there's a basement too with extra seating. I would definitely come back here when craving Sichuan food. Sautéed beef w. two kinds of pepper 7/10 - Too spicy for my liking (though it does have a spice level of 2 chilis on the menu) Double cooked pork belly w. chili leeks 9/10 Sesame cold noodle w. sliced pork belly in garlic sauce 9/10 - This was one of my favorite new dishes! Sautéed baby shrimp w. egg 8/10 Steamed whole fish w. fresh green pepper (tilapia) 9/10

I wanted some duck blood and saw that Alley 41 had a few variations. I opted for the Duck Blood with Pickled Chiles. I also got some rice on the side, and a Chinese Herbal Tea (Wong Lo Kat) to go with it. The chilies really bring the heat! There is a good amount of duck blood, though I prefer thicker cuts. It is a very oily dish. I ended up scooping the dish onto the rice to get rid of a lot of the oil. There wasn't much of a pickle flavor to cut the heat and oil. Overall, not my favorite duck blood dish. I will have to try the one with pork intestine or braised frog for more flavor. I will also have to try other dishes and dining in.

The real star of the night was Joyce behind the bar. She's the kind of bartender who instantly makes you feel welcome, like you've been a regular for years even if it's your first visit. She knows her drinks, makes amazing recommendations, and somehow keeps the energy fun and relaxed even when the bar gets busy. You can tell she genuinely cares about people having a good experience, and that kind of service is rare. Her gin and tonic was perfectly balanced -- crisp, refreshing, and honestly one of the best I've had. And the green tea shots? Dangerous in the best way possible. Smooth, flavorful, and way too easy to keep ordering because they go down so well. Joyce makes them with consistency and a little extra flair that makes the whole experience feel special. Food-wise, I highly recommend the pork dumplings -- flavorful, perfectly cooked, and the ideal pairing with drinks. Everything just worked together: great food, great drinks, and even better hospitality. Joyce truly elevates the entire atmosphere at Firefly, turning a normal night out into something memorable. If you're going, sit at the bar, trust her recommendations, and thank me later. 10/10 experience -- I'll absolutely be back.

My only thing is the food option is limited and it's more pub finger food. Definitely would eat dinner somewhere then make a stop here for a drink.
