Everyone here is so sweet and helpful, and from what I've observed, they know many of their customers by name. You can feel the genuine sense of community. That same care carries over into the food. Everything is fresh, wholesome, and intentionally made. You can tell they care about the food they're serving and the people they're serving it to. For the longest time, I couldn't stop ordering the turkey pesto sandwich because it was that good. Once I finally started trying other menu items, I realized it wasn't just one great sandwich. Everything I've had has been delicious. The coffee and tea are exceptional as well. Manteca is so lucky to have a place like Bean & Leaf. This is a place that genuinely nourishes its community, and I think that's something really special.

This morning, my husband and I visited, and we were somewhat disappointed with the quality of our orders. He ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk, while I ordered an oat milk latte with an extra shot of espresso at a temperature of 200 degrees. He also selected a ham, cheese, and egg croissant, and I opted for a bacon and cheese croissant. Regrettably, the items did not meet our expectations. The beverages lacked the desired strength; although the temperature was correct, I was informed after placing our order that they were out of oat milk and had to substitute it with almond milk. Given that we had already paid approximately $30, this was quite disappointing. Despite these concerns, we did not request a discount or refund, and we accepted the substitution that was communicated to us approximately 10 to 15 minutes after placing our order. On a positive note, the staff were very courteous, and the establishment was clean. However, I suspect that the items we ordered may not represent the best offerings on their menu. While the service was commendable, there was a notable wait involved. It would have been preferable to have been informed of the oat milk shortage prior to payment, as we might have chosen to leave at that point. Unfortunately, our dissatisfaction led us to seek alternative options, and we subsequently drove to Stockton to visit Peet's Coffee, where we consistently find lattes prepared to our liking. While we may not return to this location, I do not wish to portray it negatively. It is clear that the establishment has potential, yet our experience did not align with our expectations.

Love this cafe! The whole atmosphere is awesome, it looks like one of those little coffee shops you see on tv or in a magazine. Employees are always friendly, it's always really clean and busy! It's a good thing, trust me! It's worth the wait, the sweets are so good! The cinnamon rolls are HUGE AND DELICIOUS. I've told everyone I know to try them. My family loves scones and every time I stop by, there's always a variety to choose from. The cherry chocolate chip and strawberry scones are my fave. Haven't tried their food yet but I'm going to. Coffee...it was good. I had a vanilla latte and I liked that it wasn't really sweet like they are at Starbucks. My family is a big fan and i hope they're around for awhile. The veggie bagel was easily the best I've had. They used a sauce I couldn't quite identify, but it made the whole thing stand out. I ate around 10:30 a.m., and it kept me full until about 8 p.m., which almost never happens for me. I also ordered an iced caramel macchiato. It tasted like a traditional macchiato, not overly sweet or artificial like what you might get at Starbucks. The space itself is very cute, with thoughtfully decorated seating and an open layout that feels bigger than it looks from the outside. Just opened today! When you first walk in you are dragged by the smell of fresh cinnamon rolls and coffee. Has a very nice home feel and they great you with smiles as soon as you walk in the door! My wife and I come here at least twice a week, sometimes more, and we've been coming since they opened their doors earlier this year. What keeps bringing us back is simple: the COFFEE. The flavor, quality, and consistency are on another level. We've tried plenty of local coffee shops and bigger chains, and Eliyanna is still the one we crave the most. My wife and I started coming here throughout her pregnancy, so it's actually really cool that we've watched the shop grow while our own family was growing too. We also saw the owner throughout her pregnancy, and now she's had her baby and is already back working and taking care of the shop. The owners are genuinely sweet, down-to-earth people, and one of the things we appreciate most is that they actually remember their regular customers. That kind of personal service is hard to find. Our second favorite coffee spot is Bennet's Coffee in Stockton, mainly because we can buy their coffee beans and use them for espresso at home. I REALLY wish Eliyanna sold their beans because we would absolutely buy them! If they ever start selling bags of their coffee, we'll probably be some of the first customers buying them. We also used to regularly go to House of Mokha since it's only minutes away from us. They're still good, and their pastries are delicious -- very sweet, but definitely worth trying -- but when it comes strictly to the coffee itself, Eliyanna wins for us by miles. House of Mokha feels a little more like a busy social hangout, while Eliyanna has that smaller, cute, welcoming neighborhood coffee-shop atmosphere that we really enjoy. If I had to give Eliyanna one area for improvement, it would be the food selection. I wish they had more warm breakfast options. They have some simple items like avocado toast, but even adding things like bagels, breakfast sandwiches, or a few easy grab-and-go breakfast options would make this place nearly impossible to beat. Sometimes they do get SUPER busy, but that should tell you something. It's worth the wait. If you're someone who normally just goes to Starbucks, Dutch Bros, or McDonald's for coffee, try supporting a local coffee shop like this instead. The difference in quality is noticeable, and you're supporting people in your own community. For anyone in the 209 who actually enjoys good coffee -- or even someone who hasn't really gotten into coffee yet -- give Eliyanna Cafe a try.
