5/5 Stars!! First timer since moving and we loved every second of it. The staff are exceptional and so helpful. Their coffee was yummy and their mini chonchas were sooooo cute and tasty. Highly recommend to all nearby and far away
I came here for brunch. Not packed. Ordered food at the counter, found a table and was waved not too long after. I ordered the huevos rancheros but instead of the red sauce only I ordered it half red/half green with tinga instead of chorizo. It was smack. The cafecito was really good too. I ended up taking some mini pan to go because it was so cute. I'll come again.
I love this place...it can get pricey but everything was delicious and the atmosphere here just makes me smile with a the colors. I have been wanting to get a drink with a design on it and to custom with your own photo wow. I chose hello kitty which they already had. We ate and drank everything. For a rainy Monday holiday, there were a few customers already there when we came in the early evening, just missing the brunch hour we saw at the order counter, that ended at 3p. I'm not clear if it's an everyday menu that ends at 3 though I will definitely be back again for the selfie drinks
Typical spot that I'm on the fence about between a 3 and a 4. The first time I came I was underwhelmed by the flavored coffee drinks. The drinks lacked the taste of their flavors as well as the actual coffee flavor. I came back another time and it was a little better but still was a tad lacking. What I did enjoy were their little cup desserts, I think the one I got was a strawberry tres leches. The interior is clean with nice tables and seating. The baked/sweets offerings are all on display right in front where you order as well. They have never been super busy on the days that I've visited. They are about average speed when it comes to getting the drinks out. I really hope I can give them a 4 in the future but I'll have to go with 3 for now.
Really cute place! There are outlets under the bench seating so it will be a perfect place to come grab some caffeine and get some work done (not during brunch hours of course). I grabbed a 3 cheese grilled cheese and cafe en las rocas (decaf) for a quick dinner. The girl working was sweet and seemed to enjoy the space outside of work as well based on our convo. The sandwich came with a sauce that I'm not quite sure what it was, but it had a nice horseradish type kick to it that I liked! I'll definitely be back to check out the brunch menu.

They have a whole menu that I want to try but for today... just a snack!!! Ha ha The inside is beautiful, the paintings, the chairs, the tables.. the bright colors and Mexican theme. Staff that took our order was very nice.
Such a great spot! Came here for a quick breakfast after hanging out at the waterpark. Everything we ate was so so good. Chilaquiles, pan dulce, French toast, pancakes, everything was made so well! If I lived nearby I would be here every week. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The place is beautiful and looks very new.
We were passing by this town and decided to try it. There's a back parking lot. This place is pretty big compared to other con azucar. This place is beautiful inside. The service was excellent here the girls working here had outstanding customer service. We ordered three horchata lattes and a concha. This place was made for instagram pictures. They really thought of the murals they were beautiful. The coffee was good. We overall had a good experience.
This cafe is super spacious and fun! I loved how many food and drink options rhe location offers. I could the coconut cloud matcha which was yummy - I just wish I asked the ingredients beforehand because I was expecting a coconut matcha latter not matcha and coconut water lol. The service is quick and everyone is really kind.

We went in for brunch and the place was super packed, you order at the counter and pray you find a table with your table number. They recommend getting stuff to go at check out in case you don't find a seat- The place is pretty traditional in the Mexican style brunch and coffee, I didn't even know what some items were, but you knew it was good because a lot of Hispanic people were majority of the clientele. I heard that's a good secret to knowing if a place is authentic an tasty. I think this place being new can use some more staff to support the time it takes to process orders, clean tables, help guests with basic needs. Our food took quite a while to come out, I'd say 30 mins or slightly more. (With a cafe style set up, that's a long time.) I would say the food was 3 or 4 out of 5. Def think it's worth a visit, specially if you like things more authentic.

I've gotten the cafe de olla, matcha, champurrado and my fave- brown sugar shaken espresso. All very yummy!! The thing that sets this location apart from the others is the food. They actually sell full on plates and I can honestly say I've never had a better chilaquiles. My mouth is watering just thinking about all the yumminess! There's usually a line out the door, even at 9 am in Manteca. But it's worth the wait and it usually goes by fast. There's an ample amount of seating, but kinda hard to snatch on a busy day since they sell full plates of food. The staff is always welcoming and attentive! Very clean as well.

I expected much better quality and quantity for shrimp tacos, and unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives.
Easily a 10/10 experience! Food was fire, ambience was nice and homey, service was great. Food came out promptly, concha was fresh and soft, drink was a delicious and strong! Chilaquiles were good, wish they were a little spicer, but really good!! Smashed black beans had a lil kick to them. Definitely my fav food spot in Manteca thus far.
Review #1,105 Posted on 8.25.26 We came here for some coffee, and ended up getting breakfast too on Sunday the 23rd. My wife loves Chilaquiles, and was hungry, so we ordered and sat down to chill. An unexpected surprise that they served food here too thinking we were only coming for coffee. I got the white chocolate iced mocha, with a horchata top/foam, man was it good, nice & sweet n creamy. So good I ordered a 2nd and got our friends a cup too. This local spot is worthy of your business, we'll be back for sure. read more

If you like Mexican food with a creative twist then you will love Con Azúcar Café. The food is spicy and delicious the ambience of the place is warm vibrant and welcoming. The time between ordering and eating is minimal and you will most likely leave with leftovers to enjoy later. The service is friendly and efficient. This place has something for everyone and is definitely worth exploring. I was too full to try one of their many creative desserts. I will be back soon. read more

Driving down I5 I was looking for my morning coffee to help me on my drive. I found this cafe and saw Horchata Latte, I was sold. It was early morning so it was not as busy but some people enjoying their breakfast. The vibe was chill and fresh. Upon entering they had lots of pan dulce and desserts to chose from including a huge concha (I was tempted to get that). I went with the iced Horchata Latte and a small concha. My gf got an iced Chai latte and a puerquito pan. The drinks were 10/10, coffee came through on the horchata latte and it was perfect amount of sweetness. The pan dulce was great! Never had we had a puerquito that was so soft and fresh. Employee's were nice and apologized for the wait even though we did not wait that long. I inside is spacious, great location to work or hang out. If we lived in the area we would definitely return, sadly we live in San Diego. read more
Today my family and I visited Con Azúcar for brunch, and it was a great experience from start to finish. You can enter through either the front or back door; we came in from the back and walked over to the ordering counter on the other side. Their brunch menu runs until 3 PM, so we were able to take advantage of it. We ordered pancakes with eggs, chilaquiles, and the Mexican burrito. Every plate was generously portioned, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. For drinks, we enjoyed horchatas and a Jarrito, which paired perfectly with the food. Although the place was packed, as soon as a table opened up I was able to grab one for my family of three. Before leaving, we picked up some mini conchas to go--they were too tempting to pass up! The entire establishment has a vibrant and well-designed atmosphere, with cool murals and photo-worthy spots throughout. The staff was friendly, attentive, and checked in to see if we needed anything more. Overall, delicious food, great service, and a fun environment. We would definitely come back again! read more

Came into Con Azúcar for the first time! I have been wanting to try here and finally did. You are welcomed very vibrant colors and culture it's so beautiful in here! There are a variety of food and drinks options. Cakes, pan dulces, desserts, and savory options. It was morning time we opted for some pan dulce and coffee. The sugar oat espresso with cinnamon was sooo yummy! The pan dulce was a bit dry and I was suprimes by this since it was first thing in the morning. Also picked up a piña Fresca very delicious! Can't wait to go back and try the savory options. read more
Went to this restaurant for brunch with my friend on a weekday and to my surprise, the cafe was decorated so pretty!!! The girls behind the counter were very nice, and the munuuuu was filled with our favorite chilaquiles!!!! The chilaquiles plate was so delicious and came with an egg which i asked to be cooked overeasy. Coming back again with the same friend to order other chilaquiles plates. read more

The cute spot was amazing. I love the vibe and the cute asthetics. They have a cute area where you can snap pictures. It was busy this Sunday but worth the wait. They opened another register to help with the line. The food snd drinks came out so fast. I had the spicy breakfast and Matt had the Ham and cheese skillet and a matcha cloud. Everything was amazing. Clean and very friendly. Restrooms were bright and clean. I would recommend this place to my friends and family. I just moved here so now I know if a place to come to. read more
What a VIBE! The cutest decor worth plenty of photos ops when you arrive! We came for just a drink and ending up staying for food cause it was so cute we ordered Chilaquiles and a cookie to go. We love some Chilaquiles and needless to say it was delicious!!! I wish it had a larger portion of chips but I'm a big back flavor was on point and loved this meal. The setting of this restaurant is so beautiful and picture worthy for social media! I love the coffee, absolutely one of my favorite spots for a latte, every flavor is delicious and it never misses. The toasted marshmallow is seasonal but loooorddd!! and it comes with toasted marshmallows on the top that are so fun to eat. The service is quick although always pretty packed, however it is new!! The hype is hyping!! As for the burrito... sooooo delicious and the sauces were so spicy but hit-the-spot spicy. read more

My hubby and I stopped by for some café and brunch. The location is chill and inviting. The ambiance and aesthetics are welcoming and invite you to take your time to enjoy the food and vibes. My hubby had the meat lovers omelette and I had the enchiladas Verde de Pollo. We both enjoyed our food. It was full of flavor, served hot and fresh. The staff was friendly and all the customers were enjoying their visit as we could hear laughter and see smiles. It was a pleasure to spend time there. read more

I had the most amazing brunch with my best friend here! She is a local to Lathrop and she vista here when she has a hankering for Chi...she treated me today! Gosh this place is so bright and cheery! Colors splash the walls, murals, it was super put together in a way that made me feel like I was down on a beach in Mexico! She recode fed the avocado toast (reasonably priced) ai ordered the torta de jamon and oh my god it was so good! The ham was delicious the bite of pickled jalapeño, the crisp lettuce the silky avocado. It was to die for. Huge portions as well! I will definitely make this a rotation spot when visiting! I really wanted to love this place. Con Azúcar Café is a new spot in Manteca, and I took my mother here for brunch (late breakfast / early lunch) as a surprise because she's obsessed with café de olla. First impressions: the café itself is very cute and inviting. The décor is charming and warm. The location, however, is a bit rough. We did see several homeless individuals nearby and people riding bikes around the area. That said, we didn't feel threatened and decided to go in anyway. You order at the counter, then they bring the food to your table. While we were enjoying the décor and chatting, our food arrived... cold. That was such a disappointment--especially since they weren't busy and it wasn't late in the day. My mom ordered the green chilaquiles, and unfortunately, the sauce was bitter, almost as if no one had tasted it before serving. Very surprising and disappointing. I ordered an omelet, which seriously lacked flavor--just very bland overall. I understand this is a new location, but first impressions matter, and this one missed the mark for us. Maybe coffee and pan dulce are their strong points, but based on this experience, I won't be giving this location a second chance. read more

I've been here twice for breakfast. Both times have been between 8-9am. No long lines, no waits! Staff has been friendly and food comes out quickly. Yeah it's a little pricy, but the portions are huge! The place is beautifully decorated with lots of photo opportunities for your socials (if that's what you're there for). Only knocked 1 star because the music is a little loud. Kinda hard to hear the person you're speaking to, but besides that, I'll definitely be back. read more

Came here one morning and noticed there was already quite a few people there. I was still able to get a table though. Menu looked appetizing along with the pastries they had on display. They advertised champurrado but unfortunately they were out of it. Still ordered a meal. The food was really good. Got the torta and the produce was fresh. Also got the café de olla which was really good. The inside looks really nice. Lots of art and places to take pics including a swing. Ill definitely be back to try more menu options read more
Came here with my friend for lunch. Did not know that it's new in town. Place looks cute on the inside. Interior is very elegant. Service is fast and friendly. Food wise is freshly cooked and made. Immediately upon entering, the ambiance of the restaurant was really nice. I loved all the decor that really highlights Hispanic culture as well as the small nods to Manteca. The cashier was very nice, patient, and helpful when it came to ordering. My friend and I both got chilaquiles. She got it with red sauce and chicken tinga while I got mine with creamy poblano sauce and carne asada. I also got the Duvalin Latte, which I enjoyed a lot. When the food came out, we both thought it looked like a small portion (we're used to having a whole plate of chilaquiles at other places), but honestly, this was the perfect amount. The potatoes and beans were a great addition to this dish. I loved the creamy poblano sauce so much, I'm still thinking about it! My friend said her food was good and she really liked the red sauce, which she's usually hesitant to get at other places because it doesn't have the flavor that she's looking for in a traditional red sauce. Over all, it was a great experience and I'm very glad that we have this new addition to Manteca! read more

I ordered the large dulce de leche latte with cold foam, which came out to $9.85. The drink was decent, but it leaned more toward milk and syrup than coffee, with very little coffee flavor coming through. For a latte at that price point, I expected at least a bit more balance and a stronger coffee presence. If you were someone that likes their drinks really sweet with just a hint of coffee then I think this is perfect for you! Service was fast and everybody was really sweet. The interior of the place is extremely aesthetic. read more

Con Azúcar Café is such a vibe -- cozy, colorful, and welcoming. We ordered the café de olla and the mazapán iced coffee, and both were excellent. The café de olla was warm, comforting, and perfectly spiced -- not too sweet, just right. The mazapán iced coffee was creamy and smooth with a rich peanut flavor that blended beautifully with the coffee. The matcha with banana foam was another standout. The matcha was smooth and earthy, and the banana foam on top added the perfect touch of natural sweetness -- so good and super refreshing. For food, the chilaquiles were flavorful and filling with great presentation. The only small note is that the chorizo was a bit salty, but everything else on the plate balanced it out well -- eggs cooked perfectly, creamy beans, fresh toppings, and avocado. Service was good -- friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Overall, great drinks, solid food, generous portions, and a really welcoming atmosphere. Perfect spot for brunch or a coffee date. Definitely coming back. read more
