It's not just a cup of ice cream. it's more several bowls of ice cream . Think three heaping scoops of rich creamy decadent delicious ice cream and I mean heaping! When my first child stepped up to order and they handed him this cup of ice cream, I thought they were just being nice, but then when my second child ordered and the same cup of ice cream came out, I was in utter disbelief. A lot of things that cost a lot of money and most of them Are expensive, but not necessarily offering for amount of value. But that's not the case here. The kids cup is like five bucks and it's enough ice cream for 2 to 3 people without question. As far as flavors go, they've got the greatest hits, covered from deep deck and chocolate to vanilla classic chocolate chip, and I mean vanilla ice cream with chunks of chocolate in it cookies and cream, and even the dreaded sugary sweet birthday cake! For the most part, we stuck to the basics but my one child did order that birthday cake and boy was it sweet! Beware. Now, if you just happen to be in the area and wanna come in for ice cream, it might not be the best deal around because you do have to pay for parking but if you're staying here at the great Wolf Lodge, definitely make this part of your experience.

Upon arriving, I was kindly welcomed by a lady (appearing to be of Indian ethnicity) who was very courteous. Since my phone was at 2% battery and I needed to stay reachable in case I had to assist my in-laws with restroom needs next door, I asked if there was any way they could help me charge it. I wasn't asking to borrow a charger--just if they had a way to connect it. They only had a USB cable available, which I completely understood and appreciated their effort. However, what left me disappointed was what happened on my way out. I had asked for a lid for my nephew's ice cream cup when another employee, a white heavy-set girl, immediately questioned whether I had paid for the two waters my in-laws and I had already purchased. I explained that I had, and even offered to show the receipt. She declined but still examined it closely as if to double-check. This felt unnecessary and disrespectful, especially since the waters had already been purchased along with our ice creams earlier. A better approach would have been for the staff to communicate with each other about what had been sold, or better yet, place the water bottles somewhere less open so customers aren't made to feel accused of taking something. The experience started off great thanks to the kindness of the first employee, but the ending left a bad impression. Clearer communication and more trust in customers would go a long way here.
