So disappointing... I picked up a cake for my sister's birthday and now I'm bummed and embarrassed to even bring the cake over... word of advice to the store.... If you can't sell what is pictured on the website, please do NOT offer it for sale. The actual product I picked up looked like a Frankenstein monkey while the picture online looks like a fun cartoon monkey. The connecting points are all rough, jagged and not smooth. Please... if the product isn't going to be what's advertised, please do not offer it for sale. People come to buy cakes for special occasions! I stopped by Baskin-Robbins recently with my nephew and my two elderly in-laws (mother-in-law and father-in-law). Upon arriving, I was kindly welcomed by a lady (appearing to be of Indian ethnicity) who was very courteous. Since my phone was at 2% battery and I needed to stay reachable in case I had to assist my in-laws with restroom needs next door, I asked if there was any way they could help me charge it. I wasn't asking to borrow a charger--just if they had a way to connect it. They only had a USB cable available, which I completely understood and appreciated their effort. However, what left me disappointed was what happened on my way out. I had asked for a lid for my nephew's ice cream cup when another employee, a white heavy-set girl, immediately questioned whether I had paid for the two waters my in-laws and I had already purchased. I explained that I had, and even offered to show the receipt. She declined but still examined it closely as if to double-check. This felt unnecessary and disrespectful, especially since the waters had already been purchased along with our ice creams earlier. A better approach would have been for the staff to communicate with each other about what had been sold, or better yet, place the water bottles somewhere less open so customers aren't made to feel accused of taking something. The experience started off great thanks to the kindness of the first employee, but the ending left a bad impression. Clearer communication and more trust in customers would go a long way here. read more

Single scoop is now $4.79! We went after the movie theater seeing the new movie IF. Our grandkids were excited to get the Blue and blossom creations with the crowns that go with it. You can get any ice cream that they have and they add sprinkles and a crown to wear. Way high priced for one scoop of ice cream, but priceless making memories. Service was great, even with a line. Awful!!!! Experience!! Baskin-Robbins offered a ice cream party get a free ice cream scoop per student per Family not aware that you were supposed to buy a four dollar purchase to get the free scoop. The manager who indicated you had to have that information was a nasty rude unprofessional manager will never go to that Baskin-Robbins ever again. She could've politely said I'm sorry, you have to pay four dollars in order to get the free scoop which was not a problem not only did they not have the flyer available to prove the point it was just a nasty rude and obnoxious personality of that manager on that day which is may 2nd. A staff member claiming to be the manager has been EXTREMELY RUDE every time I have come in while she's working. After magically turning our strawberry milkshake--we SPECIFICALLY ordered--into a vanilla one, she rudely protested to fixing it. Upon asking her for a manger, she proclaimed she was the manager and still refused to fix her own mistake and even worse, her rotten attitude. When coming in a second time (what a mistake!), she was yelling at a homeless man to "get out and never come back" when all he was asking for was a cup of water. Her terrible attitude was still intact, as she did not greet us, but rather yelled "only one person at a time!" When the sign CLEARLY said "two guests at a time." We were the only two guests there after the homeless man was scolded for his thirst. She continued to be very rude and angry towards us the entirety of our time there. She has absolute terrible customer service skills and should not be working in a place with high instances of human interaction. read more

Normally we have great service. And great experience. NORMALLY. I went to on Saturday night, 1/27/18 at 9:30pm after having dinner with my sister to celebrate her birthday. We went and it looked like the store was closing, but the lights were on and doors unlocked. We asked if they were open, as they had covered their waffle and sugar cones with their plastic bags. They said they are trying to close up on time at 10pm. After we just received one of our two orders, we saw that they had a deal on their waffle cones. Since my scoops were in a bowl, they could easily put the scoops into the waffle cone and the second order, just scoop right into the waffle cone. We asked for the deal and one of them all but rolled her eyes and said, "I guess", or something like that, dripping with disgust. We could overlook those two poor customer service experiences. Then at 9:45, they almost turned off the lights and cut half of the lights off. If I was the owner, I would be livid! Let me first say I work retail and I had to work today on Mother's Day as well. So I get it. I got home at 830 pm and went to dinner at the restaurant el jardin next door. Every time we eat here we go next door and get ice cream at baskin Robbins. We purposely made sure to finish eating before they closed since they close at 10 pm. We walked over two doors down. We had six minutes. We were taking it too go. The door was slightly propped open and the counters were covered with plastic I asked the girl if we could come in. she was a blonde hair young girl with pony tail. She said "we decided to close early". I asked her if that was a corporate decision and she turned around and ignored me. I think she was rude and if your open till 10 pm that means 10 pm not 945 pm. Asked them to write on it, and they recited the name spelling back correctly, but I got it back with the wrong spelling and with horrible writing. I went into Baskin & Robbins because I was overcharged for an item. Spoke with the manager who was very rude and obnoxious. She claims that she could not make any decisions, she would have to talk with the owner. I gave my information and the item in question. I received a phone call from her and she explained their position, as I'm talking, she interrupted me, I said to her, "let me finish", which she did. She then proceeded to do it again and when I voiced my displeasure, she said that she didn't do that. At this point, I'm like, have the manager call me, she said, "I am the manager". Ok, have the owner call me. Where do these businesses get these non-customer oriented people? I would not trust my day to day operations to be left in the hands of someone like her. My husband watched an employee drop his brownie sundae and put it in the bag. The thing looked like crap, $6 for ice cream it better look like the picture. He went back in to ask for it to be remade and the girl flat out lies to his face. "I didn't drop it, it just fell on the ice cream". The new girl had long dark nails. And she grabs my waffle bare hands. So I asked, arent you supposed t o have paper at the end of the cone? She looks at the manager with big eyes. I guessed shocked I asked a BASIC food service protocol??? She grabs another cone from somewhere. I was expecting that she and Manger would do the necessary food health protocols in handling food.
