Stopped by Crumbl on Thursday, January 22nd around 5:30 p.m. and ordered through the tablet…read more Ordering was easy. I got four cookies: chocolate chip, peanut butter & jelly, brown sugar Pop-Tart, and strawberry shortcake. I watched the two employees make my order, but there was no greeting, no eye contact, nothing. They just called my name when it was ready and that was it. When I got home for family dessert, I noticed a few issues. The presentation wasn't great, and some of the cookies weren't even made right. The strawberry shortcake had one strawberry and barely any crumble on top. The peanut butter & jelly ended up being just a plain peanut butter cookie with no jelly or filling at all, which was disappointing. The chocolate chip was good, like always, and the brown sugar Pop-Tart cookie was easily the best one out of the box. The only real reason Crumbl is convenient is because there are so many Crumbl locations in the Central Valley. I honestly wish an Insomnia Cookies would open up out here -- it'd be nice to have another option, especially if their cookies are better. Between the wrong cookies, lack of presentation, and no customer interaction, this one lands at 3 stars. Maybe next time they'll get it right and earn a higher score, but we'll see.

You will be guaranteed a long wait time if using the curbside pick-up option. I have learned this in the short amount of time the Manteca store has been open. However, my final straw was being made to wait just over 25 minutes for my curbside order before I finally gave up and walked into the empty store. This is all while the app had said my order had been completed 20 minutes prior! 2-3 other customers who arrived after me also chose instead to go inside to pick up after a long wait, as well. I have worked in customer service, and fast food. I know about being swamped and understaffed. Things happen. What really shocked me, however, was my long wait wasn't even acknowledged by the employee in the store--even though I was clearly frustrated. My box was also completed, just sitting on the counter, ready for me to come into the store and get it. On top of that, the cookies were dripping sauce and the bottom of the box had more crumbs of the toppings than were actually on the cookies themselves. This store should consider not offering curbside pick-up, since it's not an actual option. Or hire more staff so they can handle the demand of the area.

Kay's Creations offer Filipino American fusion items like Cheeseburger Lumpia and desserts (French macarons). Friendly service, low/moderate prices ($10-$15), and only waited ~10 minutes for the food. My family opted to share the Hawaiian Chicken Plate, which came with their signature fried mochiko chicken. Literally so fire...I was in awe with how tender the chicken was with the outside crispiness from the mochiko flour. The seasoning and glaze on that needs to be discussed as well because yummy in my tummy for real. Sweet and savory! Good rice portion and I liked how their Mac salad had a more subtle mayoey flavor while still being creamy. Will be back and can't wait to try more of their menu items (:

Usually I'm used to ridiculous restaurant prices but the onigiri was $4.50 and the snack mix was $5. The lumpia was actually pretty delicious! And presentation was beautiful. The birria I think was more for dipping than sipping bc it was pretty salty. Will definitely be trying the rest of their menu when they're back! My sister tried the cheeseburger lumpia and it got good reviews!

On my first visit, I tried their ensaymadas (oreo and green tea) and a flavor of each of their silvanas (Oreo, Ube, Pistachio, cashew). Again, never had these before and we were excited to try everything. Delicious! the silvanas are perfect tiny snack-size and tried different flavors. On our second visit, I got their 6" sansrival cake (half pistachio/half cashew). It's like a bigger version of the silvanas. On our first visit, they had them in the case and said those are pre-ordered and looked so pretty in the case. Good to know for future visits so I called but they did not answer. I know it's bc they were busy w/customers! so sent them an Instagram DM and were able to accommodate my same-day order request. The staff was friendly and welcoming. A line quickly formed after we arrived, so you know they're good! I look forward to future visits to try other items. I saw they have coffee too and a corn dessert. At the time of this review, they're opened Friday, Sat, Sun only. check out their IG: ellis.creamery I hope they can open daily so I can stop by when I get a craving!
