I had already been having such a hard morning and had been crying. I originally stopped at ELIYANNA CAFE just hoping to get a cup of coffee, slow my day down, and give myself a little pick me up, but unfortunately I had such a terrible customer service experience that I actually left feeling even worse. After that, I came here because I wanted to grab some donuts for the kids, and I am so glad I did. I wish I had gotten the woman's name because she was absolutely wonderful. We started talking a little bit, and I think she could probably tell I was having a hard day. She treated me with so much kindness, patience, and genuine warmth. It was not anything huge or over the top, but that is exactly the point. Sometimes a small act of kindness from a stranger can mean so much more than they realize. She made me feel welcome. She made me feel seen. And after the kind of morning I had been having, that meant everything to me. I walked in feeling completely defeated and walked out feeling lighter and genuinely grateful. That is what good customer service is about. It is not just taking an order or handing someone their food. It is how you make people feel while they are there. Thank you so much to the woman who helped me today. You probably have no idea how much your kindness meant to me, but you completely changed the direction of my morning.
