I ordered the mango matcha latte and it was THE best matcha I've ever had in the 209. The matcha was perfect and the mango actually shows up in the drink which gives it such a fruity and refreshing taste. They do fruity matchas WELL here. I also picked up a caprese sandwich as a lunch and loved the fact chips come with your sandwich orders! Ohana is definitely THE BEST!!
When I arrived it was packed felt very crowded tables too closed to each other just felt overwhelming to me. I am sure when it's not too busy the vibe pretty chill. Service great young lady super helpful and definitely knew her drinks. I do like a place that actually offers real food and not just pastries. Drink- I order Butter Cookie Matcha it was too sweet for me & butter cookie overly took flavor away from the matcha. For someone that likes sweet this maybe your drink. Location is great plenty of parking. Definitely I would go back
Visited family and stumbled upon Ohana Cafe! I tried the biscoff latte while my brother tried the mango matcha and we INHALED those drinks. It was so good and I loved that the biscoff latte was true to its name, whereas I feel like other cookie-flavored lattes I've tried, the cookie taste is very faint. Parking is plenty and the inside is very study/work-friendly. Glad to see more quality coffee shops around Stockton!
Went here on two different times to try there iced matchas out. I like the location, very hidden and not on a busy street. Very calm and peaceful. I tried both the banana and cookie butter matcha. Both flavors were really good. I just hoped they can add more matcha in their drinks. I like a little bit more of a matcha taste in my matcha drinks. Nonetheless the drinks were still good. One of the better matcha/coffee shops I have tried in the city. Will definitely be back. I want to try there matcha flight they offer. Gives the people more opportunity to try other flavors for one great price! Overall I give this cafe a solid 4/5 star review. Will definitely be back at this cafe when I'm on this side of the city.
We finally made it in to Ohana Cafe after my daughter saw them on TikTok. There was a line out the door when we arrived and it only got longer as we were there. Even though the line appeared super long, seemed to go by fast. My oldest wanted to try their Thai Tea with Banana Foam but they were all sold out of Thai Tea. We ended up ordering 3 drinks, Tigers Blood Lemonade, Iced Matcha with Banana Cold Foam and Vietnamese Coffee with Banana Cold Foam. We were able to snag a table while waiting for our drink. The drinks were made hella fast. My Vietnamese Coffee with Banana Cold Foam was amazing. One of the best banana foams I've had yet! My daughter said the same about her matcha. My youngest loved her Tigers Blood Lemonade. Hopefully we can make our way back to try the flights!!! And some of the yummy looking food.
It is a shame because I do really like the flavors of the drinks here. I came in and asked for light ice in my drink but the attendant helping me wrote xtra ice in the cup. I was at first just going to the coffee anyway even if it wasn't what I wanted but then upon lifting it felt that the cup was really heavy. The barista when "remaking" it proceeded to scoop out the ice also taking a lot of the coffee out and just put the cream back on top. When handing my drink back, coffee was spilling over on the sides of the cup. I decided to just ask for refund at this point. Very dissatisfied.
I love that there's a matcha place in town! It is a good option to have, but not centrally located. Personally out of the way for me, but if I'm ever nearby this would be a great place to stop. The price was kind of pricy so that could deter people. Will come back if I'm in the area and need a pick me up drink.
Love Ohana - everyone is always so kind and generous. They have such a good atmosphere 10/10 recommend them to anyone. The food is also amazing the chicken sandwich is sooo worth it!
Visiting from San Francisco - literally visited 3 times because we were OBSESSED with the creative drinks. I've never had a matcha flight before - we literally got 2 flights to try every flavor. Great activity to do with friends and pretty fairly priced for the 4 drinks. Filled up 2-3 people easily. Found myself loving the banana matcha and ocean matcha the most! Chipotle chicken sandwich was pretty yummy! Honestly more here for the drinks though. Could not help but get Vietnamese coffee with banana foam every time! Good amount of seating - they made the most out of the small space. Did feel a little cramp, especially with rushes since the line just goes straight through the middle of the space. I would have never imagined this cute Trader Joe's-esque cafe was sandwiched between these other storefronts in this business center.
Came here after seeing a post on instagram about their banana cold foam. We walked in and it smelled amazing. It was pretty busy but there was plenty of seating available. We ordered a Vanilla Chai with pistachio cold foam and a Vietnamese Coffee with Banana cold foam. I was blown away by the banana flavor, would recommend to all banana lovers. Their matcha also sounded tempting and I would consider their matcha flight next time. I love supporting local coffee shops, and although I don't work or live nearby I would go out of my way to come here again.
Tried their matcha flight with oat milk (!) and the variety of options was impressive. I'd say my ranking in descending order is: 1. POG (passion, orange, guava): love the strong tropical flavor and how it didn't overpower the matcha 2. Cookie butter: this was sweet which I like and biscoff is one of my fave flavors of anything, but it won't be for everyone. cookie butter foam and actual cookie butter lining the cup kinda overwhelmed the matcha though 3. Ocean (blue matcha/butterfly pea): didn't know what to expect with this flavor. the blue matcha is actually the base and the regular matcha is the foam, so the matcha flavor wasn't as strong, but it wasn't too sweet at all and the blue matcha was super mild 4. Raspberry: unique and a strong raspberry flavor (cold foam on top and puree on the bottom), but the matcha flavor kinda got lost. maybe this was a ratio problem since the cups in the flight were small, so I'd give this the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure it's good in a standard cup size! I've also tried their banana matcha, which was creamy and refreshing; the matcha quality was decent (although could've been stronger) and I love that they use real banana for their in-house banana cold foam. Tried a few sips of their strawberry matcha too which was also yummy (strawberry cold foam on top and some strawberry puree on the bottom). Overall, the banana and the POG matchas get my strongest rec!
OHANA cafe is consistently great!! We love the BLT's... the sourdough is toasted perfectly!!! Still soft to enjoy not overly toasted so crispy and hard like other places normally do. They make the perfect sandwich for breakfast or lunch or anytime. Try it... you can really enjoy the fresh lettuce, tomato... veggies, perfectly made every time. I am a cold brew or Americano person but today I tried the strawberry Nutella Matcha. That is the most heavenly drink I probably ever had anywhere. Needless to say I have to watch my sugars. But it is going to be my special treat. It is super good! Mahalo Ohana Cafe!!
Ohana means matcha... My sister and I were so excited to try this new spot! We are always on the hunt for cafes in/near the 209 -- especially cafes to study at. The surrounding area is really nice and relaxing, despite being near healthcare offices. Lots of parking available and the cafe has a gender neutral bathroom! Great WiFi and decent amount of seating. Kind of small inside though and hope they expand in the future. The menu is pretty extensive for both drinks and food. There were even "off menu" items available on colorful signs like Dubai Mocha or Chai Tea Flight. I particularly enjoyed how many different flavors they had for the cold foam. Perfect for the matcha flight option if you'd like to try different kind of flavors! I'm forever a vanilla gurl so I opted for that, whereas my sister experimented with the banana and raspberry. Their cold foam be thickkkk and exquisite let me tell you. The banana cold foam came with banana chips and it tasted like real banana (okay #win). I would've liked some banana pudding aspect or nilla cookie action, but it still done did the job. The raspberry matcha even came with the puree which was just perfectly sweet and smooth. It did overpower the matcha, so I'd suggest getting a large. The matcha itself was a huge highlight. Like they are fr shading the tea leaves and grounding them right here in Stockton I'm not kidding. Creamy, sweet, and no bitterness with a very subtle umami flavor. Turkey pesto wasn't anything new, but they had this sandwich PACKED like they don't hold back on their meat or serving size. My sister and I tore this down to the paper wrapping. The pesto was delicious and I would definitely order this again too. Really solid spot and I've been craving their matcha ever since. Great study spot and they don't close super early! Just wish it was closer.
Very cute coffee shop. Very Aloha vibes Ordered my drinks for pick up via DoorDash. Staff were friendly upon walking in. Drinks were ready as needed. Matcha Cloud - 8/10 "Caramel" Latte with Ohana Made Banana Cream Cold Foam - 7/10 Mahalo! read more
First time trying their Biscoff Latte, and I'm a fan! I do prefer my coffee a bit stronger, though, so I'll be trying their Vietnamese coffee next time. My niece also loves their Turkey Pesto Sandwich. They also offer a variety of food options, including sandwiches, as well as drinks like matcha and smoothies. Overall, it's a decent coffee shop in the area with reasonable prices. read more

This place was very busy! Must be popular. I ordered the matcha flight. I appreciate their variety in matcha flavors. I usually get my matcha's half sweet but in this case I didn't, but I should have. The flight was too sweet. My favorite one was Cookie Butter! Second favorite was the taro. So I decided to get a small size cookie butter half sweet with oat milk. Unfortunately it was still too sweet. I would definitely come back to try something different. Maybe a coffee! Their food items look good. read more

First time visiting this local coffee shop. Loved the friendly environment and decor. It provided a sense of a little vacation away from routine. The coffee was fresh and not burnt. The ladies working there were friendly, kind and attentive. They were patient with us new customers and even provided suggestions. We tried a hot americano with lavender syrup and cream, iced vanilla latte, and the suggested chicken chipotle ciabatta sandwich. There is WiFi access and comfortable tables to work on a quick school project or to have a little reading session with amazing drinks. read more
Came in for the banana matcha latte and it was decent. A nice cream top and good matcha flavor. I also like that they put cream on the bottom. Plenty of seating inside, but not outside. So don't bring your pet. Service was friendly and quick. read more

This was a great little find out in Stockton. We were camping close by and I had to drive into Stockton to grab some things at the store. I looked up matcha and was delighted to see a cafe with so many not only matcha options, but other wonderfully looking drinks as well. My main intent was to order iced matcha lattes so we picked up one of those, strawberry matcha lattes, a hojicha latte, banana matcha latte, biscoff latte and an iced caramel latte with banana cream cold foam. Everything was delicious. You could taste the matcha and hojicha and the quality was good as well. They had a Dubai drink which I would have tried but they were out of the chocolate bar. Lots of options for everyone! read more
Both the coffee and matcha were really good! Will go back for those. We also tried an egg cheddar croissant sandwich and an egg bacon sandwich. Those were just ok. The croissant was burnt. Customer service could be a little better. Literally none of the 4 workers in the front would acknowledge nor smile. The place looked nice and already busy with multiple tables taken. We went on a Tuesday morning and didn't expect to be cut in line by 2 rude ladies running late for work. However, our food and drinks came out fast. Got them and left. Overall, okay experience and good drinks! read more

Entered into Ohana Cafe and saw immediately that this place is popular. They offer great coffee, tea, matcha drinks. But they also offer a variety of breakfast and snack items. I also saw that they offer drink flights. I had the iced matcha with banana cold foam and it is probably the best banana matcha drink I've had. The matcha was sweet and smooth, but the banana foam was soooo good. I'm not from this area, but definitely would like to make a stop here every time I'm in the area. read more

Keeping this one short and sweet. Came here with my cousin recently. Iced Banana Matcha Lattes with a banana cold foam are one of my new found favorite drinks so I had to order theirs. Maybe a controversial take on this subject but I like to taste concentrated flavors for the most part and often times I feel the concentrated artificial flavors can in a sense taste more like a given item like a fruit. Example would be watermelon shakes/smoothies, blend up watermelon and you're left with a watery full drink once you've mixed in the ice etc. The short version here is that I had asked for extra banana syrup in my matcha. The girl said they make their in house that goes into the drink and is used for the cold foam; I went on with my order. When I took that first sip I realized they used real bananas for their cold foam and as the banana flavor at the bottom of my matcha too. Had I known that their house-made banana syrup was basically just puréed or blended banana, as opposed to an actual syrup/sauce, I never would have ordered it. So I guess this would have been more of a service issue with communication as opposed to an issue with the quality of the drink. While the matcha itself was pretty good, it wasn't what I was prepared to order. It just didn't stack up to the banana matcha at my usual spot. It almost seems unfair to give them a 3 BUT being that this is my only experience I'd have to give them a 3/5. It's a cute little cafe though with a decent number of tables. Seems like a spot a lot of people come to study and get some work done. read more

Ohana has quickly become my favorite cafe in Stockton. They have some of the best matcha in the area. When you walk in the ambiance is welcoming and upbeat. A lot of people come here to study and socialize, and you are immediately welcomed with smiles and kindness. We have tried all of their matcha flavors and our go to orders have become the cookie butter matcha and the coconut matcha. The owner once offered us an off menu coconut matcha affogato and it was incredible! We will be ordering this as soon as they make it available. They also offer a matcha flight so you can sample multiple flavors, so if you have the time I highly suggest that you try this atleast once. This is such an awesome place. read more

Banana match 10/10. Customer service 2/10. first time trying it and the girl that rang me up, no expression on her face, didn't even greet. i paid she just stayed quiet, didn't even say "it'll be right out or wait on the seat" nothing. so i walked away completely lost. waited for my matcha about 10 min. they just put it on the counter without calling out my name ? i had to physically go and check to see if it was mine! very unpleasant customer service from all the workers there. do better. read more

Trying out new coffee spot is one of my faves. I got to try this spot out back in October. Had this place bookmarked for so long and was able to try it out. This spot was busy and I beat the coffee rush line in a few min in the morning. Ordered a lavender latte, hot chocolate for my mom and an avocado toast. Will have to come back to try the coffee flights. read more

The inside is pretty small, super cute decor and welcome and light. My sandwich was so good 10/10. The customer service could have a been a bit better. I have been twice so far. Took a few minutes to get acknowledged by the staff. I did see some food go on the counter but I never heard anyone call a name about 10 mins later a guy came up asking if it was his. It was which was great but kind of sucks no one called his name. read more

My sister in law gave us a recommendation to try Ohana cafe in Stockton and I am glad we did. We had different matcha drinks, the taro latte and a mocha and these drinks were amazing. What i loved was the fact that the drinks were not overly sweet which is something I don't like. The service was great and the ladies were so friendly and helpful. The cafe has a few seats and is on the smaller side but it is a place with great drinks and food. It feels like family and it does the name justice. Will go again tomorrow for sure. read more
