This might be my new favorite tea place! Despite the location, the interior is super cute and very instagram worthy. The staff is very friendly and welcoming but if you don't love ordering in person, they have a nice new kiosk where you can do everything without ever talking to a person. They have some delicious and unique options here and I love that you can personalize the drinks. The Red Bean Matcha Marble is maybe the best milk tea I have ever had. It's more like a dessert that you drink. The Thai Green Tornado with Puff Cream is a close second and more like a tea, not as thick as the matcha. The drinks here are fantastic. I will say that I upped the sweetness and the person making the drinks came out to check with me and make sure I wanted them that sweet. I would advise you to go with their recommended sweetness levels as they know what they are doing and I definitely had a sugar high after not listening. It's nice that they care about their customers and their product. There are so many other flavors I can't wait for my next visit and I highly encourage you to sop here and give them a try. They pride themselves on using real fruit, real sugar, and real ingredients. Their menu is expansive, and can be a little daunting, but if you're ever unsure, they're certainly there to help. I was doing laundry nearby Tea 86. I was feeling a little parched and wanted to try out some drinks from there. As soon as I went in, I noticed how cute the place was. The aesthetic was very darling. It makes you want to sit down and enjoy your food and drink there. I had a young lady helped me, and she was very attentive and friendly. Noticed I was new and told me about their drink cup sizes. New boba spot I tried while visiting my sisters in the 209. They are boba connoisseurs to say the least but they haven't tried this spot therefore it made sense to go and see if this spot would be added to our favs. We ordered matcha latte, velvet crème brûlée matcha, oolong tee and a sparkling tea (can't remember the name) and all the drinks were delicious! I was savoring every sip, and the honey boba was cooked just right, soft and sweet. The flavors were spot on and good amount of sweetness. Oh, also ordered the fried calamari and popcorn chicken and the food was also on point! Just wish the portion was a little more :) service was great and it was so cute and clean inside. Once inside, it's a decently decorated and spacious store that serves reasonably priced boba drinks. You have a choice of ordering at the counter or via a kiosk located to right of store. I came to Tea 86 with my four kids to beat the heat, and we were greeted right away by the owner -- who actually did my nails once before opening this shop! That was such a cool full-circle moment. We decided to order from the kiosk so the kids could take their time looking through all the options. We ended up getting six drinks and two snacks, and everything came out pretty fast, which was impressive considering how much we ordered. The only odd moment was while a male staff member was trying to take an order from a group of ladies -- they seemed more focused on peeking into the back of the shop and trying to talk to the owner, who I'm sure was busy making drinks. It felt a little awkward, but that's not on the staff -- they handled it well. I also really appreciated that the shop was nice and cool inside, especially on such a hot day. And this might not be a big deal to everyone, but for me, a clean restroom is a major plus -- and theirs was spotless. Good job, Tea 86! read more

Tea86 is tucked away in the corner of a desolate plaza. Not the nicest area but parking is ample and seating is plentiful and the staff are so friendly it made my day. I was recommended a sweetness level of 75% based on my order but I opted for 50% sweet for my taro milk tea and I was satisfied. The taro component was creamy and rich while the milk tea component was very milky (they do upcharge for alternative milks). Mixing the drink created a nice flavor profile. Would stop by again if in the area but wouldn't go out of my way considering price and location. read more

Cute place and great service! The Vietnamese coffee with sea salt cream was perfect. The pearl milk tea was also good (although I like boba a little more firm). The popcorn chicken (I ordered extra crispy) was perfectly crispy and still tender + very generous portion + tasting seasoning salt & paprika = awesome! The fried tofu (also ordered extra crispy) was crispy yet also had a great mochi-like chew and was soft inside + same seasoning salt & paprika was perfect sprinkled in top. One thing I didn't like was that they put too much ice in a drink, it fills up like ¾ of a cup, and you have to ask for it to be less ice. Tea 86 is located in a quiet and spacious plaza with plenty of parking. It does not look that big from the exterior, but the interior is spacious/spread out. There are some seating here as well for you to chill and enjoy your boba. I finally get to try them, since the first time I stopped by, they were closed due to an emergency. I tried their Jasmine Milk Tea with boba and Mango Smootea with Cheese Foam + boba. The milk tea tasted like sweet milk with not much of a tea taste to it. The boba was a bit on the harder side, as well as too sugary - it altered the drink with the strong brown sugar taste and made the milk tea taste like a cup of brown sugar cereal milk after mixing. The mango drink was a bit on the icier side, it tasted more like sugary dried mangos blended in the smoothie, rather than fresh/real mangos. read more
