Stopped by after a health fair to grab their GIANT sushi combo and boba to sit down and catch up. When we got there in the early evening on a Saturday, it was pretty busy. Our huge order probably didn't make it any easier but we did have to wait for maybe 40 minutes until everything was ready. We just ordered on the kiosk and didn't order ahead so that's on us. All the rolls in here were pretty good! BUT one of my friend chomped on something really hard (might have been a fried garlic piece that was too hard to chew on) As for the boba, I ordered the tea latte in the middle of my pic. The seating is mainly bar-style, not much room for bigger groups so keep that in mind. They have a great menu--lots and lots of things to try out. We tried the green thai tea with boba, lemon fruit tea, and the Half Moon Bay roll. The Half Moon Bay roll was very tasty, but I do wish it was a little bigger, especially with the price being $16. Serving it in a to-go tray is smart, especially if your patrons don't finish or are saving it for later, but it does make it feel a little cheap. The drinks were good! Picked up lunch for the crew today from Boba & Rolls. I'm not usually one for boba, but I'm always up for sushi and they did not disappoint. The rolls were gone so quick we forgot to get a picture of them. We ordered a couple of the lunch trays, and my favorites were the hot bae and soft launch rolls. Both had real heat to them, which I always appreciate. Our order came out in less than 30 minutes and everything was fresh. When I first walked in, I was surprised on how nice the interior was and the large selection of sushi on the menu. The sushi seemed to be decently priced so I decided to try it. I wasn't sure what to get so I asked the guy at the counter what he recommended for drinks. He was nice enough to ask me if I wanted a strong tea flavor and drink sweetness. He highly suggested the Jasmine Milk Tea and Black Milk Tea. I chose the Black Milk Tea, Matcha Latte, and After School Roll. I waited about ~5 minutes for drinks and a bit longer for sushi, which I didn't mind since they had just opened as a soft opening. The staff were very friendly as they also chatted with me as I waited, so that was nice. I was very pleasant with the strong tea flavor of the Black Milk Tea. Although I ordered less sweetness, it was still a good sweetness without being overpowering like other boba tea shops. It was a great pick for a sweet pick-me-up. The Matcha Latte was shockingly smooth. I'm usually hesitant to order Matcha Lattes at new places but this one passed the test! It was definitely on the sweeter side but you can still taste the earthy, slight bitter taste of the matcha. Finally, the After School roll. I was craving for something citrusy and light. There was a decent amount of fish, which I liked. The thin slices of lime were not too overwhelming. I would rate it a 7/10. I liked the portion size of the sushi for the price.
