So was this a me issue or a them issue? I'll have to come back and see. Came to Stockton to have my phone repaired. Came here to get sushi while I waited. My allergies were KILLING ME but I still needed food nonetheless. Came in as soon as they opened, I was the first one in. Maybe it's just me, but I think when a restaurant opens, you should be ready, maybe not 100% but, at least to start orders. Anyways, it took me a bit to go over the menu and finally order. In that time the 2 people working the sushi counter were getting read still. In my mind, if you have a customer who had placed an order and there's 2 of you, the. 1 person should continue the prep and the other person should work on the order asap. It took a while to even get started on my order. When the food came out at first glance it looked pretty good. But I had already noticed that they had a pile of tempura shrimp in a container behind the bar. Meaning it's been cooked and just sitting out. Meaning when I took that first bite, as expected, the tempura shrimp was in fact soft and soggy. I order rolls with tempura shrimp because I love that crunchy texture contrast. The other roll with the tempura salmon on the other hand was much better with more freshly fried salmon so it had a better crunch. Not the tightest roll and 1 roll had too much rice overlap but it was fine. Because I'm not a sushi/sashimi purist, but more of a flavor combo guy, this place appeals to me from the standpoint of the rolls. I love flavor combinations with sauce as long as the roll isn't drenched. Overall, the flavors of the rolls were pretty decent but didn't pop. Was that my allergies keeping me from enjoying them as much? I'll have to come back and give them another shot. Side note Meta Glasses come in clutch when you don't have your phone for any reason. The server was very pleasant btw and checked on me frequently enough.

The soup was full of cabbage and carrots, barely any zucchini. Broth was ok. It did come with veggie tempura; which some were undercooked and firmer than desired. Disappointing and I would not get again.
Saw Sushi Hub on Instagram and knew we had to give it a try. Lots on the menu to pick from. Couldn't decide on what to get so we engaged up with the gyoza and house salad to start. Oh and sake bombs! great service there too! Got a little busy but the server held it down while attentive to all tables
I was craving some sushi but also wanted miso soup. Found Sushi Hub was near my travels, so stopped by. It was just what I needed! My server was welcoming, the music was comforting and the lighting bright enough. I ordered the side salad, miso and a dragon roll. Every item was delicious! Highly recommend Sushi Hub.
Great service! Clean environment, friendly staff, sushi was amazing! My niece enjoyed the sushi and sashimi!
This place is good! Came here on a whim and will be coming back. We ordered poke nachos- huge portion with spicy tuna, chicken karaage- the batter was sooo good, and the night out roll- the rice was perfect proportion to all the toppings. It's small and intimate inside, very attentive service. Also I loved their playlist!
I used to come here with my kids all the time. Can't beat the prices for the quality you get. We've tried pretty much everything on the menu and it's all delicious! The service is great, all staff are so friendly and attentive making our visits always so pleasant. Inside is dark but plenty of light and seating.
I saw a Instagram post about this place and had to come check it out. I have never in my life seen a short rib roll and it lived up to all of his expectations. The atmosphere is so clean and the staff are so nice. the food was amazing. I highly recommend.
Such a fun find! My husband and I came in on a whim and were so surprised! The interior is moody and relaxing but still family friendly. They were playing great music, and the vibe was great. We got a bento box and a sushi roll and it was more than enough for the two of us, definitely get bang for your buck. Unlike a lot of places everything was decently priced. The food was delicious, and the service was so friendly. The waitresses were consistently checking in with us and were very friendly. Like any sushi place expect a little wait for your food, it came out beautiful and hot Ann was our main waitress and did a great job. It's our new in town sushi spot for sure :)
Pros: -Portion size was nice. -The katsu was good. -Salad that came with the bento was good. -Service was friendly. Cons: -The sushi for me was not great. The sushi rice was a bit bland and on the harder side.

‼HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHECKING THIS PLACE OUT‼ This place is hidden in the corner of the plaza where dollar tree is. The restaurant wasn't super busy yet because we came at 4pm. We were warmly welcomed in and seated quick. The decoration is pretty and simple. They only have one bathroom. We were seated at the bar, it was nice to see our sushi made fresh in front of us. Shoutout to our waitress Ann!!! She's super sweet and took care of us so well. All the sushi we ordered tasted flavorful and fresh. You can tell that their seafood is fresh because it didn't have that fishy flavor or that rotten seafood texture that is bitter. Their water tastes refreshing as if they hiked to the highest most pure glaciers because it tasted so crisp and clean. Their sake was good too and their beer tower. The ramen broth was so rich and delicious, we cleaned our bowls and licked the inside. We enjoyed eating all the sushi rolls, they all tasted different and unique. Definitely coming back again because their service and food is above 9000.

One of the only places I could find that serves mixed nigiri without having to order one at a time. Delicious and fresh. Beautifully presented. Ambiance was intimate. Low lighting and calming. Has a bar if you wanna eat alone. Service was good. Regularly checked in on me. read more

We came to Sushi Hub around 5:30 pm and at first it was nice and quiet with just a couple of tables. I had a couple of Sapporo beers, and we started with appetizers such as the the chicken karaage and spicy edamame which was the favorite at our table!! We ordered four rolls and a ramen bowl to share, all fresh and flavorful. Partway through, Ua the owner stopped by to say hello and even let us try one of his new sakes that personal touch really made the meal feel special!!!! By the time we finished, the place had filled up and was buzzing for a Thursday night, which felt like a good sign. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Definitely a spot I'll recommend to friends. read more

I visited Sushi Hub for the first time on Friday, 2/2/24, around noon for lunch. Upon entrance, I immediately noticed the beautiful decorations inside the restaurant. The overall ambiance was inviting yet quiet and chill. I decided to order the Sunset Roll, Rainbow Roll, and Hamachi (Yellowtail) Hand Roll. All of the rolls were tasty from start to finish. The quality of the fish was greatly fresh as well. If I had to pick a favorite, I truly favored the Sunset Roll the most. I also liked how each roll was fairly priced. As far as the beverage, I got the Strawberry Banana smoothie. It was fruity and refreshing. The customer service was pleasant. The server was sweet, attentive, and helpful. At the end of the visit, I was able to check into Yelp and received a 15% discount on the entire bill. It knocked off $5 from the original bill. I was super pleased with that phenomenal deal. All in all, the inside of the restaurant is wonderful and the sushi rolls are impeccably flavorful, affordable, and great in quality. I recommend coming here and I will be returning. read more
Service was great. Ambiance was good. Menu was a black and white PDF but it did the job. My table and chair were both wobbly. Food was good. Sushi rolls were very good. Volcano roll was topped with a lot of imitation crab and tempura flakes, maybe a little too much it the roll itself was yummy. Curry rice plate was underwhelming. Stopped at Sushi Hub with my boyfriend when we were in Stockton for the day. I found this place on Yelp and their menu looked pretty promising. I got a Lion King Roll which is my usual sushi order. It tasted standard and just as I expected it would be. Their presentation of our food was really nice, they served it with dry ice. Overall, a decent place to grab sushi. read more

I absolutely love this place! It's by Inshape on Pershing and they take you even if you come in close to closing. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. It's my favorite sushi spot in Stockton. I always recommend it to people. The decor is nice and simple and they always play the best songs. read more

Amazing food. Lowkey hidden spot of Stockton. Waitress was really nice to us. We had a specific order on our ramen and they made it wrong yet she pushed it back and made sure it was right. A little wait doesn't hurt knowing someone put effort into my order. read more

Everyone is always super friendly when we come in, and know our favorite spot to sit. The food is exceedingly delicious, reasonably priced and in large enough portions to leave you feeling full. I try something different every time, and haven't been disappointed. The music has also always been a wide variety but extremely enjoyable. Tempura is crispy, mochi is chewy, fish is fresh and succulent. It's also the first place I've had an onion ring on a sushi roll, and that was pretty great. read more

I tried it out since it's right next to the InShape Gym and was an easy walk. I was thoroughly impressed by the sushi and the quality of the fish and the sushi rolls. I only tried one roll and one appetizer which was the Salmon Skin roll and the Hamachi Carpaccio. The roll was really good and flavorful and if there's one thing you def def should try is the carpaccio, it was soooo flavorful, salty, a little sweet, and even refreshing. will def be back!! Service from the waiter was amazing, super nice! read more

Yes, they have a variety of vegan options like the vegan roll, tofu sukiyaki, veggie curry and some other sushi and appetizer items. Went there today for the Vegan Chef Challenge and everything was delicious!
