Volcano and Houston rolls.

Ordered the Volcano and Houston sushi rolls. Big portion pieces and great value, I'm very pleased and will definitely be back!

bento box katsu chicken + tempura

I love matsuyama. I love their bento boxes, i always go for chicken katsu with tempura veggies + shrimp. The portions are good and it comes with miso soup. My favorite roll and a roll I think everyone should give a go is their volcano roll. It's a little on the spicy spicy side and it looks like a volcano!!! WITH LAVA!!

Food just sitting out waiting for someone

This has got to be the worst sushi place in town :( When we arrived we were told to "sit down" as the hostess/waitress pointed to a table and walked away. My arm literally stuck to the table and, when we were finally brought menus, I had to ask the employee to wipe down the table for us. It was gross. The menus themselves had a good selection of rolls so I tried to stay optimistic. We each ordered two rolls for a total of 6 for the table. As we waited for our food, I noticed bags of take out on a table in the middle of the restaurant. As I looked at them, a waitress walked over and added another bag. There was no one seated at the table. A few minutes later, a woman came in for "take out" and the cashier asked her for the name, then pointed to the table. She walked over and picked out the one with her name on it and left the others. What? Excuse me? So they basically put people's food out in the middle of the restaurant to sit until they come pick it up? Lazy and disgusting! We ordered: The Matsuyama Roll, The Black Dragon Roll, The Tiger Roll, The King's Roll, The Island Roll, and the BBQ Salmon Maki. The island Roll we gave 2/5. The nuts added nice flavor and the honey sauce was ok, but tasted more teriyaki than honey-like. The BBQ Salmon Maki was almost inedible! think burnt and yet raw salmon with some crappy BBQ sauce and cucumbers. Not very appetizing. 0/5. The Matsuyama Roll was ok. It tasted more like a salad with dressing on it than a sushi roll... 2/5. The King's Roll was the favorite for all of us and was still just average - 3/5 at best. The yellow pickle in the Tiger Roll was a nice touch and so we gave it 2/5 and The black Dragon Roll was also just short of mediocre at 2/5 as well. The interior is small and stuffy and not clean at all and we could not wait to leave. Same boring presentation on every roll and no idea how to mix sweet, sour and spicy flavors. A huge disappointment. This place is less than 5 minutes from my house and I will not be returning. We all left very disappointed.

Crazy monkey roll. Awesome!

Doesn't disappoint. Try the volcano or crazy monkey. Everything is so fresh!. I love that we can get fresh sushi in Galt now! Stephen is wonderful! Thank you!

Everything came out fresh and nicely plated without feeling overdone. The specialty roll with salmon and spicy sauce had great balance, and the fish tasted clean and fresh. The California roll was simple but well made, which honestly says a lot. The edamame was hot and perfectly salted. The house salad with dressing was light and flavorful. The udon vegetable soup was comforting and filling with fresh vegetables and soft noodles in a flavorful broth. Service was attentive and friendly. It was fairly loud during our visit, but the staff stayed on top of everything and we never felt ignored. The space felt clean with warm wood tables and modern touches. We finished with a vanilla ice cream dessert, "waffle ice cream" topped with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle, which was simple and fun to share. I strongly recommend the double Alba roll for a spicy tuna experience. It was just phenomenal, so much so that I bought one to go as I was signing my bill I need it for breakfast the next day. Amazing. Surface was good, it's a team effort so don't expect one really good server just a lot of different servers. Prices were reasonable but again, this is five star sushi. By any standard this is exceptional!

Had the nicest and quietest dinner here last night. This was our first time and while it's a really…read moresmall little dining room, the low lighting and light jazz music playing in their sound system made it extra cozy and nice. We were the only customers and got there around 6:30. My only critique is that there were a lot of employees and we were the only patrons, yet our two servers did seem distracted and forgot a couple of things throughout the meal. I'm giving grace for that because it was a very slow night and they were probably just chit chatting in the back. I would've had no issue giving this 5 stars if it wasn't for that one small thing. Service otherwise was very friendly and quick The food was fantastic! As a Japanese American who's been eating sushi since I was in the womb, I have to disagree with the yelper who recently said the rolls are too small and too expensive. The rolls we ordered were huge and the fish was very fresh and on par with M sushi and Komachi. Is it a luxurious loungy city style vibe? No. But the food is great and the prices are fair imo for the extremely fresh and delicious fish. We ordered two bowls of miso, salmon tataki roll (I only wished for more onions!), the spicy crunchy scallop roll (my new favorite roll in Lodi), snow crab CA roll, and I think the last one was a dragon roll with unagi. They were all great. We were def pleasantly surprised by Yume and will absolutely be coming back.

The ambiance was super clean as well and no issues there. My biggest concern was the food except the unagi which was delicious. The Ramen if I was to rate it would be 2 out of 5 stars. No great flavor and a complete disappointment. I would come back to try more sushi but definitely not the ramen.

I was so excited to try it that I ate the egg roll in my car in the parking lot. It was really good! It was very big and had great flavor. There was also sauce to dip it in. It it was honestly so good I didn't even try the sauce. With an amuse bouche like that I closed up the bag and drove home excitedly anticipating how delicious the rest of the food was going to be. When I arrived home, I was very disappointed. The pork was literally what you get in the freezer aisle at the grocery store and the rice was excessively moist. The whole meal was bland and pretty gross to be honest. The takiyaki was so dry and even the mushroom were shriveled and dehydrated. Although I would not come here again for a meal, I would definitely consider stopping in for another egg roll or two if I wanted a nice snack so if you are thinking of stopping here, do yourself a favor and add an egg roll to your order.

I had my two oldest grandchildren with me and they are adventurous like their Grammy!!!! The three of us chose a dish and one additional which was the steamed pork buns. Our order was take by computer that is in your table. We ordered: Steamed pork buns, shrimp fried rice, orange chicken, and shrimp rice ramen noodle. I will start with the best dishes: I will give the steamed pork buns an AA rating. They were buttery soft and were not filled with pork that has a lot of fat. I don't like biting into my pork bun and bite into a lot of pork that is crunching in my mouth. I hate that!!! This bun is just a little sweet, but tasty. The orange chicken was presented very nicely with thin orange slices decorating the plate. The grandchildren & I really enjoyed this dish. The shrimp fried rice was served cold, but had plenty plump shrimp which surprised me. I am not a fan of peas & carrots but the grandchildren liked it. The shrimp ramen noodle was not a hit with the three of us. It probably would do better as a ramen soup, it lacked in taste big time, so in some broth with a little seasonings I am sure would make a big difference. The plus of this dish was it too had plenty plump shrimp. I don't come out to Trinity Parkway often and I don't know if I would try this place again. The restaurant is not big inside; a little tight. There are some tables for two and some for four. The biggest table is for six and is in the front. Customers were coming in picking up their orders as well as Door Dash & Uber Eats. Our four orders with drinks came up to $73.+
