Great atmosphere, vibes, and service. Sunset iced coffee is really good. Love the plants and decorations.

Had to try this place since it's 4.7 stars. Interior design is upscale kind of cafe. If you like organic coffee and tea this is the right place for it. Service is very friendly and fast. Loved my peach tea. Just right of sweetness for my taste. Then Ben's Fave is also delightful with its hint of hazelnut flavor. I guess we're coming back again when we're in the area.

I've tried a few different places for matcha in Stockton, but this has been my favorite. It's more on the expensive side but it's worth the natural ingredients without syrups. I ordered an iced matcha with strawberry, less sweet. Recommend! Also got a lavender matcha, and it was very subtle; didn't need to order less sweet. Also recommend! If you ask them to make the drink in your own container, they will.

The sweetener part is misleading. It's not just nuts and fruits, they use actual sweeteners like monk fruit, brown sugar, etc. I knew there was no way my drink was that sweet from fruit and nuts alone. Service was okay, not the friendliest of barista who took our order. The girl though who called out our drinks was friendly and told us to taste it and if it needed any adjustments. super small iced coffee for the price. inside was calm and not loud. good place to study or catch up with a friend.

Knowing I had to run an errand in Stockton, I did some research on coffee shops prior to landing on Groundstack Coffee. What sold me on coming here was that they use natural ingredients and steer away from artificial flavors. Located close to UOP, they have a small parking lot for several businesses. Late on a weekday morning, parking wasn't an issue the day I visited. Based on what tried, I think the cold brews are the highlight of the menu. While "Hooked on Wilson" was fine, I didn't really taste much lavender. (It was still a good drink though!) The Presidio was very refreshing, and I really enjoyed this drink since I love the taste of mint. Service was great. Upon discovering I was a new customer the menu was explained and recommendations were offered. I sat and drank my coffee for a short while. There were plenty of tables and chairs. As a side note, getting to restroom requires going through a couple doors and turning a few corners. Very glad I stopped by Groundstack! This great coffee place made my trek to Stockton (from Elk Grove) much more enjoyable.

I'm in town for work. Looked up coffee places by the hotel and wanted something local. Eventually settled on Groundstack. I walked in and was immediately greeted by great customer service. They inquired if it was my first time in and proceeded to breakdown their process (aeropress) to me. Asked me for my typical preferred drink and then recommended their "version". I gave it a shot and simply , wow. DELICIOUS coffee. This place deserves 10 stars.

Way passed breakfast due to a long appointment. Didn't want leave the area without trying a local coffee shop. Came across this gem. Absolutely fantastic coffee! My daughter had the matcha and she said it was perfect. I'll definitely let my friend know who does live in the area to check them out.

My new favorite go to spot!!!! I ordered the hammered with Oatmilk! It never misses! The coffee shop is always clean, love their little library they have in corner there! You can always tell the barista what you like and they will suggest a coffee to your liking!

I was looking to pick up coffee around Stockton and came across Groundstack Coffee. After reading impressive reviews on Yelp, decided to give it a try. Parking was super easy to find outside the coffee shop. It turned out to be one of the best coffees I have had - great cafe, chatted with the owner who recommended a few options. Tried Hanmered, and wow! Very impressive drink with macadamia and coconut flakes. The uniqueness is the french press is made fresh with flavors from real nuts, spices etc - you can actually taste it vs the syrups with loads of sugar. The cafe had good seating to get some work done. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

Ground stack was a completely new concept for me. I've never been to a cafe or coffee shop that didn't have syrups and was basically all natural in flavor. They were super sweet and let us know if we need any adjustments to not hesitate and ask. I'm usually a person who loves sweet coffee but I tried a few drinks especially ben's fave iced latte and the lands end cold brew had such a good strong and prominent flavor.

Amazing Coffee and Matcha! The customer service is great and the owner Mark is very kind and sweet. I got the Ben's Fave as Iced Coffee and Matcha Latte with Oatmilk. You can really taste the flavor and they don't use artificial syrups! They use real ingredients. Please support local.

Solid coffee spot! I'm sad they were out of their matcha but I opted to tried their Lorenzo brew iced as well as their recommendation of "Ben's favorite" also iced. The Lorenzo was solid, nice and strong. The Ben's favorite was not something I would personally choose but it was a good light flavor and I can totally see why it is a favorite for many. The worker was so kind and almost overwhelmed me with options but his passion for his work shined through and as I told him I would rather have more options than less! In my chat with him I did learn their inspiration is Philz coffee and I can completely taste that in their Ben's favorite (it was ever so slightly reminiscent of their Philtered Soul). If you find yourself in the area I recommend you check them out!

The coffee is from Yemen and every drink Ive tried so far has been amazing. The biscoff latte, Dulce de leche, brown sugar oat & peppermint bark! Looking online they don't regularly update their menu, so I snapped a recent picture of the menu for my fellow Yelpers! It appears they also have a changing seasonal menu for their coffees & desserts. All of their treats are homemade and very delicious! I highly recommend buying a treat to go with your drink. For the non-coffee drinkers, they offer matcha, matcha flights, lemonades, refreshers, teas, smoothies and energy drink mixers. The service is great! They are extremely fast serving drinks & food. The line might be long but you won't be waiting long. The lady at the cash register is usually the same person and she's very patient & kind! There was a handful of people in line before me, all seeming to order some kind of latte or matcha. I was almost convinced but I always steer towards an Adeni Chai when at a Yemeni Cafe. I'd describe it as a black milk tea with spices. Make sure to ask for your preferred sweetness as it isn't sweetened by default. The Adeni Chai was served insanely hot but, I enjoyed it when it cooled down and it was great. I tried the Honeycomb Bread (warmed) and would more than likely skip next time. It was a bit more mushy than the other Honeycomb breads I've had in the past. There's a parking lot which is always convenient and there are seats inside if you want to enjoy your treats there. Keep in mind though, it is connected to a small store.

However, the quality of the food and drinks is NOT worth the price. The baristas couldn't tell us much anything about the beans they were using and the store relies mostly on cold foams and Torani syrups for flavors, which is totally fine! There's a market for that- just don't expect specialty coffee here. I wouldn't recommend ANY food besides maybe pastries. Extremely dry and zero flavor. I'm sorry this is so mean but the avocado toast is actually pitiful. You will pay $15+ for a BARELY seasoned avocado, powdered egg (?), tiny thin slice of bread, with two brown strips of bacon on it that you could make better at home (i'm so sorry but it is true). Similar with the breakfast sandwiches. Payed $50 for 2 drinks and 2 breakfast items that were essentially dutch bros quality. TLDR: Worth it if you want to hang out for the lovely seating and ambiance, just be aware that that is what you are paying for- not necessarily the quality of what your will be eating/drinking. Very yummy drinks! Just they just lean sweet. Do not buy food aside from pastries lol.

Cookie butter: this was sweet which I like and biscoff is one of my fave flavors of anything, but it won't be for everyone. cookie butter foam and actual cookie butter lining the cup kinda overwhelmed the matcha though 3. Ocean (blue matcha/butterfly pea): didn't know what to expect with this flavor. the blue matcha is actually the base and the regular matcha is the foam, so the matcha flavor wasn't as strong, but it wasn't too sweet at all and the blue matcha was super mild 4. Raspberry: unique and a strong raspberry flavor (cold foam on top and puree on the bottom), but the matcha flavor kinda got lost. maybe this was a ratio problem since the cups in the flight were small, so I'd give this the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure it's good in a standard cup size! I've also tried their banana matcha, which was creamy and refreshing; the matcha quality was decent (although could've been stronger) and I love that they use real banana for their in-house banana cold foam. Tried a few sips of their strawberry matcha too which was also yummy (strawberry cold foam on top and some strawberry puree on the bottom). Overall, the banana and the POG matchas get my strongest rec!
