Decided to try this new spot in Lodi after seeing all the hype surrounding their matcha. I went with the Double Matcha, and while it was decent, I felt like the matcha flavor was a little lacking. Since I drink matcha pretty often, I tend to prefer a stronger flavor, and this one wasn't quite as bold as I expected. The foam on top was nice, but overall, the drink was more milky and less sweet. I'd probably try their Strawberry Matcha next time to see how it compares. For coffee, we tried the Spanish Latte with Banana Cold Foam. My partner really enjoyed it and said he would definitely order it again. The coffee had a nice, rich flavor, while the banana cold foam added a sweeter touch. The banana flavor was also pretty noticeable, so it's a great option if you enjoy sweeter coffee drinks with a strong banana taste. The café itself was clean, cute, and had a nice atmosphere. The baristas here are genuinely very sweet and kind, so this review is not directed at them. Unfortunately, my experiences with the owner have been consistently disappointing. I've come in multiple times, ordered something different each time, and have repeatedly left disappointed. drinks packed with ice, made incorrectly, or just plain gross. And the owner's ego needs to be kept in check. This isn't based on one bad interaction or just my personal opinion. I've spoken to multiple friends who have gone here, and they've had the exact same experience with him. When you start hearing the same complaints from multiple people, it's hard to see it as an isolated issue. The prices also feel completely unjustified considering the quality and consistency. There seems to be a lot of confidence and ego behind the business, but the actual experience doesn't match it. I've also noticed a pretty obvious difference in the way the owner treats women he seems to find attractive. I've experienced it myself, and I've had multiple people agree that they've noticed the same thing. One day I came in wearing makeup and received noticeably different treatment than I had on previous visits. That kind of behavior is extremely off-putting and unprofessional. The ambiance also leaves a lot to be desired. The space is very cement-heavy, there's barely anywhere to sit, and overall it feels more like a quick-service coffee shop than a true "third place" where you'd actually want to sit, relax, and spend time. There's nothing inherently wrong with a grab-and-go coffee shop, but the atmosphere doesn't really encourage you to stay. The baristas deserve credit for being kind and welcoming, but the owner's attitude, inconsistent drinks, prices, and overall atmosphere have completely overshadowed that for me. There's nothing wrong with having confidence in your business, but when that confidence turns into an ego that affects how you treat customers, it needs to be checked. read more

Uhm YUMMM! It was my first time there and I'm so glad my girls and I went cuz their strawberry matcha was sooo good! Nice balance between sweetness of the strawberry syrup and the matchas slight bitterness. Inside the staff were so welcoming and the seats were perfect for studying or chatting away. Fierro is a cool coffee shop with pretty good drinks. The baristas were friendly and I got my drinks quickly. The overall vibe is very unique which I appreciate! I got the strawberry matcha and it was 10/10 looks but 7/10 taste. Not the worst in Lodi but not the best. I did really like the strawberry syrup but I didn't get enough matcha flavor. We're pretty harsh critics because we've had some of really good matchas and some of the worst, but this one was easily one of the best we've ever had! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I wanted to support a local new coffee shop. However we ordered the Mx mocha and it was disgusting. I wish the cashier or customer service advised us that their Mx mocha had a spicy flavor to it. I came wanting to try the matcha but opted for coffee and I wish I got the matcha I mean who knew that coffee came with cayenne pepper. As for me I've ordered Mexican mocha before @ other establishments like Empresso and it's always sweet with abulita hot cocoa and cinnamon flavor so this threw me off completely. I couldn't even drink the coffee me and the bff pretty much wasted our money. They really need to have an ingredient list menu or at least disclose that information and is made differently. read more

Fierro is a cute little drink spot inside an older shopping plaza that has been reimagined over the last few years. I stopped here the other day because I was thirsty and I love matcha. This strip mall has a particularly homogenized modern look and feel but the interior of the shop is slightly warmer with multiple plants, which I believe are available for sale. There is seating outside but I would not recommend the table and chair directly in front of the shop as it looks flimsy however there is a communal seating area outdoors to the west. The service here was friendly and the menu is very limited. They do have a restroom inside for customers and a few seats inside. I chose the strawberry matcha and it was out in a few minutes. They added a freeze-dried strawberry garnish to the top which I haven't seen before and the drink looked very nice. Unfortunately, as many other reviewers have said, the match here is just not good. The drink was just ok and quite small for the price point. Had the matcha been good quality or particularly tasty that would not have been an issue but that was definitely not the case. I'm not sure I would return here but if I did, it would definitely not be for matcha. read more

My friend suggested this coffee shop since I was tired of the usual letdowns from Starbucks. The shop itself has a really cute and clean vibe, with chill music playing in the background. They even sell shirts and hats! So hear me out ...... I think there are casual coffee drinkers and then there are true coffee drinkers lol. I fall into the casual category, I just like the taste , I'm simple without overthinking it. I usually go for a white mocha with oat milk and extra whipped cream. Real coffee drinkers hate when they hear whip cream lol. So.... There was this guy who seemed like he might be the owner or manager; he had a ton of confidence in his coffee. I was reading the other reviews and was gobsmacked at the other trash reviewers who clearly don't know what good product is. I have no association to this place at all and was generally impressed with the level of quality of the Matcha and coffee. I was really exited to try this place since I was a video of them on tiktok. I drove out of my way from sac to come here. I ordered the Honey nut latte and it was ok. i like honey in my coffee but it tasted like they put too much. like alot. i didnt want to complain but then after i had a few sips i realized it was just way too much honey. so i politely asked the girl who made my drink if she could add more milk. she was completely fine with it but i noticed the owner heard me and he decided to get involved which would be completely fine if he wasnt so rude. He said what did you order and i said the honey nut and he said well that comes with coconut milk so you want to add more coconut milk? and i said yes. he was very rude and the worker seemed almost scared that he was talking to me like she was embarrassed for his tone. In my opinion he seemed roided up if you know what i mean. like anything could set him off. First time trying this place, and I was impressed. I ordered a Spanish latte, the coffee was good, but nothing spectacular or unique about it. My biggest issue is that this coffee was $7.91 exact for comparison I put a lip gloss next to it. It's very overpriced, and you could honestly finish this small coffee in two or three sips if you're a dude. More ice than anything. But my first visit wasn't bad but i will say, high prices for ok coffee, the service was good, we met the owner and he was really nice and informed us of the different drinks he offers, the pastries are ok (Mexican sweet bread) which was good just again a little expensive for the bread.
