    Bbq pork skewers

Finally got to try this place! I was expecting small portions, but if you get the Filipino plates it's a lot of food. I couldn't even finish it. The presentation of the food is so pretty and the interior of the place is also really nice. They tend to run out of things, so be flexible and have back up choices in case what you want is sold out. We didn't get any, but the halo halo I saw a group get looked fire. We will definitely be coming back to try other things and telling all our friends :)

Food , service, ambiance was great. I ordered the eggs, bacon, avocado brioche along with the meal of the pork belly brioche. The meal came with garlic potatoes and a drink you can upgrade your drink for an extra fee. I also ordered pork belly kare kare to go. The pork belly brioche was great, nice thick cut and the crunchy skin gave it some nice texture. The evb brioche was light and delicious. Although the bacon flavor wasn't entirely there for me. To drink i got the cucumber lemonade and the strawberry match. The cucumber lemonade reminded me of agua fresco. It was heavy on the cucumber but I didn't mind plus the young lady serving me said so and would fill it up with more lemonade. My only matcha references are Starbucks and the match ice cream they sell in Japan town in San Francisco. This match was pronounced. You could barely taste the strawberry and that was at the start of the drink. Towards the bottom lied the remaining match. Strong matcha. The kare kare was very filling. Great portions. I was expecting a stew but was more of a gravy. tasty no the less. You better like peanut sauce because it was very present. Two thing caught my attention I didn't sit well with me. The no restroom and no air conditioned dining room. It was warm inside not bad as outside but you know first world problems.

My daughter raved about this place. She's a student at the college and said we would like this place. It's Danish and Filipino fusion. Quaint little restaurant that looks like a coffee shop when you walk in but it's much more than that! When we got there before 1pm, the place was packed! And there was no line but it started to build when we placed our order. They have cafe drinks, breakfast pastries, croffles, sandwiches, and breakfast and lunch plates. It's quite a variety of menu items such as Danish hotdogs and Danish meatballs to Filipino pork dishes (longanisa, sisig, bbq skewers). Check the chalkboard for specials. Everything sounds delicious and all beautifully plated. Large servings too! But be warned, once they're out, they're out! Sadly, when we placed and paid for our order, we found out that they were out of anything "pork belly." Luckily, the line was short so we changed our crispy kare kare and sisig dishes to something else. We ordered: Dubai Pistachio Iced Latte - Yummy!!! They have alternative milks. Danish Hot Dog - Tasty and the toppings must be Danish with homemade remoulade and red cabbage. Wagyu Japdog - Fascinating and interesting but delicious! The dog itself as good but the toppings raise the bar! Bonito flakes and whatever sauce they put on it. Must try! Danish Meatballs - savory and full of flavor! It wasn't at all what I was expecting with baby potatoes and tomatoes. It was fab! Pork Skewers BBQ - well done! Excellent marinade on the pork. The garlic rice is very good! Love the fried egg on top. Thanks for the vinegar and pickled veggies on the side. Pork Longanisa - amazing flavor! Again, perfection with the garlic rice, fried egg, vinegar and pickled veggies. Bulalo Ramen with Bone Marrow - broth has so much flavor! It was served with garlic rice but I was hoping that it came with noodles instead since it says "Ramen." Not sure if it was because I didn't specify or if the person at the counter didn't ask. Overall, delicious bowl of comfort and that bone marrow was like butter!! Service was very slow. Ordering was fast but it took a while for the food to come out. There were 4 in our party and each of our dishes came out one at a time. We couldn't wait for each other because then the food would be cold. The owner was apologetic and so sweet. It sounds like in-house customers are competing with to-go customers or customers who preorder and reserve pork belly plates.

If you haven't tried Danish-Filipino fusion yet, head to Nordic Bites on Pacific Ave. They've managed to bridge the gap between Scandinavia and Southeast Asia with a menu featuring everything from Smørrebrød to their version of silog-style breakfasts. We tried: * Pork Longanisa: The perfect balance of sweet and savory. * Pork Belly: Great texture with a perfectly rendered fat-to-meat ratio. Both plates come loaded with garlic fried rice and a jammy sunny-side-up egg. What sets them apart is the fresh "Nordic" side: cherry tomatoes, cucumber, pickled red onions, crispy shallots and a unique tzatziki garlic that brings it all together. The portions are generous (definitely shareable for a light brunch). The atmosphere is relaxed, quiet, and clean. Huge shoutout to the staff--they were incredibly welcoming, which always makes a meal taste better. Whether you're dining in, grabbing to-go, or looking for a unique caterer, this spot is a Stockton must-try!

I had to do some food research since we were stopping by Stockton on our way to Groveland. Every restaurant I saw bored me until I looked at the menu here. Danish food? ok, never had it but also was never interested in looking for it; but wait, filipino food too? ook, that is a pretty weird & interesting combination. I'm in! The restaurant itself is pretty cute and cozy. There's an extra room in the back that has more comfortable chairs. It was never busy the 2 times that we came and the employees there were so nice & welcoming. The lady in line behind us was so confused about the pricing (but in a good way!). Not saying it was super cheap, but definitely lower than expected for what you're getting and in this economy. As for the food... DELICIOUS! My favorites were the filipino dishes (longanisa and beef bistek) which were served all fancy-like. The crispy shallots in the fried rice was *chef's kiss. My family also really enjoyed the roast beef brioche sandwich and the potato/bacon appetizer. Their specialty drinks are also tasty (recommend the ube chai and dubai chai pistachio). Loved this place so much that we had to come back on our way home from our trip. Definitely recommend!

I've been wanting to try Nordic Bites for so long and it did not disappoint. The service was great--friendly and attentive. The dishes I tried were overall simple, but presented beautifully and made with super fresh and quality ingredients. I ordered the smoked salmon open-face sandwich, which was very fresh and tasty. I wasn't a huge fan of the dark brown bread personally, but that's more of a preference than a flaw. I also got the avocado, egg, and bacon croffle. The croffle itself was soft, warm, and perfectly chewy, and they were very generous with the avocado, which I really appreciated. The ube chai was delicious, though a bit on the sweeter side for my taste. Overall, solid spot with great food and service. I'd definitely come back and am excited to try their Filipino dishes next time.

Wanted to give it a try after seeing the stuff trending on social media. Everything I tried was amazing. Ordered a variety of filipino breakfast. All came with Garlic Fried Rice with an Over Easy/Medium Fried Egg. Bistek, Longanisa, Tocino, and Pork Belly. Their Bistek, Tocino and Pork Belly were all so good (I didn't try the Longanisa... but my friend said it was delicious. Oooooohhh and the desserts. Got to try the Ube cake balls, Dubai Chocolate cake (my friend tried the Dubai Chocolate Donut and said it was awesome) and took a little bite of the Mango Crème Cake, and ordered the Ube Cake Roll. We will definitely have to go and dine in next time Food did not disappoint

This place has a lot going on with the menu. There are a lot of food options to include deserts and drinks. The food was very delicious but its a bit messy trying to eat that open face sandwich. Not a bad thing, just something to note. I really enjoyed their twist on Nordic recipes, it was different and pleasant all at once.

A spot we weren't even looking for happen to notice it and decided to stop by in to check it out. Really cute decor The Who vibe in here was so relaxing and pretty. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and offered help with the menu. Off the bat my husband order the Wagyu Hotdog and I ordered the pull pork sandwich and OMG it was so frikn good I should have gotten two lol. Wow the flavors were endless with every bite it was so good never had one but definitely ordering more and trying some more items on the menu for sure. This spot is tucked in a small parking area plenty of parking and service was great didn't have to wait for long very friendly staff we coming back for sure

Recently visited since this was the new spot in town. I ordered their cantaloupe matcha, pork belly sandwich, and their halo halo. I really liked their sandwich and their matcha. Their halo halo was huge, good but a bit hard to eat. Definitely try this place out!

Interesting take on cafe food meets Asian favorites. Smushies are a FUN idea. I tried all 6 and my top 3 are: Salmon Meatball Shrimp The dalgona coffee is a must!

The service is excellent, so far, the food is overall pretty good, but could make adjustments like saying corned beef hash instead of corned beef, or make it corned beef, which is what I was expecting. Also, the spam UFO would be better if the spam was fried first. The smashed potatoes and lechon are good and the Filipino breakfast with Longanisa is pretty good as well. My favorite coffee is a decaf iced Nordic cardamom with oat milk and orange zest! A flavor all their own and unique to only this place! I love it! I also enjoyed the Dubai donut. I am definitely going to be back to try more items! It's cute and cozy inside and they are really friendly. Please support them! There is no other place around like this place!

Upon walking in I really enjoyed the calm vibe. The music, decor, and water fountain give a comforting atmosphere. I walked up the counter and I told the employee it was my first time there. She was very welcoming and gave me a brief introduction to the restaurant, the owner, and their menu. She was super knowledgeable on the menu and made some recommendations. I ordered the Filipino breakfast, which I was told it a newer addition to their menu. I also ordered an Ube chai. The Chai, delicious! If you're a Ube fan it's a must try. They also have Ube desserts, which I need to try next time. I was impressed with the presentation of my food. The bowl was a perfect combination of flavors. The pork and rice were perfectly salty, the pickled veggies were tangy and crunchy, the egg was perfectly cooked, it all came together so well. They have so many menu options and I can't wait to go back and try more. I wish this business much success!

I'd been craving a chili dog for a while and they did not disappoint! The hot dog was huge and loaded with chili and cheese. I couldn't even finish it and took the rest home for a snack. My son also had the chili dog but he got the combo meal that came with chips and a drink. Bonus for me-Coke products! If you love a good hot dog, this is the place for you! The young man who waited on us was super sweet and friendly and we chatted while he put together our order. We chose to sit outside on their deck because the weather was nice. I'm going to take advantage of all this outdoor seating before the weather turns blistering hot! Bottom line-great location, food and service. Definitely a wiener, I mean winner! HA

What may have once been a nostalgic place for a weiner, is now a dingy shell of despair that forces you to take notice as soon as you catch a glimpse of the cashier begging you with his eyes to turn around and just walk back out. I should have listened to my inner glizzy and did just that... but we didnt. Instead, we ordered, much to the dismay of the staff, 2 chili cheese dogs. I did order a Shake 2 hours before closing, but they cut off the ice cream machine early, as he said it doesn't make sense to run the machine until closing time. Okaaaay. We'll, when I left a tip, the cashier kinda brightened up a bit and said thank you. At this point, without knowing any history of this place, I am thinking it's the owners kids forced to work today. Enough with the ambiance. Let's get to the food. The polish dog was, ok. The chili was gritty from Im guessing sitting there for a while, and the cheese was gloopy. Sorry Dad!!!!
