On Monday, October 27, 2025, as we walked inside, we were greeted with a smile and I believe the owner, Rebekah was who took our order, brought out the high chair after asking if they had high chairs, and was super thoughtful to bring out our drinks since she saw I had my hands full with my baby boy. The interior is very spacious and a perfect spot to grab food, a drink, study, work, and all of the above. The Cafe is currently decorated in a Harry Potter theme which I love. It was busy, people were picking up orders. Rebekah was taking orders and making the coffee drinks. She is amazing at it by the way. I give her mad props for being calm and so friendly all while doing it all. She also ensured to let her customers know that she'd be right with them. There was a man who I saw making the food so thankfully she wasn't alone. He was also the one who gave me two containers to go and he was very helpful and nice. My MIL had their white chocolate mocha extra hot. She said it was perfect.5/5 My MIL also had The Bold One bagel and she said she liked it. 5/5 I ordered one of their seasonal drinks which was the Pumpkin Patch Latte 10/5 I loved it I was able to taste the ingredients mentioned in the menu. Definitely better than Starbucks' so-called pumpkin drinks that don't even taste as such. I also had their Turkey Pesto sandwich and it was pretty good and flavorful. All the flavors went well. 5/5 My baby had the Egg Bowl 5/5 This is a great bowl for vegetarians and they also have other options. If you dine in, please make sure you take your plates, cups, and utensils to the bins located next to the entrance door on the left side or right side if you're facing the entrance door from inside. If you have yet to stop by, I highly highly recommend you do. They have superb customer service and delicious coffee drinks and food.

The café is a very nice place to study or have a conversation, appropriate to it's nomenclature. The decorations inside were impressive and inspirational with a white and green deco with wood and green plants. the food Caprese toast was on the expensive side at $12, came with three slices of half bread, with avocado, tomato, arugula, and balsamic vinaigrette. It was very well made, not quite worth the $12 but delicious. Hispanic guy who took my order made my latte I believe, it was very well-made. He was able to make ristretto and even make a swan design from almond milk. Very impressive. The caramel apple latte, not made by the Hispanic was not as good. However, it could have been because I ordered a caramel apple latte. Lol. Apple syrup is not my cup of coffee. Overall, very impressive interior decoration in the dining and drink area, the bathrooms could use some work in the design compared to the design of the interior.

My friend and I were looking for a place to meet between our homes. This came recommended from a co-worker. Its decor is clean and minimalist. There is ample seating and it's spacious allowing for private conversations. The food was nothing special but it did the trick. The portions are small, so I needed something else to eat once I got home. The crepes sounds good, so I hope to try one of those the next time we meet.

Just thinking about that tasty breakfast sandwich I had last Saturday If you haven't already, slide through to Chit Chat Cafe in Manteca. You won't regret it. This cute little cafe has sweet treats that will make you come back for more! The crepes are delicious. I ordered the matcha drink and it wasn't bitter at all. The one thing I didn't understand is two of my friends got hot lattes and one of them got it in a cute mug and the other one was in a to go cup but all our orders were for dine in. The staff there are super friendly and food was out quick.

Been living in Lathrop for a while and I didn't know this place existed. Their coffee is so good! I'm a coffee lover and I don't like my coffee sweet. Their coffee is not sweet like starbucks and you can really taste the coffee. The banana cream crepe was amazinggg! I can't wait to try the other items from their menu. They also expanded their space and I think it's very cute and minimalist. The service is quick and great. I will definitely recommend this place to our friends and neighbors. I wish they're open longer until 5pm and on Sundays so I can come here more often!

I remember when chit chat first open up I was the one to turn on their gas and to see them thriving expanding I had to come here and try some of there menu items the cafe is nice and clean and roomy the food it's a must so many varieties I'll be returning to knock 1 item down one by one. Service is fast and prompt. If you're in the area looking for some good breakfast, pastries lunch this is the spot.

This was a really cute place to sit and have a small bite. My friend and I ran across it by accident needing to burn some time. The decor is really well put together, love all the comfy areas too, gives it a relaxing calm atmosphere. The bagel sandwich I had was really good I was pretty impressed, the bagel was soft and chewy. My friend got the avocado toast and unfortunately they got the order wrong but the lady who brought it to us recognized it and was more than willing to correct it quickly. We didn't try the coffee but we are excited to go back and try more.

Had to wait for my oil change and thought this place would be nice to wait. Friendly service and the ambiance is such a cute vibe! I ordered the turkey pesto sandwich and a caramel macchiato. 10/10, highly recommend the sandwich ! So good especially the bread, you can tell it was freshly made. Definitely coming back again!

The inside of the cafe is very chic and clean. Lots of natural light and soft colors made the environment very welcoming. The food was pretty good, everything was fresh and had good portion sizes for each of us (although the crepe was a little on the smaller side). Each of our breakfasts were filling, and the freshness of the fruit provided a good balance to the oatmeal. At about $12 dollars a person, it was a very good price point. Staff were nice, and our food came out in a good time. A good little local spot for a quick breakfast, and very yummy looking pastries in the display case that look like they are worth a try.

This place was amazing. The food was fantastic. It looked good and tasted yummy. The staff was helpful and friendly. It is the cutest place you will not want to leave. They have two rooms and the are adorable. Benches that look like grass.

Chit Chat Cafe is a must-visit in Manteca! I got there at 10:00AM and it was packed! I ordered the Strawberry Shortcake crepe and it was delicious! It was filled with cream and SO many strawberries which I loved. The crepe tasted very authentic, like you were at a cafe in France. The ambiance is so nice as well! Such a great place to grab a morning drink and just sit for a bit. The owner Rebekah is so sweet as well and came out to greet me and my friends. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu!

Cute little brunch spot and coffee shop, offering unique coffee flavors. The food selection is decent. 2-3 people run the whole place so service is a little slow, I'm also petty when people who order after me get their food before me, specially when it's several mins after me. Enjoyed our food and drink overall. I would go again if I was in the area. FYI they say they're open until 3 but kitchen closes at 2- so I assume they only serve coffee the last hour

I hosted my niece's bridal shower at Chit Chat Cafe last weekend and they did an AMAZING job! I provided Tiffany with the theme "she found her main squeeze" , number of guests and she and her amazing team did the rest. I didn't have to worry about anything. They created a beautiful atmosphere for us to enjoy the afternoon in. There were so many special touches that I just can't stop telling my friends about. The theme was lemons and she made these little lemon cakes with the cutest little lemon slice toppings set perfectly on top of an upside goblet. There was delicious cookies she made with a copy of the shower invite on them and set on each plate. They made lemon flavored cotton candy to be used in the tea for flavor and a little sugar and little lemon shaped macaroons. The food was chef's choice - which at first was a little adjustment for me to just let that go and not have control over but Tiffany assured me she would create a special menu and she did. The salad, the cucumber tea sandwiches, egg sandwiches, fresh fruit with a delicious lemon crème to dip the fruit in and so much more - all set within the lemon theme! The staff was incredibly helpful and available. The guest of honor had a fabulous time and felt so special - which was exactly the whole point of the shower! read more

I loved this place from the moment I entered. The place was so cute but limited seating. They people were so friendly, and the baked goods were so good! The crepes are only on Saturday so I came back on Saturday to try the crepes and they were really good. Had the spinach, mushroom and cheese crepe and that was really good. We also had a banana Nutella crepe and that was great too! We ordered an iced and hot Carmel macchiato and a peppermint mocha and the flavors were great! Overall we had a great experience! read more

I love this café! The pastries here are so delicious (especially the cinnamon rolls). I enjoy coming here with my husband on dates and love the music that they play. The service here is excellent, everyone is so nice. Not sure if they have smoothies here but would definitely be a great idea to add to the menu! read more

There is not enough space to write why this place is so amazing! From the special care they put into weekly themes and delicious treats to always making you feel like you are home when you come in! This is the type of place Manteca has needed to help bring back the core values of small town community! Chit Chat just doesn't awaken your senses with the cozy atmosphere and delicious food they awaken your soul. My friends and I have often sat in this place for hours enjoying our food and drink. You can't help it when you are in a place that just makes you feel so welcome. You're not just a customer when you come here, you are family! read more

This place is a gem. Period. Great decor, great drinks, great food. My girlfriend was very excited to take me here for my first time and Chit Chat did not disappoint at all. We shared a delicious raspberry white mocha. My girlfriend got a mixed fruit crepe and I got a breakfast pizza. Both were amazing. When the crepe was brought out, a very nice lady named Gwen (I learned after that she is the owner's sister) explained that my pizza was a little burnt so they were already making me another but will still bring the original out. I want to stress that the original pizza was BARELY burnt. I think it just wasnt up to their standards, which is so refreshing to see. They didnt have to make me a new pizza, that was just great customer service. Hands down one of my favorite places in Manteca now. I cant wait to come back and try more of what they have to offer! We were first timers yesterday and stopped in to have a late breakfast! The food was delicious. The healthy option of eggs, spinach, tomato, mushroom, and cheese was so fresh and good. Oh oh my goodness! This place is great. Great service and great food! The workers there are so very friendly. My daughter and I went on Saturday and had the very best crepes and coffee! We liked it so much we went back on Monday, Memorial Day. Awesome customer service once more. The only only reason it's s "4" and not an"5" is crepes are only served on Saturdays! read more

I just moved into town from San Jose and like to drive around for some good coffee and cafe area. There seems to be A LOT of Starbucks around here and very little small cafes. Its down putting so finding chit chat cafe was amazing. Their pastries look amazing and my mom loved the coffee cake. Unfortunately, I couldnt eat anything since I cant eat gluten, but their drinks were amazing. The staff also took the time to answer any questions i had. Went here for the first time a couple days ago. Very quaint inside and perfect for a coffee date or studying. Their chai latte and everything bagel with cream cheese was really good. The man working the front was incredibly friendly. I plan on stopping by the next time I'm in Manteca. read more

Went for crepes which ended up being bad. They kinda have a rubbery feeling to them. Both sweet and savory crepes were like that. Service was okay. Nothing special. We were ignored the first two times going there so we left. Third time time was the charm. The space is really really small. Best to get it to go. The avocado toast was actually good. Maybe they're other food is good. We only went to try to find a local crepe place near by. read more

Took my mom out for a cute mother and daughter tea party yesterday for Dia De Las Madres, it was super cute, so glad she loved it The customer service here was so fantastic, it was my first time coming here so I didn't know what to expect. I had reserved tea time for 11am but got caught up in something so I called in and asked to switch it to 11:30am. They were okay with that but then I was still running late and got there 20 minutes late (I know terrible on my part) anyways, they were so understanding, so kind, and so attentive the whole time we were there. Tea was great and the snacks were delicious! Definitely would go again and would totally recommend!! read more

Super cute when you walk in! I really liked the music The was lightly playing in the background as I was eating my delicious chocolate chip cupcake for breakfast lol don't worry I also had a bacon and egg breakfast pizza so it counts lol. They had what looked like a donation box for a ministry which I thought was nice for the season. This place a nice and quite place to sit and get some work done on your laptop but I think they said it gets busy on Saturday mornings because it's "crepe Saturday, which I'm definitely considering for tomorrow lol. Such a cute place and the staff was very welcoming as well. My latte was delicious and super cute too, I'm coming back and bringing friends with me! read more

This local cafe is a gem and walking in charms your eyes instantaneously. The decor had an inviting and adorable look. I walked in and was greeted from the staff. I ordered a salad with chicken and a cappuccino. I received my drink first and was pleasantly satisfied with the taste and delighted that it was in those cute round coffee mugs. Once I received the salad it was visually appealing and tasted excellent. The light dressing complimented the combined ingredients of spring mix, grapes, tangerines, red onion, feta, goat cheese, nuts, and chicken. I also wanted to try their cute desserts but wasn't able to. I noted next time I will though! read more

I won't be returning. I've been wanting to stop by and check out this bakery for awhile now. Arrived at 12:02 PM. They were cleaning up to close. The kitchen was closed, Employee A informed me. Employee B proceeded to ring me up and misheard what I had asked. I was asking about vegan/plant based options for coffee. Employee A overheard and made a comment about how she must have been unclear. I watched as another customer came up to helped. He points at a pastry item.. Employee A responds in a condescending tone "the scones?". I was really looking forward to stopping by regularly. The bakery is aesthetically pleasing.. but the employees? Condescending and seem more interested in leaving than providing customer service. I left with a thought of... 'I'm sorry for being an inconvenience? Ouch. ' read more

Wonderful experience. The entire staff is beyond friendly, even in stressful situations. I was accidentally overcharged for a bagel, they refunded me the difference and gave me the extra food item that was wrung up on top of what I originally ordered. All 3 staff I interacted with in regards to the error were super nice and apologetic. My son loved the cold chocolate milk. The bagel breakfast sandwich was delicious. They even had orange infused water on the counter for all. We'll be back! read more

This was my first time coming here im from the bay area. I needed a car diagnostic across the way and seen this cute cafe with outdoor eating. I noticed right away they were practicing safe disinfecting and sanitation practices with products on table for customer use (which made me so happy). Right away I was greeted and introduced by the server. She was so helpful and nice, and even offered me a free cinnamon bun for my first visit! It was so yummy!!!! I went with the iced chai latte and was completely full from the cinn bun. All in all great service and yummy treats here. I will definitely be coming back and recommending to a friend! read more

Love this cafe! The whole atmosphere is awesome, it looks like one of those little coffee shops you see on tv or in a magazine. Employees are always friendly, it's always really clean and busy! It's a good thing, trust me! It's worth the wait, the sweets are so good! The cinnamon rolls are HUGE AND DELICIOUS. I've told everyone I know to try them. My family loves scones and every time I stop by, there's always a variety to choose from. The cherry chocolate chip and strawberry scones are my fave. Haven't tried their food yet but I'm going to. Coffee...it was good. I had a vanilla latte and I liked that it wasn't really sweet like they are at Starbucks. My family is a big fan and i hope they're around for awhile.
