3/4 of a fresh Biscuit w/ homemade jam
    Hugh M.

I had heard some good things about this place for breakfast (which by the way is one of my favorite meals) so we went there today to try it. This place did not disappoint- the staff was friendly and attentive. They have a nice selection of options. I ordered off the 55+ menu (a few less options but still several choices). We both ordered the Denver Omelette with Country Potatoes (which are thin sliced potatoes but very tasty). My wife had this served with their freshly made Biscuit served with butter and homemade jam (or gravy if you prefer). I tried a bite of her biscuit very good and fluffy. I had a pancake with mine. I included some pictures but I forgot to take the pictures when the meal was served, so the shot of my breakfast and biscuit are partially eaten.

Country Kitchen (just like my Nanas house on the ranch). This small place, in Ripon, is a neighborhood classic. Staff is always friendly and food is always fresh and hot (nice! Very, very nice). Today (as always) my fiancé and I had the Chile Verde Omelette with a side of eggs (for me). Come out. Fell like you just came over for breakfast or brunch and enjoy a quaint conversation with a good hearty meal. Tell them ,"that guy" sent you.

Chili Cheese with bacon over hash browns, seriously delicious stoner food!

Wasn't expecting much, especially with the dated garden look that was more tacky than cutesy. Went to breakfast on a Tuesday morning and the place was nearly filled with seniors. They have an under 10 or over 55 menu, the babes got the veggie soup and the grandparents got the classic breakfast. Veggie soup was homemade with lots of veggies in a thick red tomato soup. Pancakes were thick and fluffy. Last minute I switched from Eggs Benedict to the special with hash browns covered with chopped bacon, onions, homemade chili and cheese. It was soooo tasty and naughty. Chili is some of the best I've had. Told the server that I wished they would offer it Cincinnati style with spaghetti noodles instead of your choice of hash browns or tatter tots. For $10 it was a steal if a deal! Service was quick, friendly with several offers to top off our coffee.

I had brunch with my family here as we were visiting my aunt, and like the other restaurants, it's very cute and quaint. The waitresses were very nice and attended to our needs. The food is very filling and delicious. I had the California omelette with hash browns and toast, and my gosh, it was FILLING. This is a good spot for catching up and getting a nice simple breakfast/lunch. Only complaint I have is how some of the furniture is outdated, but aside from that, I love the quaint comfort of this place.

We asked if they could do a special order: a burrito deconstructed, with over-easy eggs and the tortillas on the side. They were totally accommodating, and it was exactly what I was craving--fresh, filling, and seriously delicious. I went for the blueberry pancakes, and wow: they were enormous, fluffy, packed with real blueberries, and basically the perfect pre-hike fuel. And the coffee? Amazing, as always. I meant to take a picture of my food, but honestly I accidentally didn't--because everything looked so good that I dug in immediately. And even without the photo evidence, the presentation and plating were incredible, just like they always are. This place has my heart. I'd give it a hundred stars if I could--highly, highly recommend.

Staff here are friendly, there's a solid bit of history and kitsch in the very back on the way to the restrooms, giving character to what is otherwise a decidedly local, low-frills experience. The steak salad (was it a steak taco salad?) looked quite tasty but also ordinary so I skipped it and stuck with breakfast; the sausage and eggs were very much unremarkable, but at least the hashbrowns were nicely pan fried and the eggs were a large portion. Biscuit and gravy reinforced the former impression, but again, hard to complain-- did the job. This place is super affordable and the overall verdict is a solid local place that's easy to appreciate but hard for me to say I would actually get excited about.

Every other spot had lines out the door but here, we walked right in and were seated immediately. The server came to take our order right away. I got the South of the Border Tri Tip sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was just alright, but I believe that's just a personal preference. To me, it felt a bit oily and did not have very much flavor. The sweet potato fries, on the other hand, were literally out of this world. They were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. They had a great flavor too. They paired perfectly with their fresh and light ranch. The portion was quite large and on the affordable side. The server came by frequently to check on us and provide refills despite it being very busy and bustling. They were doing a fantastic job as they were practically running around to serve all the tables. My Garden Cafe looks like a very local mom and pop type of cafe despite having multiple locations throughout the valley. It is casual and very homey. The decor is super adorable and looks like a Hobby Lobby exploded inside of there. Despite being quite small, there is a ton of seating. There is a small section of bar seating with TVs which is nice for watching whatever sports match they have on. I was very impressed by My Garden Cafe!

I arrived a few minutes before they opened, so sat outside with my dog. At opening time, a women (I believe one of the owners) opened the front door with TWO big pieces of bacon in her hands, and excitedly asked if she could give them to my dog! Already blown away by the kindness and hospitality, I of course said 'yes' and my dog was in heaven. The inside looked cozy and inviting, but I sat outside (dog) and ordered the smoked corned beef hash and an orange juice. Not long after, a gentleman came out with the food (I believe he is the other owner) and it looked amazing! The plate was loaded, it came with two perfectly cooked eggs on top and an aioli drizzle that was so tasty. On top of all this, the meal included one of their scratch made biscuits, and the owner/chef gave me some of their gravy to try, on the house! Both the corned beef hash and the biscuit were hands down the best I've ever had. The breakfast potatoes were also cooked to perfection. The portion was almost enough for two people it was so generous. The only thing that would have made the experience 110% would have been fresh squeezed orange juice, but that's just cause I love fresh OJ. I (and my dog) ate like royalty and were treated to the best service I've experienced in a long time. I can't wait to find myself in the Coulterville area again, because I'm sure the rest of The Copperpot's menu is equally delicious, and the people there are the best.

The place turned out great with the old fashioned retro red color style interior and the experience was wonderful. Good vibes and positive feelings when walking into it. My lady server provided excellent service and the Hispanic male worker was quick and efficient. Place is clean and menu had good variety of selections. Breakfast is served all day while lunch items start at 11am. My breakfast was very fulfilling and total was $25.30 with everything included. I paid in cash and tipped them $5. Loved my sweet lady server. There was another older woman at the cash register. She's a local as well. I really enjoyed the stop. I had the Fajitas Omelette breakfast and the steak meats in it were very generous. Delicious breakfast exactly as I had expected. My onions green peppers potatoes were perfect with a side of salsa. Sourdough toast was delicious with the garlic butter taste. I really came for my favorite hot chocolate with whipped cream in the morning. I do miss big American breakfasts, especially in these old fashioned and traditional retro spots. Love it. Why didn't I visit this place much earlier?
