I ate there 2 days ago and have had the most intense food poisoning since then. I had ordered the BYO breakfast and when i received the eggs I could tell they were raw, but too late. I have been throwing up so much from both ends, experiencing the most intense migraine I have ever had, and I experience on and off fevers of 102°. I have such severe stomach cramping and it's extremely unbearable. Last night I almost had to go to the ER because of how miserable I was. Came here on Veterans Day to get my free breakfast. The wait wasn't too long but it seemed as if they may have been understaffed a little. No matter the staffing, our waitress was great! I was sad to hear that Denny's changed from having the grand sandwich to pancakes, eggs, and sausage/bacon for the Veterans Deal. That was a downgrade. Ordered the country fried steak dinner with Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. The 'steak' didn't taste like anything but salty, the country gravy was bland like you would get at a hospital and the mashed potatoes were so runny I had to use a spoon. I barely ate anything on the plate. The server asked how everything was and I told him it wasn't good and what was wrong with it. He said 'ok'. He took the plates from Mac and cheese and garlic bread but left the uneaten gross meal. Rolled in at 9pm and was told the cook was on break for 20 minutes. WTF no back up no pulling the weight. When I worked in the kitchen there was no break. You were done when the last customer was done eating.
