We tried this cafe for the first time this morning and we were impressed! Great location and the staff and the food were wonderful! The owner Frank introduced himself to us and he was the sweetest. We love the hometown feel this place was giving. We had the Portuguese omelet and the chicken and waffles and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back!

Great downtown local spot to enjoy some good food. We enjoyed our late breakfast on a Monday mid day afternoon great way to start off the month of December Parking is tight since it's located on. Small business block there is. Parking lot to use if no street parking is available Can't go wrong with anything you choose to eat. We enjoyed some omekettes and club sandwiches

It's a small but busy place. They have both inside and outside seating so you don't have to wait for a table to be available. The menu is mix of breakfast and lunch food that you can order from anytime of the day. Everytime i go to a breakfast spot and they offer Country/Chicken fried steak, that's the first thing o go for. It's a make or break for me if this will be a repeat order from me. So with that being said, their Country fried steak was a repeat order from me. It has crispy thin batter and tender meat and smothered with peppery Country gravy served with eggs (I like mine over easy) and hash brown. It also comes with your choice of toast, pancake or biscuits w/ gravy. I also like their other food menu like omelets and French toast which I have also tried before. This place is a repeat breakfast spot for me and my Family. They're attentive, keeps your coffee refilled and always have your food hot and fresh.

Little skillet action. Super bomb. I'm stuffed and have quite a bit left over!

We came on a pretty quiet Tuesday morning and we are glad we beat the crowds! Every table filled up as soon as we sat down and we had 5 adults & 3 kids! Coffee was hot and fresh. Served within 10-15 mins of ordering & I've had a LOT of breakfasts in my life but this is easily in the top 5 of all time. Got a Skillet with sunny side up eggs. (Reallllllly good! Very filling & plenty left over or to share)! Others got Chorizo omelette, senior breakfast, waffles & the kids split a pancake meal. The most impressive hash browns we have had in years as they were requested "extra crispy" & they were delivered as such. 5/5 would MF recommend y'all!!! Very attentive staff, great cook, and for 5 adults & 3 kids, it was reasonably priced (130ish before tip). Thank you!

Came here on a rainy Saturday for lunch. Place is a nice hole in the wall. Inside it seemed dark and tightly spaced so we were happy to sit outside with a a warmer overhead. The service was friendly and quick. The food was well presented. I liked my eggs, hash browns, and sausages. My French toast lacked flavor and came with cheap syrup. My son liked his sunrise sandwich and potatoes.

Fried zucchini so delish must order.

Came here with family for breakfast and the experience was great!! The customer service was amazing with Frank (the restaurant owner) being very enthusiastic and jolly, creating a fun and humorous experience! The other servers were also very kind and cooperative. The ambiance was also very light and lively with the greenery and cream colored walls. The only contrasting factor is the seating being black. The music playing was very 50's diner style but was also upbeat and lively. The food was considerately proportional and fulfilling. The pancakes were fluffy and buttery, the eggs were perfect and the sausage links were very flavorful and great texture! The biscuits and gravy were very big! Super filling. It was moderately flavorful, not too much but could be a bit more flavorful. The biscuits were super fluffy and baked just perfect! Overall, this was a good experience to start the day with. Intertwining tastiness and humorous Frank crating a fun and light atmosphere. We will definitely continue to support this small and local businesses in Manteca.

Wonderful breakfast spot. Had to order the Mexican hot chocolate. It was a must. My husband needed up ordering one for himself after trying mine. I had the chicken fried steak which was tender and fried perfectly, I then opted for hand browns, scrambled egg, and a pancake. I would order meal again. My husband had the chorizo burrito and he enjoyed it. Service was great and quick. And if you happen to be staying at the Great Wolf Lodge it is conveniently close by.

I had been on a bit of a cheeseburger kick at the time that I came here. I was on the hunt for the best cheeseburger in the general area. Unfortunately, when I got to this place I ended up receiving a sub par cheeseburger. I'd say a bit below average. Was a little burnt, very dry, and poorly placed in the container so the bun was kind of smashed. I will say that the fries were decently crispy at least. Now generally my reviews are more about dine-ins. In general I feel that's more fair. But then I do to-go orders like this. I'm parked right by the restaurant to I can eat it at peak freshness. Keeping all that in mind, the overall quality should not have decreased drastically enough to justify the cheeseburger being that sub par. Now they are sort of a small restaurant so I feel compelled to give them another chance eventually.

Came here with the fam after our stay in Great Wolf Lounge. We got seated promptly and they asked if we would like Coffee. Which my mom and I said, "of coarse." After browsing the menu, we all decided to order something different. The food was really good, but the winner was the coffee with hot chocolate. That drink was really, really good. Overall, great place to come and have brunch with. Great service as well.

The restaurant is connected to (or at least shares a building with) the casino, so parking can be a little tricky. Most of the lot was full when we arrived, and I ended up parking on the street. Inside, it's really cute. They have a great wine display right when you walk in, a cozy dining area, and a small outdoor patio that looked like a nice spot to sit. Service was good. Nothing over the top, but friendly and exactly what you'd expect. The menu sounded fantastic, which made me really excited. We ordered oysters, lobster bisque, filet mignon, scallop pasta, lobster mac and cheese, and I had an Old Fashioned. The oysters and bisque were both okay, the filet and pasta were decent, but honestly nothing really stood out. The biggest disappointment was the lobster mac and cheese. If you love lobster mac like I do and always order it when it's on the menu, I'd skip this one. It wasn't really mac and cheese at all. The sauce didn't taste cheesy, the presentation wasn't appealing, and it ended up being one of my least favorite versions I've had. Overall, it's a nice restaurant with a good atmosphere, but the food just didn't wow me. If someone invited me back for another celebration, I'd happily go. It just wouldn't be my first choice if I were picking the restaurant myself.

Hour of arrival was around 5pm. We were greeted by Natalie and welcome in. We sat at the bar. Shortly after we were greeted by Caroline. We spoke about what brought us here. I explained to her i saw thier Yelp page and a pictures of a pizza caught my eye. She explains in detail of what she is doing with this style of pizza and the ingredients she uses. We were sold. We ordered 3 new haven style pizza or apizza as advertised. We ordered the Mozz , Margherita and one not on the menu Pepperoni hot honey apizza. This is the order she suggested we have them and we complied. I'm no expert of new haven style pizza but I'll watched enough Dave Portnoy to maybe not necessarily be a judge but to recognize what makes a apizza. Let me start by saying these pizzas were delicious. As for the characteristics of a new haven there were some. I'll let you be the judge by the picture or your own experience dinning here. We tried all 3 as they were coming out the oven and also tried them with Caroline customizations. In short they elevated the apizza. She also mentioned she puts some parmigiano reggiano on her pizza and has a big wheel of it in the back which I didn't get the chance to see and take a picture. None the less another thing to like about her pizza.. Natalie crafted some fine spirits for us to accompany our pizzas although I wish they were a bit more unbalanced in a good way but then again the are mixed drink. The ambiance was great with Contemporary jazz playing. I like jazz so it was delightful. If you are at the bar you may need to talk a little louder to your friend. 3 pizzas 5 mixed drinks plus tip $190. I will certainly be back with my wife I think she will like the Alfredo pasta. Caroline signature dish. Heavy cream she says.

Which granted, I'm sure that's the way someone trained her or that's the way she learned how to do it but because she took our order so fast she ended up making a mistake. At the end she repeated back the whole order and my mom responded with, "I think so." I could understand most of what she repeated back to us, but I was just thinking if someone else who couldn't process as quickly was getting helped by someone like this .... people need to learn how to have patience. Like, what's the rush girl?? Okay, let's move on. Soooo, they ended up fixing the mistake with the charge and what not and we went to go find our table. Our server was lovely, sweet, and she kept checking in on us. S/O Liliana, your service was MUCH appreciated. She was quick to pick up our plates and return and ask us if we wanted a refill on our water. Ok last but not least, this Prime Rib Burger. This burger was LACKING, like where was the rest of the meat YO? I'd probably compare this burger to the same as a McDonald's cheese burger. The only thing that's elevated is the bun. Also, this Yam with the little sweet butter thing on the side. Also, just okay. The pairing just doesn't really make sense. I'll be recommending a different place to my parents next time we all go out to eat.

We also had the spinach and artichoke crab dip, which was 10 out of 10. We added extra crostinis which is recommended. For a drink, I had the Cosmo, which was nice and refreshing. I also had a taste of the Old Glory and that was a nice refreshing twist on the old-fashioned, which was recommended by our server. I had the Calabrian Chile Shrimp Scampi over pappardelle pasta and it was the 10 out of 10. The layers of flavor with the capers, lemon, bacon and spice was perfect! I tried a piece of the crusted halibut, which was very moist and flavorful as well as the salmon. All was great on flavor. For dessert we had the brownie with vanilla ice cream, which is a huge brownie. I would say it's good for four people. I also tried the apple pie cheesecake which was very good and the mixed berry crumble that tasted fresh. I ordered an espresso martini to try it and it looked a little messy on the glass. As for taste, I felt like the Vodka drowned out the espresso notes. 6/10 As mentioned, our server was very friendly and attentive however he did fail to bring ice water when requested, but overall great experience .
