Chorizo omelette with hash browns and wheat toast
Geneva W.

Great downtown local spot to enjoy some good food. We enjoyed our late breakfast on a Monday mid day afternoon great way to start off the month of December Parking is tight since it's located on. Small business block there is. Parking lot to use if no street parking is available Can't go wrong with anything you choose to eat. We enjoyed some omekettes and club sandwiches

It's a small but busy place. They have both inside and outside seating so you don't have to wait for a table to be available. The menu is mix of breakfast and lunch food that you can order from anytime of the day. Everytime i go to a breakfast spot and they offer Country/Chicken fried steak, that's the first thing o go for. It's a make or break for me if this will be a repeat order from me. So with that being said, their Country fried steak was a repeat order from me. It has crispy thin batter and tender meat and smothered with peppery Country gravy served with eggs (I like mine over easy) and hash brown. It also comes with your choice of toast, pancake or biscuits w/ gravy. I also like their other food menu like omelets and French toast which I have also tried before. This place is a repeat breakfast spot for me and my Family. They're attentive, keeps your coffee refilled and always have your food hot and fresh.

Little skillet action. Super bomb. I'm stuffed and have quite a bit left over!

We came on a pretty quiet Tuesday morning and we are glad we beat the crowds! Every table filled up as soon as we sat down and we had 5 adults & 3 kids! Coffee was hot and fresh. Served within 10-15 mins of ordering & I've had a LOT of breakfasts in my life but this is easily in the top 5 of all time. Got a Skillet with sunny side up eggs. (Reallllllly good! Very filling & plenty left over or to share)! Others got Chorizo omelette, senior breakfast, waffles & the kids split a pancake meal. The most impressive hash browns we have had in years as they were requested "extra crispy" & they were delivered as such. 5/5 would MF recommend y'all!!! Very attentive staff, great cook, and for 5 adults & 3 kids, it was reasonably priced (130ish before tip). Thank you!

Came here on a rainy Saturday for lunch. Place is a nice hole in the wall. Inside it seemed dark and tightly spaced so we were happy to sit outside with a a warmer overhead. The service was friendly and quick. The food was well presented. I liked my eggs, hash browns, and sausages. My French toast lacked flavor and came with cheap syrup. My son liked his sunrise sandwich and potatoes.

Fried zucchini so delish must order.

Mexican Hot chocolate

Wonderful breakfast spot. Had to order the Mexican hot chocolate. It was a must. My husband needed up ordering one for himself after trying mine. I had the chicken fried steak which was tender and fried perfectly, I then opted for hand browns, scrambled egg, and a pancake. I would order meal again. My husband had the chorizo burrito and he enjoyed it. Service was great and quick. And if you happen to be staying at the Great Wolf Lodge it is conveniently close by.

Cheeseburger & Fries

I had been on a bit of a cheeseburger kick at the time that I came here. I was on the hunt for the best cheeseburger in the general area. Unfortunately, when I got to this place I ended up receiving a sub par cheeseburger. I'd say a bit below average. Was a little burnt, very dry, and poorly placed in the container so the bun was kind of smashed. I will say that the fries were decently crispy at least. Now generally my reviews are more about dine-ins. In general I feel that's more fair. But then I do to-go orders like this. I'm parked right by the restaurant to I can eat it at peak freshness. Keeping all that in mind, the overall quality should not have decreased drastically enough to justify the cheeseburger being that sub par. Now they are sort of a small restaurant so I feel compelled to give them another chance eventually.

Came here with the fam after our stay in Great Wolf Lounge. We got seated promptly and they asked if we would like Coffee. Which my mom and I said, "of coarse." After browsing the menu, we all decided to order something different. The food was really good, but the winner was the coffee with hot chocolate. That drink was really, really good. Overall, great place to come and have brunch with. Great service as well.

Food and service was great my friend had the patty melt i had breakfast Very cute place can't wait to return

Hour of arrival was around 5pm. We were greeted by Natalie and welcome in. We sat at the bar. Shortly after we were greeted by Caroline. We spoke about what brought us here. I explained to her i saw thier Yelp page and a pictures of a pizza caught my eye. She explains in detail of what she is doing with this style of pizza and the ingredients she uses. We were sold. We ordered 3 new haven style pizza or apizza as advertised. We ordered the Mozz , Margherita and one not on the menu Pepperoni hot honey apizza. This is the order she suggested we have them and we complied. I'm no expert of new haven style pizza but I'll watched enough Dave Portnoy to maybe not necessarily be a judge but to recognize what makes a apizza. Let me start by saying these pizzas were delicious. As for the characteristics of a new haven there were some. I'll let you be the judge by the picture or your own experience dinning here. We tried all 3 as they were coming out the oven and also tried them with Caroline customizations. In short they elevated the apizza. She also mentioned she puts some parmigiano reggiano on her pizza and has a big wheel of it in the back which I didn't get the chance to see and take a picture. None the less another thing to like about her pizza.. Natalie crafted some fine spirits for us to accompany our pizzas although I wish they were a bit more unbalanced in a good way but then again the are mixed drink. The ambiance was great with Contemporary jazz playing. I like jazz so it was delightful. If you are at the bar you may need to talk a little louder to your friend. 3 pizzas 5 mixed drinks plus tip $190. I will certainly be back with my wife I think she will like the Alfredo pasta. Caroline signature dish. Heavy cream she says.

They were just good people who enjoyed what they did and that was awesome. The only annoying thing was it took three tries to get someone to bring a container so we could take one of the sandwich wraps home. The restaurant was clean, spacious, well lit, and cheerful. I appreciated the theme of the movie posters on the wall. That was clever. The food on the other hand was just ok. The fries lacked flavor on their own and could use salt or something. If it wasn't for the garlic on the one fries and whatever it was my wife had on hers those fries would have had no flavor at all. The wrap could have used more dressing, otherwise it was really bland. I had the burger with the egg on it. I forget the name. It had the same problem. Just a lack of flavor. The egg was overcooked. It would have been better if it was sunny side up so the yolk could run. I think it had bacon on it and cheese but I didn't taste either of those. The entire burger was just unremarkable sadly. Would I eat here again? Probably not. If I want a good place to go hang out with friends who work then sure. The staff was great. I just wish the food measures up to how cool they were.

I'm always up to trying new restaurants and when we were invited here, I was pleasantly surprised…read more I hadn't heard about this restaurant. There are a few restaurants that share the parking so there is very limited parking. We had to go around twice to find a parking spot. We had reservations and were sat promptly. They had live music playing in the background, which is nice. We couldn't see it so I didn't know where they were at. It is designed in a circular way where the bar is in the middle so you cannot see across. We were greeted by our server and he was very attentive. He gave us some great recommendations and he was very pleasant. We started with the fig bruschetta and that was a 10 out of 10. It had little bacon bits on top which added a layer of flavor. We also had the spinach and artichoke crab dip, which was 10 out of 10. We added extra crostinis which is recommended. For a drink, I had the Cosmo, which was nice and refreshing. I also had a taste of the Old Glory and that was a nice refreshing twist on the old-fashioned, which was recommended by our server. I had the Calabrian Chile Shrimp Scampi over pappardelle pasta and it was the 10 out of 10. The layers of flavor with the capers, lemon, bacon and spice was perfect! I tried a piece of the crusted halibut, which was very moist and flavorful as well as the salmon. All was great on flavor. For dessert we had the brownie with vanilla ice cream, which is a huge brownie. I would say it's good for four people. I also tried the apple pie cheesecake which was very good and the mixed berry crumble that tasted fresh. I ordered an espresso martini to try it and it looked a little messy on the glass. As for taste, I felt like the Vodka drowned out the espresso notes. 6/10 As mentioned, our server was very friendly and attentive however he did fail to bring ice water when requested, but overall great experience .

The vibe was super chill and inviting, especially with the live music playing. It created such a relaxed, fun atmosphere where we could just unwind and keep enjoying our time together. The staff was really nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The inside has a modern feel to it very clean, stylish, and just a really comfortable space to hang out. What I loved most was the overall energy of the place it felt like a great mix of cozy and lively at the same time. Perfect for winding down, catching up, and just enjoying the moment. Definitely a place I'd come back to for a relaxed night out with good music, drinks, and bites

My party was seated fairly quickly. Our waitress took all our orders by memory - we were a party of 8! I got the Chicken Marsala: Chicken, sauce, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, and gravy. I started off with the mixed veggies - they were cooked soft, just how I like them. They were also flavorful! Not just regular ole steamed frozen veggies, they definitely were buttered and seasoned or something. Next, the mashed potatoes. I'm not a mashed potato connoisseur - matter of fact, I usually skip eating mashed potatoes when they're available. These mashed potatoes however were so flavorful! And it was not only the gravy doing all the talking, it was both the mash and the gravy. I was impressed! Lastly, the chicken Marsala. The chicken itself was cooked to perfection, moist on the inside & fully cooked - and with chicken breast, we all know how hard that is to accomplish. The sauce was incredible. I have never had any Marsala sauce as good as that. So much flavor, very savory. Altogether, the flavors worked together and worked perfectly. If only I wasn't an hour away, I would come here more often. I hope to be here again someday!

The service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant, but at these prices, and the taste of old grease from the grill, I could not recommend this restaurant. The bill was $39.97 and we did not have anything to drink! Go democrats! Lol!
