We were greeted in Spanish, I don't know if they understand English much because we pointed to the names on the items we wanted on the menu and asked for no jalapeños. Our item we asked for no jalapeños came with jalapeños. They only took some of the jalapeños off so it was a bit spicy for my liking. The crepes seemed like pancakes so they need to change the name on their menu items to pancakes instead It's nice inside, the decor is great but the lighting needs a bit of work because it doesn't pull the ambiance together. Seems like a spot for date night. I took my girls and were not really dressed up for this place that seems best to be dressed up for. We had to ask for boxes and then the check when I know I asked for it when we asked for the boxes. I do want to come by and try their drinks so I will give them another chance but when I'm with just my cousin instead with her and our kids.

Ambiance is really chic and picture ready. Really cute. Service was fast , celebrated my mother's birthday and seated all of us fast. We ordered a lot of things and everything was delicious! Had to ask to remake the cheeseburger and they didn't hesitate or gave us push back. Very professional. I highly recommend the camarones à la diabla ! Spicy but delicious! 10/10 recommend this place.

Trio

The food was very salty. I ordered the trio which included menudo, posole and birria. They were not hot they were warm almost cold. So I'm thinking they probably cook it the day before and just leave it out overnight and just serve it like that which is a big no no! I didn't finish my food because as i mentioned it was so salt and cold. And the menudo and posole was not good. My husband got the enchiladas and they were also extremely salty didn't finish his plate either. We will definitely not be returning.

I'm glad I gave Tulum Mexican Restaurant a try. The restaurant was very clean and I really liked the unique plates and cups--they added a nice, thoughtful touch to the dining experience. The food was good and enjoyable, and overall it was a pleasant visit. Happy I checked this place out and would recommend giving it a try if you're in the area. Service is nice, waitress was very nice to us and checked up on us frequently. Overall I give this restaurant a 3/5 star review. Thank you

If you're looking to take a step into authentic Mexico, look no further than Tulum in Manteca. From the very first step into the restaurant we were greeted right away with a smile and a handshake. We were immediately seated in the dining area and when we entered we immediately loved the vibe. It was like your own mini escape into Tulum with all the fresh and carefully selected decor. We sat down and decided on a couple cocktails. When I say that the only thing missing to a mini vacation was the beach after that first sip of the El Rompe Corazones, I kid you not. It tasted amazing with the perfect mix of coconut rum and guava juice. We decided on the birria Pambazos and obsessed over every bite. They were delicious, perfectly crafted and melted at every nibble. For my entree I went with the Empanadas a Cameron and could tell there was a lot of love and effort put into this meal, the seasoning was perfect, the tortillas used were homemade, and there was a perfect amount of cheese and sauce. We also ordered the Tacos de Ribeye and no crumb was left behind. Warm homemade tortillas wrapped around the perfect grill of steak left us stuffed and completely content. To finish off the evening I decided on one more cocktail, Tu Tormento, and it was exactly as it was described, intense and tropical If you're looking for a mini getaway that's light on the wallet but heavy on the vibe, make your way to this hidden boho-luxe experience.

Want to try out this new Mexican restaurant and I had El Trio and it's a combination of Menudo, posole, and birria. The Menudo was terrible. It looks sad and old tribe. The honeycomb was old. The service was good. Their homemade corn tortillas were very good, but I don't plan on going back to there again I'm a huge Menudo lover and that was my tester for Mexican restaurant. If the Menudo good and all the rest of the food is good, but this Menudo was not good. I don't recommend the Menudo.

From the moment we walked in, we could feel the heart behind this place. It's one of those rare restaurants where you instantly sense that it's family-owned -- full of warmth, kindness, and genuine care. Everyone was smiling, chatting, and making sure we felt comfortable. The atmosphere is beautiful It's the kind of place that reminds you why family-run restaurants are the heart of a community. Food we tried: chilaquiles, steak breakfast burrito, many kids food options, and enchiladas Stephanie was our favorite waitresses and took good care of us. She was very professional

Went here on Monday night and the service was incredible. Everything's homemade, the tortillas, tortilla chips, salsa. All very good authentic Mexican food. It's nice and clean inside. Music playing friendly people. Will definitely be back to try more!

Checked out the new Tulum Mexican Kitchen in Manteca. We ordered the queso fundido and the "trio" sampler (menudo, pozole, and barbacoa), plus sides of rice and beans. Flavors were solid, but most dishes arrived warm rather than hot--which was disappointing, especially for the menudo and pozole that I prefer piping hot. The queso fundido was the exception; it came out sizzling with chorizo on top. Tasty, though I wish it were a cheese sauce instead of straight melted cheese--once it cooled, it set into a single chewy piece. The location is in a shopping center with a pretty unassuming entrance, and you walk right into the bar area, so finding a host was a bit confusing. Overall, I'd give it another try next time we're in the area. The seasoning is there; I'm hoping the kitchen serves everything hot on the next visit.

Date night with my hubby..we sat at the bar and had two drinks.. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. We sat in the bar. Nice decor. Bartenders were charismatic and joy to be around. We will definitely come back but this time with another couple.

We were a party of 8. I would start by saying how cute this place was, the employees were all very nice. I ordered the Posole and thought it needed flavor, after reading other reviewsu I noticed someone saying their Posole was also bland. The pork was very fatty. I gave my leftovers a second chance and felt something in my mouth, it was a small bone. Another in our group said he felt like his food was bland. My daughter ordered the French toast, she said it was good and her BF ordered the Birria tacos, he also said his was good. Our drinks were all very good. But agree with other reviews that it was pricey.

Drove out to Manteca to run an errand with my hubby & found this wonderful place on Yelp. We We…read morevisited this restaurant on Yosemite Ave on Saturday around during peak lunch. On our visit they were only taking cash -luckily we had enough on us as the prices were very reasonable & portions huge! My hubby had the gigantic Chili relleno burrito with Carne asada & fresh veggies; i had the Huevos Mexicana with the very savory sauce on top that was not that spicy/perfect for my taste. I was pleasantly surprised with the homemade corn tortillas and homemade chips & salsa that came with our meals. Very clear that this place is frequented by a steady stream of regulars stopping by for take out, or sitting down for Menudo or Birria tacos. Highly recommend this place if you are hungry because of the large filling portions, quality & well prepared food at a small family run business. This location has several tables/indoor seating and was very clean/well maintained.

I ordered the three taco combo plate and you can mix and match the meats. I got all birria and it came with consome as well as rice and beans. The service was nice and quick. The tacos were very filling and the meat was juicy. The consome was really good as well. It did not have a lot of oil like other places. Overall I would for sure come back and try other things on their menu.

I ordered a chicken torta which in my opinion is now gonna be a go to for me when I'm in Manteca. The chips and salsa were fresh and very good. If you'd like to have a drink with your meal they have a full bar set up and if I wasn't driving , a margarita would've been a perfect match with my torta ... She said it will coast extra for slices of limes or lemon. She said that Is their rule...it blew my mind That asked for limes for Mexican Food At charge . That was Greed and lacked any customer Satisfaction for 2 slices of lemon or lime. It is common practice that all Mexican Latino restaurants, taquerias, That serve Mexican food will Not charge for 2 slices of lemon or lime Cmon el Jardin you lost a good customer Over charging for lime slices...unbelievable It's the point of them just being greedy . Also on all Honesty el jardin manteca is priced way over the top for average Mexican food. !
