Strawberry cheesecake matcha drink is 10/10! I can definitely taste the quality of the matcha and the strawberry isn't too sweet. There are cheesecake swirls in the drink which is amazing! Tried the chocolate muffin and I was afraid it was going to be too chocolatey but it actually was pretty decent. Update: came back again bc my daughter and I really enjoyed our drinks last time. Sunday, 3/22/26, came about 10am and there was a crowd already. This time I saw the pastries and was filled with many varieties (woohoo)! Ordered the drinks and was still good. This coffee shop is so cute!! Attached to a remodeled hotel so parking is limited. The coffee shop it's self is cozy, a few small tables around and outdoor seating when it's not raining. The matcha was not good but their seasonal toffee coffee was delicious, not too sweet. I tried it both iced and hot and liked them both ways. Let's get into this cute cafe in Salina's. Right when you arrive it's a show stopper. The entry way is so unique. When we entered the cafe there was plenty of seating and the open window lighting was very nice. The staff was very friendly and assisted us with suggestions since it was our first time. The service was quick and efficient. I will say to get here early if you want some of their pastries since the ones I wanted were sold out. There doesn't seem to be a ton of parking inside the gate, but cars were starting to park on the shoulder of the road out front. I chose some sort of heavenly pastry creation with what seemed like a crème brûlée bottom, topped with lemon pastry, cream, and blueberries... and I am not exaggerating when I say it may have been one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten in my life. The combination of flavors and textures was absolutely unreal. Sweet, tart, creamy, caramelized perfection. Tried the Cardamom ice latte, it was pretty good but the chocolate croissant was amazing!!!!! They have a beautiful, modern, welcoming atmosphere. However girl behind the counter didn't seem thrilled to be there. She had a bad attitude, we said hi and she didn't say hi or give us some sort of welcoming. Anyways, we ordered our drinks then I asked about a croissant that seemed different than the others and she kind of gave me attitude and said "it's chocolate" when it clearly had other toppings then said "oh" and pointed at the menu irritated. We were driving through Modesto area and in need of some coffee and I am SO GLAD we decided to stop here. Not only were the lattes (honey lavender, toffee crunch) we ordered amazing, but the three pastries (morning bun, spinach cheese turnover, and chocolate muffin) we tried were incredible and impressive. I ended up getting the strawberry masala chai... when I tell you, this was SO GOOD. It was different than a traditional chai, with more citrusy notes to it. I had been wanting to try this little cafe since it opened and I finally got the chance to try it yesterday. I ordered a cookie butter latte and a bagel with cream cheese, tomato, micro greens, and avocado. It was $18. Pretty pricey if you ask me, but it's OK if the food/ drink is good. I was disappointed in the food because my bagel was so hard- it tasted old. I ate most of it because I was so hungry but I had to saw through the bagel with a knife to cut it. The cookie butter latte unfortunately tasted nothing like cookie butter. It wasn't bad, but it just tasted like a plain latte with a cookie thrown on top. There was no cookie butter flavor to the actual coffee itself at all. On a more positive note, the cafe itself was really cute inside and very aesthetically pleasing. The bathroom inside the cafe was also very cute and clean. The outside area of the cafe was nice as well. They had some nice looking pastries in the display case, but I didn't order any so I can't comment on their taste. Overall, I don't think I would return- the coffee just didn't wow me like I hoped. It's perfectly balanced and easily one of the best specialty drinks I've had. Our family also tried the pesto turkey sandwich and it was a hit, fresh, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. You can really tell everything here is thoughtfully prepared and fresh. The service truly stands out. The owners are incredibly hospitable, warm, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Ambience- it's put together nicely . The inside is well done but I feel they need to be better at cleaning the tables off between customers . The outside area is exactly what our area needed . Such a great place to sit and enjoy a coffee with friends. Maybe I was not in the mood, maybe I'm too old . There was a DJ outside and cool . But it felt out of place ,it was too loud for a place to sit and relax and chat with friends. If It was open in the evening I would understand but not for breakfast coffee . I noticed there was additional sitting in front of the coffee shop away from the back garden area . Not quite sure if it was open for only the hotel customers or the coffee shop customers as well . I didn't know this place existed and I am glad I found it! I loved their Dirt Chai;my friend had the Match Latte (it has no added sweet so if you like sweet drinks ask for the sweetener in it). It's a small cute place that has outdoor seating and sits on the premise of the hotel!
