Where is the meat?! ‍
Jocelyn V.

Their tamales suck! There's no meat in them! They may be big, but it's all masa! I will definitely not come here again for tamales

Happy 50*Th BirThdaY TiM. This does not look like a special order cake.

We were very disappointed with the service here. Their cakes are good but I don't think I'll be ordering from them again. For my husband's 50th birthday, I ordered a cake a couple weeks prior. My mother-in-law went to pick it up on the date specified and the bakery had no record of my order. I gave my MIL my order slip to show them. They were saying they threw the cake away because they made it last week and we didn't pick it up (even through the pick up date was for the day my MIL was there). The lady who was working ended up having a white cake that she wrote on, as I had requested on the order form. The next problem is that she is not a cake decorator and it looked awful. Also, with this hassle and them being at fault, I thought they might waive the remaining $10 due. They didn't. I was shocked when my MIL brought the cake to my house. The party was in an hour so there wasn't anything I could do. I was hesitant to put it out but did anyway. I heard comments at the party that a four year old could have done better. Thankfully it tasted good. Since then, I wanted to give the bakery a chance to make it right. I went to the bakery twice and called once and they kept saying the owner wasn't available. I gave up trying to get a hold of her.

Only a few sugar breads left. Some flaky and some soft but all delicious!

I go here for the pandulce and I love it! They have a really large selection and it's all so delicious and fresh. My cost is about $10 for a dozen assorted and they don't last long no matter where I take them. Yum!!

Manteconchas
Liz S.

I can only speak to the manteconchas... I repeat MANTECONCHAS! I searched around town for a Panaderia that was making this delicious treats after a friend send me a photo. I called a few places and this one just asked how many and took my order. However they had mentioned previously that the Baker that knows how to make these is only there during the weekdays. I am not sure if they make them daily but if you call ahead they will make you some and cost $1 each. (I called around 8am and they were ready by 2pm) They're pretty big and super delicious. I thought it was the perfect blend of a mantecada and a concha.

I decided to give it another try and the tamales got much better! They're a good size for the cost and enough ingredients.

First time and the last time... The service was horrible, the tamales we're burn and dried. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Among the pastries, I've tried most of them, and my favorite has to go to the Smoked Sausage Bread and the Walnut Cream Bread. Both are always so addicting to munch on, and honestly just a must purchase every visit. I often grab a box of Green Tea Roll Cake for my family and they absolutely love it as well. Very well presented and not too sweet. Perfect mix of flavor as well, highly recommend. Cake slices here are a must try if you're ordering a cake. They're perfect size to test all the flavors of cakes. Selection is extensive so there's all kinds for each taste bud. My favorite is definitely the tiramisu and strawberry soft cream. The soft cream is very flavorful, melts in your mouth and best part is that it's not too sweet. I love the presentation as well since it's not too flashy nor too cheap. Serves plenty which is perfect for any special occasion. My wife loved the selection as I got that to celebrate her birthday. Drinks wise, I've only tried their matcha latte but it's absolutely one of my favorites hands down. Cup is huge for a large, and I was handed the drink fairly quick on a busy day. This cafe has plenty of tables and I often see people doing work here or just hanging out, a perfect spot in a busy plaza. Overall, one of my favorite spots, always a pleasure to purchase anything here for snacks or a meal filler. I highly recommend downloading their app to get rewards, deals, and a free cake slice of your choice on your birthday.

Paris Baguette is one of my top 3 favorite bakeries of all time. I prefer this location in Chino…read moreHills even more than other locations I've visited. The store is decently sized with an ample amount of tables and seating, as well as a wide variety of sweet & savory pastries, cakes, sandwiches, beverages, and even more baked goods. Some of my favorite pastries here are strawberry croissant, pastry frank, and walnut cream bread. I've also had many of their other pastries, which are always delightful to eat. The textures and flavors of everything are spot on. For cakes, I believe the strawberry soft cream cake is one of the best cakes you can find. The cream is soft & light and does not taste overly sweet, which is perfect for me. My wonderful husband bought me this whole cake for my last birthday. Candles can be provided at no additional cost. If you don't want a whole cake, thankfully this place offers roll cakes, in addition to many of their whole cakes available as cake slices. I just tried the rainbow cake recently, which tasted pretty good and also felt light. Each of the six layers had different fruity undertones. One thing that really surprised me from here is the iced matcha latte. I was impressed by the quality of the matcha and smoothness of the latte. You are able to customize the milk selection, ice level, and sweetness level. It was a refreshing beverage that I enjoyed. Make sure to join their rewards program to collect points!

I first tried their chocolate birthday cake from a…read moreprevious party, and it was so incredibly rich and decadent that I knew I had to come back for more. When I returned, they were actually sold out of that specific cake (clearly a fan favorite!), so I decided to try to buy my son a graduation cake, and a nice gentleman recommended their mixed ganache chocolate topping cake. It featured beautiful white and chocolate layers with a light, airy mousse that was absolutely delicious. My son also tried their strawberry cheesecake, and he said it was "Bombay all day"--he absolutely loved it! Whether you have a special occasion or just want to treat yourself, you need to stop by. Don't wait for a birthday--just grab a slice to take home and enjoy. I'm definitely coming back! And thank you for your Hospitality.

The customer service was also fantastic. There's an Asian girl who's always there when I visit she's incredibly sweet, helpful, and welcoming every time. Overall, an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

I stopped by again yesterday after our Costco run and my husband and I got some treats. Found some new items I haven't had or seen before. I then took advantage of their monthly coupon for BOGO 50% off on some of their drinks. Was bummed to see they were out of the Vietnamese Coffee, but it worked out because I got the Sea Salt Coffee which I think is my new favorite! We also got a bunch of our usual pastries and I am in love with the pastry I had here yesterday that was the Coffee Cruffin. The filling is so addicting and delicious. Prices are also not bad for each item, like $2-$3ish, but it can add up. Everything I got, minus the drinks, was like $23 which isn't bad for all the items you get. Our drinks did take awhile, but they were so busy so we didn't mind waiting. We decided to enjoy our treats in their outside seating which I prefer because it's a nice view and less chaotic than the inside. I recommend coming here early because by the end of the day a lot of stuff can sell out. It does get really busy in waves, but I always have a good experience here and feel like this location has a bit more to offer than the others I've been to.

I enjoy coming in before work, but they're consistently unprepared before 8am (they open at 7am). The shop usually has very few pastry options available to choose from because they're still prepping the items in the back to bring out. Today, they had a singular non-sweet pastry option but it was unfortunately my least favorite item so I didn't get anything for myself. It's a disappointing and an easy fix with more employees or allowing them hours that better support thier ability to be prepared for opening but remains unchanged in the last 10 months since I started coming.
