A powerful little place! I think it has a following of loyal customer who like the small town feel of it and the owner who is always here and gives GREAT customer service. I don't love donuts but everyone I know does and they appreciate the AM's nuts. As an outside salesman I I'm always looking for a great place to get my Fix, Coffee of course. One day I stumbled upon this Hidden Gem. it's tucked behind the 7-Eleven but definitely worth going to. The owner Ben, his beautiful wife Linda and their Beautiful daughter Blanca run this place. Nine times out of 10 you will be greeted with a good morning, buenos dias or how are you. Blanca always have such a nice smile on her face and always eager to help. The coffee amazing I just drink it black, but they also have a coffee with cinnamon which is to die for very tasty with a light hint of cinnamon. The place is small but definitely were stopping in, they have a nice selection of donuts and Mexican pastries. I chose this donut shop based on the yelp rating, other reviews and their hours of operation. I visited this store at 10PM and I came here for chocolate bars and a ham and cheese croissant. Things to point out: The Donut Shop is located in between a bar and a 7eleven not a very family friendly place to visit at 10PM on a weekend. Especially when the drunkies are wondering about. Also, they had NO!! Chocolate bars! WTF! Huge fail. Last thing, there is a 50¢ fee on all credit/debit card purchases, not really a big deal but just letting you know. I ended up getting a couple original glazed, a couple other chocolate donuts and the ham and cheese croissant. The donuts appeared somewhat appetizing Original Glazed - C Chocolate Glazed - D Ham and Cheese Croissant - C Overall my experience wasn't good, I wouldn't go back and I wouldn't suggest this place to others. read more

While in town, I wanted to make sure leave with a few of my co-workers were happy for a Friday... so I stopped by and picked up a dozen of donuts and a dozen of bagels. The service was great, and I was happy to have been able to be treated to such wonderful pastries. I felt bad for coming in and disrupting the normal flow of customers that came in and got a cup of coffee and a donut... but with the flow of people, that kept on coming in, I knew that I was in for a treat. I brought in all the goodies to work, and as soon as I told them that they were from AM donuts... the word quickly got around the office and they were consumed in less than 10 minutes. This is not the crispy crem. Thank goodness it's not. I like the donuts in this shop. They bring it out old skul kine. This is a little donut shop that also serves bagel sammich. Bring cash. Using a credit card will cost you 45 cent (I think) extra. read more

I was in SoCal for Thanksgiving and learned there were 2 kinds of crullers, one baked and the other fried. I started to lookup donut stores near my aunt's house and found Am Donuts. I read about their Ham and cheese croissants and so I went over the day before Thanksgiving and they are open 24 hours. I came over at 8 am and they were already out of them. The lady there told me to come back in an hour. I didn't return until I left for home on Saturday. I ordered one and noticed there were ones with jalapenos in the filling. She asked if I like spicy food, and I do, so I bought one. While I was waiting for it to be reheated in the microwave, she asked If I wanted a drink with that. I would've got one, but I had already been to the 7-11 around the corner and bought a large Slurpee, so I didn't. It was really good. Now I know why its mentioned in its reviews so much. read more

This place is really great. The breakfast bagels are amazing! Their cinnamon rolls are huge and the ice blended coffee really hit the spot. Kelvin provided such great service and was very patient with us when we didn't know what to get. The donut shop is quiet so it was a nice placebo hang for a bit. I love this little family owned place. I love the coffee here and the egg bacon cheese bagel sandwiches are soooo good. Prices are fair and I'm always greeted warmly. I come here twice a week or more and I've gotten to where I look forward to walking in and being recognized and seeing nice warm smiling faces that ask about my day or weekend and it be because of genuine interest and not forced conversation. Don't forget to to bring cash cuz paying debit will cost you 50 cents extra. I guess I could be sorta considered a regular cuz when I walk in the father of the family already starts filling up my large coffee! Which by the way is only $1.99. Came here for some Guatemala bread and was very pleased in the popular ones this donut shop had. The donuts look very yummy and the cashier or owner was a super kind lady. She told us when her best breads were made (which was in the morning) and said how she ensures that they will always be fresh. It was also quite clean inside and was super glad there wasn't any flies inside the donut displays unlike other donut shops. Will definitely be back for bread in the morning! read more

Many donuts are just 99 cents and the guy is super nice at night. Never have any problems here like you do at other donut shops (like grand slam in Rancho) where they try to overcharge you, rip you off, or change prices. read more
