First time purchasing here. I was too lazy to drive to my usual place so I stopped by this place since it was on my way. I'll give them 2 stars because they were open very early and they were well stocked with donuts. It was around 0515 in the morning so I thought the donuts would be very fresh and moist. Unfortunately they were not. They tasted like the donuts that have been sitting for 2 days on the counter. They were not soft and a were a bit hard. After a few hours, they were really dry. Definitely wouldn't go back. I paid almost $40 for 2 dozen donuts that tasted like the ones that come in a box at the grocery store. First time here, first impression: Customer service needs improvement. The lady who was working was complaining as we were waking into the store that she was working 5a to 5p today. We ordered a dozen donuts. She seemed annoyed as I was telling her which donuts I wanted etc. (Note it wasn't busy, one other person walked in during the middle of me ordering). After she got my order, she closed the box & she said "$16.50" right away. I said can we also get coffee? She ignored me and just said $16.50 again. Extremely rude. I was planning on getting a couple croissants & a coffee or two but after that interaction, I decided not to buy anything else from this business. With multiple donut shops around, I don't see myself returning anytime soon. Hopefully at least the donuts taste good. read more

We have patronized Pam's Donuts for many years. The owners are awesome, and they make you feel like part of the family. Their donuts are fresh and delicious. I love the classic glazed and maple bars. They also have sandwiches and ice cream. In addition to a wide selection of donuts, ice cream, and sandwiches, they have an extensive selection of California Lottery scratchers. Coupled with the extensive selection, their sales volume is extremely high. Thus, they go through a lot of tickets and have a lot of winners. They post the winning redeemed tickets all over their window, which gives you hope of becoming a scratcher winner. On my last visit, I purchased a ten dollar "Set for Life" scratcher. I just scratched off the barcode and scanned it. Low and behold I hit a $100 winner. My donut tasted even better after that. Pam's is a great place to get a donut, a coffee, and do some scratching. BEST DONUT SHOP IN TOWN!!! This is definitely a local spot. Where else can you go where the owners know you by name and already know what you want?? Paul and his wife are super friendly and always have a smile for you. Donuts are the bomb, the best, superb!!!! The morning crowd is always the same.... Coffee, Scratchers, and Donuts. They can be a bit loud at times but they're harmless...especially the one who tells Paul he always gives her $#!++¥ tickets. Ahahhaha!! Pam's also makes pretty kick a$$ sandwiches....my personal favorite is Turkey on a roll, toasted. And last but not least... This is the place to get high dollar winning SCRATCHERS! This review is strictly for LOTTO ^_^ Since I go into Ontario every 2-3 months for rheumatology appointments I'm always looking for lucky lotto spots to go try ^_^ One day I was looking through the mainpage feed on Yelp and someone posted a picture of a winning scratcher worth 1,000 dollars and I immediately booked marked it! I knew I had to get there on my next trip and I was able to go on my last run to Ontario and I was blown away! The minute you walked in there was a never ending trail of winners tickets all over the donut shop! Not to mention she has 2 scratcher machines and scratchers in her display case!! I totally forgot about the donuts and went straight to the scratchers! Extremely rude! I went in this morning and there was a sign on the door that said "One person at a time". So I waited to be let in and when i come in the lady says, "Was there a line or what?" When I told her I was the only one she scoffs at me like I'm wasting her time by coming in and trying to abide by her sign. I then had to tell her 3 times that i wanted a dozen donuts before she reacted to me. She just stared at me prior to this like I wasn't supposed to be there. I asked her if everything was okay and if I did anything wrong and she just said "OKAY WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" She begrudgingly gave me my dozen donuts and I then asked her for a ham and cheese croissant with NO JALAPENOS. So of course she grabs the one with JALAPENOS all over. I decided I'd just take it and not antagonize her by correcting her and said I'll take it cold. So then she stuck it in the microwave and made me wait 2 minutes for it to burn and then overcharge me. I was in no mood to argue with this woman but LITERALLY every step of the way she was rude and seemed like she was purposely trying to drive me away. With the whole Corona Virus situation you would think people would want to be a little nice to the few customers still out and about helping you keep your business afloat. When my siblings were staying with us for a short time during the summer and we wanted some decent donuts one morning, yelp led us here. Little did I know that Pam's would open me up to the world of lotto scratchers and the tastiest donuts to boot! I already knew what kind of donuts I wanted but was overwhelmed by a lengthy wall of winning lotto scratchers. That very morning I rubbed elbows with two winners; one of $1000 and the other of $500. I just had to buy one and try my luck. Sadly no winning ticket that visit and the numerous other times when I was craving a "donut." I wasn't too big of a lotto player then and I suppose I'm not addicted to gambling now but I have noticed a spike in my purchases compared to a year ago. I have been to so many doughnut places and this little place is seriously THE BEST!!! Their donuts are so damn good. I can no longer enjoy a doughnut unless it's from this place. I've literally tried every single one and cannot decide on which one is my favorite. Anytime we have work meetings, I always bring in a dozen or two for the staff and the gobble it all up. My boyfriend tipped me off about this place. I absolutely LOVE this place to play my lotto. It was a good idea for the owners of the establishment to hang up winning lotto and scratcher winners. This would make any citizen feel lucky and just feel they have to spend their money on lotto which makes for good business because it's always packed. This shop seems to really cash in on lotto and scratcher plays; I don't see how they really bring in the dough other than that. I've got my family now going in to buy their lotto and donuts. Those are good, but once earlier this month when I pointed to the owner/employee to the donut I wanted I saw flies in the donut keeper and landing on the perishables. Made me sick to my stomach!
