Purchased two surprise bags from here from too good to go and I will never come to this establishment ever again. Not only were the donuts incredibly stale, the two women working the front were really rude and when I asked if I could purchase a box because the surprise bags were just a dozen donuts stuffed, literally stuffed and squeezed into paper bags, they declined saying I need to purchase a dozen fresh donuts in order to receive a box. I did not ask for a free box or a discount of any sort, I asked if I could purchase a blank pink pastry box. Not only were they rude, but just generally unhelpful. I noticed that they only gave me one of my two orders, and one of the women attempted to argue with me about it when it was clearly displayed on my phone. I instead ended up going to the Painted Dough directly next-door and getting a box from them which they graciously gave me for free any time I am over here with the hankering for a doughnut. Moved to the area recently from the east coast and was craving a sweet treat to remind me of some of my favorite donuts from home. Stumbled upon Manna Donuts and I'm glad I did! I grabbed a variety of donuts, each one was absolutely delicious. So good that I decided to come back the next day to try more! The only thing sweeter than a tasty donut here is the owner Helen. She's always so polite and helpful. She makes letter and number donuts so this is always my go to spot for special occasions. Stopped by on a rainy evening (3/2/19 around 8PM just before closing. There was a decent selection of donuts left. I was eyeing the ham and cheese & jalapeño croissant, but we had just eaten dinner. We ended up trying: Chocolate twist Chocolate round Strawberry cake donut Donut holes And the owner gave us a free crumb donut. He was very kind and offered good seecife. The donuts were delicious! Perfectly fluffy dough and melted in my mouth. I can honestly say I was quite impressed; I was glad we decided to stop by on a whim. Tasty, fresh and moist donuts. Got a dozen, and the ones I had were delicious. Buttermilk donuts are my favorite and they had a good crisp on them. The chocolate glaze was on point. The glazed donuts were really soft and moist, just like a Krispy Kreme. Honestly, so good! We even tried some filled donuts and they were okay too, not filled evenly but at that point who cares.
