I stumbled on this place after work today in 100 degree weather. Sally and I chatted it up I told her how it was hard to stop by in the morning because I'm headed the opposite direction but today, I was plentiful surprised to visit got my old fashion chocolate donuts and a smoothie for this hot day. The low down: Donuts are AMAZING. Soft, fresh, tasty. That's what's most important right? Ample parking, and plenty of seating. The workers have a LOT of personality. They are funny and encourage you to buy more and have had me laughing every time. Setting: Not somewhere I'd feel comfortable bringing my family at night to be honest. The shop itself is well lit, but the surroundings area leaves much to be desired. The inside looks like just a lot of random left over seats and signs from the 80's. Eclectic for sure. Also they charge $1 if you use anything besides cash, which can be inconvenient if you're buying a $5 half dozen donut box. Also they don't have AC so if it's a hot day, might consider getting your donuts to go. If you're up for a little adventure with some friends (or a good story), or grabbing donuts to go, this is a great local donut shop. read more

Worst customer service. The coffee is a good standard cup of coffee and the only reason I keep coming back. The donuts are greasy and not light or have that "airy" donut feel. The Manager: William Chaing and his staff have this pretentious attitude about themselves and it feels like they couldn't give a damn about you coming into their shop. Yea, it's in a barrio but come on! Slap on a smile and show some appreciation for those people who support your business. I've never had this type of horrible customer service from any donut shop. Came here to get crumb donuts and when I opened my bag all the crumbs have fallen off, because the donuts are not fresh! Ripped off, I will go somewhere else for now on, it's a hit or miss in this place for fresh donuts. read more

I believe I was racially profiled .. went in with my two kids and I used to be a regular but due to this experience.. never again ... There was a man that I have only seen twice .. took my order and as we walked together to the register area to pay .. he told me , "we don't accept food stamps" I had no intentions of paying with food stamps .. I don't even own any ( not talking down about those who need food stamps , and use food stamps) but the fact that I was didn't even get a chance to reach into my purse to grab my wallet and he hits me with that .. totally unacceptable . I used to go here all the time. Then they brought in some guy who is rude and hateful and refuses to make the blended drinks. Always has a bull crap excuse. Then one night I go and he again has some reason he can't make a blended drink so I go to leave and another customer orders a blended drink and he made it for her I was like excuse me you just said you couldn't make them he said not for you but her yes. I was pissed I will not and have not been back since. On top of that they have scary people who hang around there at all times My family and I are big on coffee donuts and ice blended drinks as are my friends and after the service we went from going daily two to three times a day to not going anymore Its across the street from us in block and was easily accessed but when you treat costumer like crap. The donuts are delicious but the service is iffy. They charge you a dollar for card transactions! They don't have any variety of creamer, they leave out a pitcher with the one creamer they serve, but switch it out with a refrigerated one ever so often at least. And no creamers to go?!! I'd pay a dollar more for the donuts in order to fix all that just not to the merchant services they use. read more

I would come here roughly every morning before work until one day I accidentally spilled my coffee on the counter. You would think they would refill my small styrofoam cup however they instead wanted to charge me a 2nd cup. Customer service is definitely lacking at this run down location. I don't know if it's a cultural thing or what not however I have not returned since my negative experience. read more
