Morning staff needs to be more than one person...I waited 35 min for a chocolate cup, no hate to the girl grinding by herself @ 11am but a faulty on the owners:( Dubai chocolate cup was good though so I'd recommend it but don't go when they first open...very very understaffed
Hubby got my birthday cake from here last night and it was so yummy! It was a fully chocolate cake, not overly sweet and it was moist. The young lady who helped was very friendly.
Small shop but has quite a bit of options. First time so we got quite a few things. Mocha Cake - not too sweet and subtle mocha flavor. I'm a mocha cake fan and this didn't disappoint. Eclair - they have cream and custard filled. I got the cream and it was above average. Really like it. Lemon Bar - my wife loves lemon bars and this was at the top of the ones she's had Cream Puffs - they are filled with cream and we had a plain and and chocolate covered puff. Didn't try it but got raves from the family Napoleon - they have cream, custard and a third. We got the cream and custard. The cream was light and custard wasn't too heavy. They both had great flavor. Only negative was that they were a tad soggy. Not much of a crunch. Wife is from New York so we also stop by delis and get napoleons. The main difference is the crunch. But absolutely would get again. The staff was welcoming and very helpful.
Stop by today after dinner because I was in the mood for something sweet. They are located next to Noodle St. they have a few tables and chairs outside which would have been nice to sit at and have our dessert but due to the rain we went home. They have a little bit of everything from croissants, cheesecake, cupcakes, macarons, fruit tarts, cannolis, Dubai chocolate bars and cakes. I ordered the NY cheesecake, Oreo and pistachios macarons. I'm coming back to try the Matcha.
Glad to see they opened a new location here at the same plaza where 99 Ranch/ Target is. I don't need to drive all the way to Corona for some baked goodies! Their pastries, cannolis, chocolate cakes, baclavas, fruit tarts are the best. I've tried other similar places and there's a clear difference in quality. I like how they sell coffee here too. Come here if you like sweets!
I hope this isn't a seasonal/temp item! I'm not huge on sweet drinks but this drink was perfect I love bringing my son for little coffee dates and this bakery is perfect for our treats and drinks
Came here shortly after it opened on Sunday morning around 11 am. Bought the only 6" tres leches cake that was in the display case. There were an array of other cakes, cookies and drinks. The cake looked fresh and was confirmed to be freshly made. It was boxed nicely with a plastic happy birthday sign and a cake cutter. Candles can be purchased at the store. The cake was $30.. okay priced. The other 6" version of cakes are only $25 and red velvet needs to be ordered in advance. Great service as I was greeted upon arrival. Parking is convenient as it's located in a large plaza. I would want to come back and try the other desserts
My wife picked up a surprise birthday cake from Choco Bakery & Cafe in Chino for the first time. The cake was simple and elegantly decorated which made me afraid that it was going to be disappointing since most cakes that look great tend to compromise flavor and texture. To my surprise, the chocolate ganache was delightful. Perfectly balanced, smooth, not too sweet, rich and chocolatey. The cake was also springy and moist with the perfect taste and texture. They also had a selection of per-packed, imported Turkish Delight. Quite exotic and delicious. Unlike the commercially made stuff, they had some unique flavors that you won't easily find.
This place have been opened for ten months. They have a variety of cakes, pastries and lots of desserts. Compliments well with the Italian and sushi restaurant next to it. Now a new ice cream place opened a few doors. Perfect pairings for after dinner.
Review 8 of 2025 I purchased one vanilla and chocolate cupcakes. The size of the cupcake was much smaller than the traditional cupcakes. The cupcakes were not airy or spongy. It tasted more like a very thick cake in a cupcake. The frosting flavoring was different and perfect sweetness. Overall, it was just ok. All the cakes and pastries are crafted beautifully and looks really cute. They also serve coffee and latte. Service was good. Ambiance is small and nice. Price is a little bit on the high end. I've been to Choco Bakery & Cafe twice now. The first time, we tried the cream éclair, dulce de leche Napoleon, and vanilla roll. My 3-year-old loved the éclair and finished it in minutes, which says a lot since he's picky. I tried it too--it had a light, crispy shell, creamy filling, and a smooth chocolate glaze. The flavor was sweet but not overly sugary. At $5 each, it wasn't cheap, but it was a good size. The dulce de leche Napoleon, though, was a bit soggy because there was too much cream, but it wasn't bad. The vanilla roll wasn't anything special, but at $3 for a big slice, it seemed like good value. Overall, we liked the place because my kid enjoyed the éclair, which isn't easy to achieve. We went back recently to get another éclair for my kid since he liked it so much the first time. But this time, I noticed that some of the pastries in the display didn't look fresh. The chocolate rolls looked half smashed, some Napoleons looked stale and stuck together, and the rest just didn't look appealing. I only bought a cream éclair and left. At home, I gave it to my son, but he struggled to eat it, which was odd. I thought he was just being fussy, but when I tried it, I realized why--it was stale. The shell was hard and dry, and the chocolate topping tasted slightly bitter. It felt like it had been sitting there for too long. I was upset because this was so different from the éclair we had last time. One small thing I noticed was inconsistency with the tax. On my first visit, I wasn't charged tax for three items, but on the second visit, I was taxed for just one of the same items I bought last time. The receipt didn't clearly show what I bought; it just said "Assortment Pastries," no indication if there was tax or not. It's not a big deal, but I find that kind of inconsistency annoying. Overall, the freshness issue was the biggest problem. I don't think I'll go back because stale pastries are a dealbreaker for me. It's a shame because the first experience was promising.
Love the pastries. Our favorite are the eclairsn chocolate crossaints and the Dulce de Leche Neopolian. We decided to try a cake for a special occasion. What a huge let down! It was a beautiful cake. We chose the white cake with strawberries. The icing was delicious. The cake not so much. It had a rough crumb and was dry in texture. There was some sort of liquid, (which they did not tell me about when I asked what was in the cake) in one of the crumbs layers and that surely did not lend any help to the cake. Strawberries were scarce in the filling. For $40 I expect an amazing soft delicious cake. We will keep visiting for the pastries, just not the cakes.

I cannot recommend Choco Bakery & Cafe enough! I first tried their chocolate birthday cake from a previous party, and it was so incredibly rich and decadent that I knew I had to come back for more. When I returned, they were actually sold out of that specific cake (clearly a fan favorite!), so I decided to try to buy my son a graduation cake, and a nice gentleman recommended their mixed ganache chocolate topping cake. It featured beautiful white and chocolate layers with a light, airy mousse that was absolutely delicious. My son also tried their strawberry cheesecake, and he said it was "Bombay all day"--he absolutely loved it! Whether you have a special occasion or just want to treat yourself, you need to stop by. Don't wait for a birthday--just grab a slice to take home and enjoy. I'm definitely coming back! And thank you for your Hospitality. read more
I was thinking, jjust one sweet stop in Chino Hills and accidentally walked into dessert paradise!! Choco Bakery & Cafe had way too many good options, so I spent a lot of time looking at the goodies and walked out w Dulce de Leche cookies, cream puffs, and a Vanilla roll. Zero regrets!!!! I didn't even make it home before I fonished everything.... maybe a lack of self-control, but worth it, haha!! Nothing was overly sweet, everything was delicious, and my wallet didn't feel personally attacked. I'm already planning my return for the Dubai Chocolate and whatever else whispers my name from the display case next time. read more
Located in Chino Spectrum Marketplace, is this small bakery shop. As soon as you enter, it's very organized, clean, and very much a bakery type elegancy to it. They have plentiful of choices between pastries, breads, cakes, & a sizeable drinks menu. You might have a hard time deciding what to get on a first time visit because of the numerous choices. Parking here is never a problem, there's parking everywhere (literally) and best part is that it's free. Staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a variety of questions as I was curious about many of the pastries and the staff was very professional about it, very patient & friendly. I ended up ordering a block of the Tiramisu cake to try, ($5) along with a slice of the pistachio & Ricotta Cake ($5) for my wife and I to share. Both are great choices and among the popular recommendations by customers and staff. For a bakery, this might be one of the best tiramisu I've ever had. Not too sweet but fits the style of a late night bite. Super smooth & great presentation as well. I would say it has a pretty exotic taste to it. This shop is one of the places I would recommend to try their pastries and small slices of cake. Very much affordable & good quality. read more

We were very excited to visit this bakery for the first time because of their Instagram reviews and very happy that they had Dubai Chocolate. We were very saddened by the flavor and quality of the Dubai chocolate. We would rate it a 2/10. The cost was $15 and the size was much smaller than a table spoon. The flavor was nothing compared to a real Dubai chocolate bar. We didn't mind paying the price for it until we felt the flavor and quality did not add up to the cost. Unfortunately , we are not sure we will return. read more

I came in a few days before my friends birthday and the cake was not only adorable and decorated as requested but my friends and I also mentioned how it was so moist and delicious! So glad I saw this on the way out from Target. Plenty of parking in this very big complex and it's right at the corner so it's very easy to find!! Pretty friendly service almost moving along the lines like Porto bakery. It didn't get too busy yet, but it will be interesting to see how the lines will be managed when it does get busy. It is pretty tight space in there so I do anticipate lines going out the door. Apparently, there are other locations and there are many choices of different types of pastries and coffee. I tried the Napoleon cream (there is napoleon custard too), vanilla cake and chocolate croissant. I have to say the cream is really light and not too sweet. The Napoleon is as flaky as it gets. It is not too dry, but definitely your lip gloss is going to have crumbs stuck all over. Pricewise is really reasonable for $3-4 dollars per item. We'll be back to try the coffee another day. They also have a lot of box treats for grab and go like sour punch, Starburst, macarons. read more
I got to stop by for the grand opening a little after 4:30pm. From the moment you step foot into the bakery, you're greeted by the workers who were excited to meet new and curious patrons. Since there were so many pastries to look at, it took me a while to decide what I wanted. They were all patient with the groups that came after me and happily answered questions we had. The man who was helping me was kind and provided warm hospitality. I told him about how I knew of the grand opening and turns out we're neighbors! What were the odds haha. I ordered the berry tart, creme brûlée, pistachio rum ball, and tiramisu. All were reasonably priced and were not too sweet. I also ordered the pistachio latte since I love Qamaria's pistachio latte and while it's slightly different from it, it's still really tasty. I look forward to supporting this bakery and bringing my family to visit :) read more

We are not from the area but we noticed this bakery and cafe through all the traffic and chaos. I wasn't quite sure what to get so I asked the barista for her recommendation. Since I like, lightly sweet, she said I should try the Pistachio Latte hot. Now if I'm going to ask for a recommendation I need to follow up with an "I'll take one!" So I did and let me tell you, it's the best latte I have had all year long!!! So glad we decided to try this place out. The bakery items were nothing short of a piece of heaven. Everything is fresh and handmade. You can taste the skill and love in everything we purchased there. You gotta give it a try. Happy Holidays read more

I completely recommend this shop for birthday cakes! My experience with choco bakery has been great! I called and booked my son's birthday cake the week of and the whole process and communication has been a breeze. I sent an inspiration photo over and specify the color and texture of whipped cream that I wanted. Melika confirmed their sample color and the texture with me through photo, which was very smart because the original wasn't what I wanted. The final product turned out to be perfect, it was just what I wanted! THANK YOU CHOCO BAKERY for making my son's birthday cake so perfectly and affordable!!! read more

I have visited this place twice and both times we've been satisfied with the service and the quality. The napoleon is my favorite - it's light, airy, and just the right amount of sweetness. The pistachio latte is superb. I can appreciate a coffee shop where I can taste the espresso, not watered down coffee. It is small, but the lines move pretty fast. I've ordered inside and walked out because it was too crowded and the young lady brought out my coffee - which was nice. The service is good, no complaints. I haven't received any stale pastries and I bought 4-6 per visit both times I've visited. My family loves to frequent 85, so this is a nice option on this side of town. Overall, we are glad they're in town. We will be repeating customers and visit again soon. read more

I can't thank Chocho Bakery enough for making my husband's 42nd birthday extra special! I wanted a custom cake that would bring back childhood memories, and knowing that the owner and baking chef are from Syria-where the flavors are so close to what we grew up with in Iran--I knew this was the perfect place to order from. A huge shoutout to Katia, who baked our cake with such artistry and care! I ordered a vanilla cake with banana, walnut, and whipped chocolate filling, and it turned out absolutely perfect. Despite my last-minute request (only three days before the party!), Katia was incredibly kind and accommodating. The cake was beyond delicious-soft, spongy, and full of nostalgic flavors. My husband was truly surprised, and all our guests were raving about how amazing it tasted. Thank you so, so much, Katia and Chocho Bakery, for making our celebration so memorable! a beautiful bakery with an array of delicious desserts! the inside has glass cases that display their pasteries, cakes, and tarts. service is great, they're very nice and welcoming came one day to try some items and came again the next day to buy a full cake! red velvet cake was delish as well as the vanilla cake roll. the large cake was just a tad dry but i loved the cream! check this place out! read more
